  1. There is a very good chance the heater core is blocked by debris in the HVAC box since there is no filter blocking the debris from enetering thru the cowl. You also seem to have poor air flow. We have seen many instances of that here. When you grab the heater hoses are both of them hot? If the inlet and outlet are both hot, the water is circulating thru the core. Pretty sure the heater hose is 5/8".
  2. I will try mine in the am and see what it does. Have not tried the full max on hot in a long time. Tomorrow morning will present the opportunity.
  3. put it on max and turn the temp to full hot. I have done that on mine and got hot air in the past. Not sure that will cure anything but you should get hot air. Max air does not control the temp just what the air circulates over or thru.
  4. in the chicken ranger special ops group. There are always openings. No trident, but a nice copper fork.
  5. This was uncalled for. My eyes were open when seeing this and now they have been permanently been frozen open in the Pelosi wasteland. The free ranger chickens will be on the march.
  6. It has come to my attention that my left front cab support is rusting out. Noticed a rusted hole a little while back that is worse than I first thought and will need replacement soon. Anyone here dealt with this before? I can find replacement mounts for about 200 bucks a pair and figure I can manage the replacement for now. Just not sure whether the floor is rotted also. On top of that, what wiring harness is run thru the cab support? I am seeing a small, 1/4" or so loom inside of the cab mount.
  7. There is a drain in the front right of the hvac box at the inner fender well for condensation to drain from. How much you can flood the box before it comes into the passenger compartment is beyond me.
  8. An OBDII scanner should clear them. Maybe some cheap ones dont not for sure that. I clear mine so if I get another I dont get confused with old codes. Good to hear you solved your issue.
  9. I used that in mine but the hvac box was sitting on my work bench. Very easy to do there not so while in the truck. I see they have gone up over the years. They were $25 back about 7 or 8 years ago.
  10. I have one too. It's called retirement. It will finally be time todo what Dave Ripley wants to do. Do tell what yours is.
  11. I would definitely talk to them before installing it.
  12. Go to the downloads section and it listed under Dodge Factory Serice manuals. Scroll down and you should see it.
  13. Amazon non prime free delivery is about 8 days by donkey.
  14. Sold. Does that come with free shipping? Wait a minute, is this Amazon?
  15. I see no difference in mileage on the 5% mix and about a 5% loss on the 20% mix except on the few tanks of fuel from the pumps labeled bio mass diesel. I got 10% incresse in mileage. This was on pure interstate runs at 70 to 75 mph. I did it 4 times over the course of a couple months. There has to be some difference between the 2.
  16. I have an oil pressure switch for a fuel pump I no longer have. Sits just aft of the VP. I was going to buy a plg and remove the switch during the VP swap. Same deal, straight thread with an o ring to seal. Sorry I dont know the anything about threads or the where abouts of my plug that used to go there.
  17. Be careful my friend. You got alot going on and the road will wear you down. It gets harder every Sunday just pack up and head to Atlanta just to turn around and reverse the trip on Friday. I am down to about 800 a week for now, about 60 round trip from the neice's house to the job. But this time I am going the opposite way of most everyone else. And this is for your viewing pleasure. Thanks to you and everyone here for helping to get me this far.
  18. You got a 24valve trolling motor? Bet she flys!!!
  19. I am seeing more and more bio diesel down here in the SE. As long as I know its in there I dont use two stroke. I did notice a difference in the noise leve at idle with either one, but it is minimal. @Tractorman is that 20% bio mass diesel by any chance? I ask because I see a slight drop with the 20% biodiesel. But there were 2 stations in Tennessee that sold bio mass diesel that I got almost 2 mpg more than the other places that were labeled bio diesel. It got the extra mpg every time I bought at those 2 stations.
  20. Same here. About 100 bucks each. Group 27 750 cca as I remember?
  21. Dead pedal is not necessarily caused by a bad apps and you dont have any apps codes. You could clear the codes then drive the truck some and see what codes come back. You could also take a volt meter and check the battery voltage first thing before drive it. They should have about 125 to 12.6 volts if they are healthy. Then start the truck and check again to see what voltage your alternator is putting out. Should putting out around 14v if cold out a little less if its warm.
  22. If I had carried an extra VP with me then I would have lost the $600 core charge since I dont have a spare core to send in. Fortunately the company I work for picked up the rental truck and half the motel bill since I was there for work and a meeting. That took most of the sting out of the cost.
