  1. We would need access to the CCD bus. None of the OBDII wiring harnesses that we have access to actually connect to the CCD pins. It was in the original design spec but because problematic. For just the wiring from the OBDII port to the screen it costs us around $9 to $10 now because we can use standard harnesses. In order to get the CCD bus we would have to make a custom harness and just that piece would grow to around $45.
  2. That's the goal. Not to steal Edge's customers, but to beat their price.
  3. Both options will be available. In both configurations there should be the option to add on extra sensors. That may come later.
  4. Ahh man, never say never. We have inquired about it, but it may be too much to add in sounds. What i really wanted was a set location of a sound file that would play as long as it was in the right format (mp3 or ogg or something) that way you can change it to whatever warning sound you wanted. The developer thought I was crazy. @Marcus2000monsterRegarding it working on the 2000 Dodge, the only thing that would work would be the EGT probe, that is if it actually turned on which is doubtful. I think we tried it on a 2001 and it didn't even turn on. We look for a certain signal to come over the CAN bus on the OBDII port to turn on, but the CAN bus isn't even hooked up to the OBDII port on the 2000 Dodges. Our plan was to start Beta testing at the end of last year, but we still haven't seen hardware. I don't have a specific date yet for the release.
  5. We can make you one for the Android phone, but we don't have any for the iPhone and don't really have plans to make it. We would need to do a complete board redesign to do one for the iPhone. We are hoping the standalone screen we are working on will fill that gap. Honestly, we don't sell many of those, we have less than 10 that we built for beta testing. They do work well though. You can add on an EGT probe on top of the readings through the OBDII. There is a warning that it will only work on the Dodge's for 2006+.
  6. Yes, its already there. You just need to update your vehicle profile and it will show up.
  7. Its not the best solution, but you may need to completely delete the app and re-download it. You will probably want to download the Beta version here: http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/iPhoneApp/iQuadIOS(Apple)(1.9.42).ipa -Thanks again,
  8. Regarding the downloading. You will need to disconnect from the iQuad and connect to your home WiFi in order to download the new vehicle profiles. You will get an error message about not being connected to the Adrenaline, just ignore that and go to the menu to vehicle profile section. That error message you posted above should go away at that point. Regarding making timing changes. Just make smaller changes, if it starts to pop or blow smoke, back off the change.
  9. The update also applies to the IOS devices. You may need to make sure that you are connected to the internet, not your truck, then go to vehicle selection and click on the same V2 vehicle again to get the update to pop up. Base tune refers to the base level code that is running on the device. For example, we have been shipping V2.5 for a while now with a build date of 20170830. All custom tunes are applied on top of this base level tune. Its a good tune, but doesn't have the estimated fuel usage nor estimated gallons used per trip calculations that the 2.7.x tunes have. Beta tune for the IOS app isn't as critical as the Android app. However, you can try it out. It does give a bit more feedback than the one in the App store. It can be loaded here: http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/iPhoneApp/iQuadIOS(Apple)(1.9.42).ipa You will need to jump through some hoops to get it to load. -Thanks again,
  10. I updated the .json file, however, there is still weirdness with the app that needs to be addressed. You can update your vehicle profile to the V2 Dodge 1998-2002 V2.7 and it will show the MPG stuff if you have the 2.7 base level tune. It is also highly recommended to use the beta version of the app. I will continue to the developer.
  11. While I completely agree with @Me78569 and @Dieselfuture it is a good idea to monitor your lift pressure. We had a guy install one on his 2001 and only then find out that his lift pump was on its last legs. Pressure was dropping to 4psi with the lightest throttle application. His VP44 wouldn't have lasted long with that lift pump going out like that. If you have a mechanical gauge or some other way to monitor the lift pressure you are golden. We just happen to offer a cheaper way to install a fuel pressure gauge than getting a mechanical one or a dedicated gauge.
  12. That is literally the only add-on that we have for the Adrenaline. We don't charge for any custom tune loads when ordering nor do we charge extra for the EGT probe or for the trans temp sensor probe. The iQuad and iQuadBT versions of the kit are more expensive than the control pod version, but they are sooooooo much better.
