Quadzilla Adrenaline with iQuadBT from DAP
That's what happened to me, had it activated at the dealer when I ordered the switch, installed and nothing happened. I went back to the dealer ship and they plugged it in only to realize they had unlocked the high idle function but forgot to enable it. At least that time I had the switch so I was able to test it before I left.

Front End Rebuild Suggestions
I don't know if it's the same part number but it is the same style of steering linkage. I got mine from Amazon, it is a mopar part. This did just bolt right onto my truck.

Front End Rebuild Suggestions
The steering shaft between the gear box and the joint is another place you can develop a lot of steering slop. Most of the threads were chewed off mine and the lock bolt was the only thing really allowing me to steer. I'm using moog ball joints and track bar without any issues, I also have a Readhead gear box and mopar 3rd gen steering linkage.

Will 5th gen wheels fit your 2nd gen Ram?
That was the funny part, I got up to 65mph and saw my rpm's were still at 1600. Then I remembered my speedometer is off now so I sped up to 70 which I think is about 65 and yeah, 1900 rpm. I'll take it to work a few days these week so I can get more actual results on cruising temps and all that. My test road by my house is not flat.

Will 5th gen wheels fit your 2nd gen Ram?
Yes, they will. I picked up this set of 2021 wheels the other day with new 245/70R17 Firestones. The guy gave me the lug nuts but Dodge changed the threads at some point so I am using my old spiked nuts for now. I didn't realize how tall these lug nuts were until I put them on these wheels. This was a test to see if how well a smaller tire will work like Mike has. So far my cruising EGT's are down about 150-200 degrees. I'll have to do some more driving later to verify. I was able to pull flat out run on level 4 up to 85mph and not exceed 1200* and that's with a tune I'm messing with so all bets are off, lol. I'll roll with these for a little bit while playing with the Quad, if I am satisfied I'll either have these tires swapped onto my Raceline wheels or get another set of the 5 spoke 3rd gen wheels.

Who likes Bilsteins?
The Reflex shocks are so much nicer, there's a rough patch on the road I take home from work every day that makes me physically shudder every time I roll over it. Today I barely noticed I had hit it. It's a truck so I don't expect it to ride like a cadillac but the difference is like getting hit with a rubber mallet as opposed to a claw hammer.

I have the 5100's, got about 15k miles on them. They are just too jarring, make it feel like my truck is falling apart faster than it really is. They do make the truck feel more stable in the turns, but I'm not trying to set lap records in this thing. I had a set of Monroe gas magnum shocks before the bilsteins and they were definitely smoother. I got the Reflex shocks from work, if they do blow out I'll have no problem getting my money back. Tomorrow I'll be swapping the shocks and installing some 5th gen take off wheels/tires to see if Mikes setup will work for me as well as it does for him.

Belt Tensioner Life Span
I replaced mine for the first time earlier this year(aboot 250k) and it stopped that annoying chirp these trucks tend to get when shutting down. Replacing the belt alone would make it go away for a little while but it kept coming back.

Well it finally happened! QUADZILLLLLA
Mike got me a base tune going that stopped me from almost melting my pistons every time I took off. I copied it into another tune and am slowly changing things to see what works and what doesn't.

Who likes Bilsteins?
I've had it with mine, they ride so dang stiff, reminds me of my 79 F-150 when I had 6 Rancho shocks on it. I'll be pulling them off soon and tossing a set of Monroe Reflex shocks back on it. I asked my co-worker, if I was an old man with a glass taint, what shocks would you sell me? It's ok, she already thinks I'm weird. If anyone is interested in them I'll be tossing them in the classifieds when I get them out.

Expensive mistake
Got the mirrors today, replacing the F-350 mirror was a snap. You pop off a little cover opposite the mirror that gives you access to all the bolts, no need to remove the entire door panel. I had it done in about 15 minutes, dude even gave me a nice hat from his crane business. I'm really glad he was so cool about the whole situation. Since I had to remove my door panel, I decided to replace my front speakers as well. Now I can start driving my truck and playing with the quad.

Quadzilla Adrenaline with iQuadBT from DAP
I almost went with the Xotic studs, the price is definitely eye catching. I haven't heard enough about them yet to try them so I decided to stick with the ARP's. Hopefully they work just as well for you.

WHIRRRR?
No kidding, Mike got me looking at stock sized tires again. The difference between the trucks just due to the tire size was pretty significant. Mikes engine load at 65mph was 6-9% while mine was 40+ at the same speed. Since my truck is now mostly a tow rig and not my daily I should probably get it to perform as such.

