  1. I need long travel air bags but they are extremely expensive
  2. yeah its sorta hidden but its a black 90* on the passenger fire wall
  3. I have been running the nations 180amp with the stock wires and fuse for 6 months no issues yet, nor do I expect any.
  4. I use red and tacky. and grease at every oil change
  5. my passenger went out at 215k. driver side is still ok at 223k...
  6. should fit. might rub a little but should clear
  7. Depends on what you want. pros and cons to both.
  8. What is the best wheel bearings out there for our trucks? I am thinking about doing them while I get my ball joints done.
  9. When in the Civic more lights blind me, then in my pickup or semi. I think most fail to remember alot of people are in cars and thier head is only 34-40 inches off the pavement...
  10. That is why some have mounted further back. The reflection off the hood will cause night blindness. I have a smallish 32" mounted to my bumper. It puts out more than enough for me. I might mount one in the headache rack when I get around to building it. Just as a work light/ get off my butt light for tailgaters.
  11. My 99 would max out and hold 28 psi on wot with the stock hx35w.and a 60hp program. All I had was an adjustable elbow. so I believe you have a leak or your wg is opening early.
  12. Yeah no reading on the plug ends...
  13. is that the Omega sign one? if so what should I see off the meter? I have been buying tools but electric still is a bit confusing lol.
  14. that would be great if I knew where to set the multi meter lol. too many choices on the damn thing lol
  15. Long story short. I plug in block heater GFI outlet breaker trips. I don't see any breaks in the wiring. So is my cord from the block heater bad? Is the block heater bad? or both? It was all working up until this week. I used the same outlet and extension cord with some power tools and they all worked fine.
  16. Short in the PCM wiring? Just a shot in the dark.
  17. anyone else notice that a lot of the long backs have less drawers then they used to? buy a 72" box and only get 6-7 drawers lol.
  18. I only have a few snap on, odds and ends. Really nice tools but the price for your avg person is not worth it. Now if you use it everyday that's a different story. Even harbor freight has a lifetime warranty on most their hand tools. Most of my tools are craftsmen or harbor freight. My tool box is made by CMB co Chicago metal box company. They used to make snap on boxes until the mid 90s when snap on wanted them to make them cheaper out of thinner metal... My 34" toolbox empty weighs more then my dads new craftsmen 72" box full. or at least felt that way when loading the thing up lol
  19. After 8 years of service the 850cca the interstate batteries in the truck it was time to replace. due to age I replaced them with the same batteries last year as the truck was starting to turn over slower then normal in the cold, Those batteries went into my dads 3500. they are still working but he doesn't daily drive the truck anymore these days. They are now 10 years old. I think they will finally give up the ghost this coming winter.

I just know that most "AWD" systems still suck lol. 4x4 is better but still most are sub par. they cheapen out to save a buck and use open diffs. so annoying to me. but like in your case and mine. snowy roads is the most that suv will ever see for the most part.

the only reason we are leaning to the Subaru.
  22. Just ignore if my ignorance is showing. But couldn't you just run a GDP fuel boss for the lift pump. All mechanical, belt driven. And I am not sure other than I love the idea of all mechanical analog gauges, why not just do like the rest and go electronic? Side note a cowl mounted FP gauge would be kinda cool and eliminate the fuel in the cab worry.
