2001 3500 "Y" steering upgrade?
Yes but no. Same angle yes, how it gets there doesnt matter. It can still have the bend in it. I run a straight track bar This is my jeep and is set up correctly steers better than my dodge with 2008.5 steering

It will have bump steer if you go to crossover steering without also reworking the track bar to match the new draglink angle. You absolutely cannot change the draglink angle without making the track bar match it. Track bar and draglink are to be thought of as a single unit

Belt Tensioner Life Span
I like the cummins Chirotherapie. Mine actually stopped chirping a year or two ago. I think we I put a alternator on. Tensioner has never been changed. 350k now

Not sure why these guys think your boost numbers are off. Far as I can tell your fueled like stock. I doubt the smarty will increase much at all. If injectors are realy old they will also contribute to low psi.

Track bar solutions
I dont know what average is. Thats about how long moog, and oem bars last on our 07. At one point in time i was on bored with the luke stuff. But honestly no one runs that stuff, its super easy just put a new fast food track bar on every few years. On my 02 im running a 7/8" heim track bar. I absolutely despise a tie rod end on the frame side. I cut the factory stuff off my frame and fabbed the frame side from scratch. I have lots of hours into fabbing the frame side id probly be ahead just to swap it out every couple years with a moog or whatever.

I wouldn't mess with the lukes stuff. Just get whatever bar the parts house stocks and expect it to last 10-20k

Purdy. Yeah were gona break 500 on the 07 by Christmas. It hasn't had any transmission work. Just a few clutches maybe at its low power and lowering level the transmission will outlast the truck. I have been impressed with the reliability of my 47re after throwing parts at it 8 or so years ago. Not sure if its cost to build versus some manual trans parts is better not. Just in clutches the 07 is nearing what i spent on the 47

What exactly do you mean by launch timing? I picture a brake stand and launching with 30 psi. 400miles at half tank means im getting good mpg but no where near 28. Its common for my truck but doesnt seem to mean ive burned 15 gallons or 17.

So mike. Say you get 28mpg 375hp what is your tourge guestimate. To keep things simple lets elimate things exstending passed the rear crank seal.

Giving the jeep some tlc.
Forst time putting the chromoly front shafts to use My watch dog, started feeding it about a week ago. Not super friendly , kinda inviting when i get gome round the corner to my back door and am greated by a hissing hungry badger.

more abs brake problems
Id look the master cylinder over for a leak. Seems mine leaked alittle before it leaked alot. On of, on of, on I think you can cycle your key 3 times on the 3rd leave it on it might flash codes across the odometer display
