  1. Probly not worth the expense to do gears or buy tires when you can just grab the stick or push the throttle further down
  2. Tractor fluid. Best of atf and hydraulic fluid in one bottle to suit all our needs. Might keep us from chasing the red heads around.
  3. Here it is on 35x12.5x17s this is a couple years ago. Have a few hundred mikes on the 2007 steering and maybe 50 on my truck. Funny thing is my truck drives tighter and more precise than the 2007. Both identical steering. 2007 has a prominent dead spot at the center. When I removed factory steering I found a wobbled stopper tie rod boot on the passenger knuckle. I didnt put it back. I found it od that the factory used a wobble stopper. It is a cab n chassis truck but that shouldn't matter? Truck does kinda drive better but that damn floating dead spot at center is driving me crazy. I run a wobble stopper on my jeep and it drives 10 times better than the 07. The eventual plan is for these to end up on the jeep. These wheels lock both beads so I can air down to a couple lbs and not worry about knocking a bead off. Have 5 of these wheels. To recenter the center is cut from the outside half of the wheel the new center is welded back in on the inside half. One cool thing about this is back spacing goes from factory h1 7" to a more normal 4-3.5. Dodge wheels are about 6.5". Normal aftermarket i should say. The tire can also be changed with the tire still bolted to the vehicle. Im not young but I feel young. Those wanting to run these bigger tires can intentionally get into these for 600-900 for a tire and wheel combo. Then a second set of tires run about the same. https://www.ebay.com/itm/124487840100 Theres only 3 maybe 4 options for cheap 37s like this. For me 16.5 opens up the jeep to a set of offroas only with ag or tractor tires. The 37s may be short lived on the truck but will be fun for a few. I havent decided 100% sure on back spacing. Now that I have this center cut out I can mount the tire and figure what back spacing I want on the jeep. Likely 3.5" will work fine.
  4. Have them on my cart at trail worthy fab. The centers cost 200 for the set of four price bumps to 300 with shipping. For some reason bumping to that 300 spot has me flusterd
  5. Dripley! Its just a dana30. The 37s i have measure about 35 . With them id still have decent low speed trail performance. With front locker i could likely snap inner ujoints fairly easy. debating ordering jeep centers to weld in the h1 wheels. Im very close to doing it. Why i haven't yet is none are sold through eBay i dont want to pay shipping. Lol. Cut the 8lug center out and weld in 5lug center. Backspacing will be 3.5" ounce done.
  6. How come ive never done a steering box. Do 2500 3500 share the same box?
  7. 07 steering is on. We bought it new as a cab n chassis its actually 2wd but shares all front end stuff with my truck Dad thinks its heavier duty than a normal 3500 im like no look at it its same everything as my 02. I have a fox steering stabalizer laying around i may put it on the 07. Also replaced all passenger side wheel studs they must have been loose all showed wear pattern at the base of the hub. Very thankful they are hub centric wheels The closest thing we have to a cat is this bobcat its not ours were trying it. Thinking to buy it. Debating sizes and types that machine weights 9300lbs . I kinda think bumping up a step to a 11k skidsteer. Though this one works circles around our old tire skidsteer. Old man says I want want want. 30k digger a track skidsteer and I can concour the world take your hoe and shove it.
  8. Run the piss outa her wring er out put away wet n repeat. Hoping to get steering on her tonight. Feel kinda bad I did my truck first its just sitting
  9. Thats lugging it id be hazing pretty black at that rpm.
  10. The boise idaho area is booming goal is four house clearances dug by end of Tuesday. Im on my own to get it done . I have about. 5" between them now. Mopar might be better stuff
  11. Block the entire radiator with card board. Some say not to but I do and have not seen any negative effects. Just remember to pull it or fold it in half if outside temp gets above 40deg
  12. When the morning prayer doesn't work who knows what happen
  13. More power always means more heat. Doesnt matter what programmer turbo or injectors. You can likely tune quad to runn cooler but im undecided if it's worth messing with until the truck can mechanicly manage the heat produced from more power 600-750 is perfectly normal running lower rpm with bigger tires. I'd be surprised to see Temps drop by switching to a quad. My truck runs similar cruising Temps but at about 1800rpm. But I can't really compare because I have 7x009 injectors 62 turbo and smarty. I will acasionaly see 800 with cruise on pulling a semi steeper flat grade if that makes since. I saw Temps drop 100ish going from 4-5. Not sure thats really worth the expense and time. With the bigger turbo my max temp pedal on the floor pulling a grade with a trailer im 1100ish. If I lugged on it or pulled the ground slower I'd probly be above 1200. I like to pull grades at 2000-2200 were shes moving some air removing the heat. Good luck and have fun with it.
  14. One truck down, drives way way nice. I have everything a shot of grease and drove down the rd making a few drag link adjustments to center steering wheel. I did cut about a 1/4" off drag link to adjust wheel to center on Jack stands had drag and tie rod at pitman arm touching inside adjuster sleeve . I was worried I'd get some bump steer because I set track bar to match factory steering. Got lucky not even a hint of bump steer, see no reason to spend time putting a steering stabalizer back on.
  15. I wore out a ball joint in like 3days. Its still on the truck. No that chaps my ***. I believe all parts are **** these days. Myswell spend less for shitty **** than more
  16. I think there's been groups doing 150s and 62 turbos for along time. Just before it wasn't known and plastered all over the internet.
  17. My 02 light only sometimes comes on. I always thought there was a switch or something it was tripping but not working or worn out. Cad on 01.5? As soon as you said light doesn't come on but 4wd works i assumed it was a non cad rig.
  18. Knows better. Steering kits get here Saturday. I can't wait to get rid of the crappy *** Steering on both trucks. Decided to order these moog kits cause I'm strapped for time. Had recently decided to fabb Steering on both trucks
  19. So far I've fabbed a handful of 3rd hen tracks bars and know otheres complaining about them not lasting very long. Seems ounce the factory one gets replaced the track eating frenzy begins. On our work truck we even bought a new mopar bar after eating a couple napa bars, though it ate it to. Then I fabbed a 7/8" heim joints bar and its been going strong for about 2years now about 80k miles. Wish I could easily do 2nd gen track bars too
  20. Not on our 07 bone stock small tires eats them like candy I've done a few 3rd gen track bars fir people My mind thinks the 3rd gen style track bars are better than 2nd. But doesn't seem to be the case.
  21. Im running that exact smedding 62 68 14 wait mines a 62 65 14 i think. Mines a 3rd gen turbo though cause I screwd up accidentally orderd the wrong one. I love the turbo it lights quick and runs cool with 100hp injectors was a hame changer no more driving by egt gause no more peddling off climbs and noticable amount more power compared to stock. Im sure results with the 62 68 14 will be just as good. You may not even want any tuning. Turbo, injectors and your golden no messing with tunes fighting egts and trying to make power. Mechanicly it just does it on its own
  22. Funny how what we had to do to our trucks 10 years ago has changed today. Now we have to have 10s quad and 62 turbo just to make them move down the street. Don't forget tires cant be larger than 28" tall