  13. That is kind of a sore subject for me right now. Basically this is me with the developer right now
  14. I should have said, The rule of thumb to never use it with a factory high idle enabled ...
  15. I have full confidence @Mopar1973Man that you will use it wisely and properly. The rule of thumb to never use it is more for the people that aren't as confident in themselves being able to bleed the lines in case they accidentally forget to turn off the Quadzilla High Idle before a cold night. If you are sure that your factory high idle won't kick in go ahead and enable ours, just remember to turn it off before cold nights.
  16. Mine never lost connection with the iQuadBT. I will try and purposefully lose a connection and bring it back up to see if that affects anything. I tried forcing it to lose the connection by turning the key off and letting the truck die. I stayed on the phone while I turned the key back on to restart the bluetooth. I waited a full minute on the phone then hung up the phone. When the phone app hung up I was already back connected to the iQuad device with no problems whatsoever. The only thing I can think to try is to remove the OBDLink for a test to see if they are somehow interfering with each other. Let me know how that works for you.
  17. I tested it both hanging up from the phone and letting the other person hang up after the black screen. Both times never lost connection with the iQuadBT. Are you using a bluetooth connection through the stereo or to a bluetooth headset?
  18. I did that with my Samsung Galaxy S8 and it connect back to the app automatically and was working fine. Almost no delay. Does the call length matter past the black screen stage?
  19. Hey Mike, We are trying to reproduce your issue here and we can't. Its working just fine for very short calls and for calls around 5 minutes. Does the call length matter? Is there anything else going on that might help us reproduce it?
  20. I will have to defer to @Me78569 's knowledge, but from what I understand, the 120% will max out at full throttle and high boost. It will max out the maximum code from the ECM. There is a 10-bit variable that is set by the ECM to the VP44 to control the fueling. The maximum value that this 10-bit variable will hold is 4095. This is a hard limit the electronics impose on the amount of fueling the VP44 will give. This is the limitation for "CAN bus fueling" that all programmers and any plug and play module that does not tap the VP44 will have. The maximum CAN bus fueling message a stock ECU will send out is about 3600. 4095/3600 = 113.75%. If you set your max fueling at 113.75% you will eventually max out the fueling message to the VP44. It is very possible that in other situations, such as lower boost and lower RPM that a 150% fueling message will fuel much harder than a 120% fueling message. If you have enough air and have a higher fueling percentage than 120% and you aren't roaling coal then your truck can handle that higher fueling message before the ECU would normally max out and you can effectively use a CAN bus fueling percentage above 120%. There are plenty of stock-ish trucks out there that need to have a higher than 120% fueling message in order to get the max power out and still be clean.
  21. I'm glad you got that figured out. There are so many things that can cause a "bucking" issue but it looks like you've got it figured out now so that is fantastic.
  22. You can also check your alternator for A/C noise. It can cause the converter to lock and unlock at about that speed.
  23. I had just assumed G_Fass was being sarcastic in his post. Because, come on Dodge, its right there. Why limit it?
  24. Sorry so late to the thread. I didn't see this thread until just now. The beta version of the app that @Me78569 posted earlier should show a progress bar and keep you from changing stuff while the app is loading its parameters and custom tuning. It can also be found here: http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/AndroidApp/IQUAD_Android_app-release(1.9.40(56)).apk for Android. And here: http://quadzillatech.com/TunesDownloads/iPhoneApp/iQuadIOS(Apple)(1.9.42).ipa for iPhone. You will need to completely delete the current app and then download this one and install it. It will require you to enable unsigned apps to install these versions. These should be released to the marketplace after 1 more bug fix in January. We know of at least 1 way that the app will still freeze. If your truck cranks for a long time it will disconnect from the app and if it is in the middle of trying to load a custom tune will freeze the app requiring you to restart it. With that said, the reason why your current app is freezing a lot is because you are trying to change power levels or something else while it is trying to update the Adrenaline with the custom tune settings. If you have the wrong vehicle selected this can take up to 2 minutes. In the meantime you had no idea that you couldn't press a button therefor the frustration with the app. Hopefully this will be fixed in January. I apologize you are having these issues.
  25. Well no. A few days has turned into a few weeks and by the time the app is officially updated it will be a couple of months. There is a weird bug still that shows up in the iOS version of the app that we are working on. We need the help of the developer but he is out until January.