Expensive mistake
As far as I know a stock 4th gen mirror won't just bolt up to our trucks. The mirrors I am using are an aftermarket deal from 1Aauto that uses the 2nd gen mounting pattern with a 4th gen mirror head. I previously had the power/heated versions but then they came out with the power/heated/power folding with the marker light that I just had to have. The power mirrors and heat will plug right in if you already have the option on your truck, the power folding and marker lights have to be wired in. I really enjoy the power folding feature when moving my trailers through my fence and I get a little to close to one side.

Expensive mistake
Upon closer inspection I noticed there is a small hole in the front and the marker light had been knocked loose. I bought some of that flexible mirror material to put in the housing until the new mirrors arrive next week. Hopefully I will be able to see something with it. I'm actually impressed with how the body held up, I was doing about 40mph when the mirrors made contact and it's still solid. If the gears hadn't stripped I probably would have just looked for some new glass.

Expensive mistake
I took the truck to work today as I wanted to swing by Harbor freight and get a small crane for the back of my truck. On my way home I managed to smash my passenger side mirror into the driver side mirror of a 2017 F-350. Thankfully the guy was super cool about the whole thing and agreed to let me just buy a new mirror and install it for him. I went through 1Aauto and found his mirror for $400, for comparison the dealer wanted $1800. Unfortunately for me I have the fancy power folding 4th gen style mirrors that you have to buy in pairs for $500. I was hoping maybe I could just replace the glass as the body is still intact but I can see one of the gears has a flat spot now. If anyone needs a new driver side 4th gen style power folding mirror, I'll have one to sell soon.

Quadzilla Adrenaline with iQuadBT from DAP
I drove my truck today and noticed it was bucking a bit cruising around 35-40mph. Hopefully we can sort that out with the timing then as well.

Quadzilla Adrenaline with iQuadBT from DAP
I doubt you will get the module in the cab, the wires aren't really long enough. The wire for the EGT probe is just long enough to reach the manifold. Even just getting the wifi portion of it in the cab is unlikely unless you extend the harness somehow. I installed my Quad last weekend and haven't had any connection issues yet. I would suggest going into the settings on your tablet and looking for the Quad signal to connect to as opposed to letting the app scan for it. It seems to work quicker that way. I tried the Quad back in 2017 and it was a big PITA, couldn't get it to connect or even stay connected when I did manage to get it working. I got a reply to the review I left on the app saying they had worked out a lot of the issues that caused that and so far it seems to be true.

Lets see who you are!
Wow, older pic, 2016 but I haven't changed much, maybe 20lbs heavier. I don't take pics of myself, had just installed the stacks and the wife snapped a pic while BS'ing with my friend.

Suggestions for injectors, turbo, head gasket.
I currently have it set to shut down at 450*, even stock especially in the summer I would have to wait for minute or 2 to get under 450. It's not near as long in the winter. Yes, the turbo I just installed did come from DAP. I'll be getting together with Mike this weekend to build some tunes, the truck does run fine on the preset tunes for now as long as I don't need to tow anything uphill. I don't think I can tweak any of the default tunes. Aside from my lack of tuning ability, this round with the quad is going much better than last time. It was a $50 RCA tablet I got from Walmart several years ago when I first tried the Quad. It's been sitting in a desk drawer since then which I'm sure didn't do it any favors.

Suggestions for injectors, turbo, head gasket.
My El cheapo tablet isn't going to work, the battery is almost dead within a few hours of not even being used. Thankfully the new Iquad works with android and IOS so I was able to just switch to my phone and not have to go get a new tablet right away. Definitely gonna need some help with tuning though, just like last time I tried to make a tune and only made the truck undrivable. Back to the standard tunes for now, lol.

Suggestions for injectors, turbo, head gasket.
I got the Quad installed yesterday, didn't connect as easily as I thought it would but once it was connected it only lost connection once and then maintained all through my testing. I did turn on the turbo timer, that's a nice feature. I won't have to sit in my truck waiting for the EGT's to drop so I can shut it down. It's been a few years since I last tried this thing and it definitely delivers power differently than my Edge. I'm surprised that even at level 10 of the stock tunes it comes with I have very little smoke but my egt's are still high. Have to try the custom stuff next.

Another NV4500 failure.
Swap in an 18spd, that way you have more gears to lose before you can't drive it anymore.

New to Quadzilla and confused
I have a cheap $50 tablet I got from walmart to use with mine once I install it. I wasn't aware I didn't need to have it on all the time, that will be a welcome change.

Turbo and injectors recommedations
That's the turbo I just installed, along with some 7x009 100hp injectors. I will be installing my Quadzilla tomorrow and then getting with Mike to help tune it. You don't need the optional manifold to install it, I thought I did so I got it and it actually made things more difficult that keeping the stock manifold.
