  1. Been living with my race mirrors
  2. Would I need a computer or can my phone do it all
  3. Well we got it. Itl be my dads truck. As our 6.7 work truck went.
  4. My trucks getting closer to telling me why its starting hard so I better not buy anything till it speaks Cn I use the quad without a display?
  5. Alright wacha guys smoking havent figured out if I want to take a hit as its passed around the campfire or not. Delo400 for 15years 3 months is thts 6-10000 miles I dont relax check mine o just change it about 3 months. Im honestly amazed there arent amzoil pushers here. We run Delo in everything big trucks pickups lawn mowers dirt stuff.
  6. Remodel additions suck. I may have spent 9 years of a former life with a framing hammer in hand. Sometimes I'd like to go back but I could never hit the nail without hitting my hand first ;)
  7. I've got ducky 7x009 sacs. They've got around 100k on them maybe more. I feel they've done pretty good. Great customer service from ducky to. I'll get on the boat and try 150s maybe 175 just to be different 62 65 14 Borg feed them.
  8. Do you know who actually makes the goerend one or is it actually them making it. Not that it matters just for curiosity sake. What bolts do you use. I ended up cutting some to length for mine. I remember short seemed to short and longer seemed to long. Converter to flexplate bolts.
  9. I keep hearing how this turbo may be laggy . Yanking equipment trailer at 18k it builds at the same rate I push the pedal. I have smarty on 9 tm3 timing 4 duration 3. I am slightly worried about timing on 4 but it doesn't seem to be problem. I actually used to change timing to stock when I towed but decided to run it. Smoke isnt horrible much better than timing at stock. Just thought I'd share incase otheres on the fence . Turbo has been one my best mods. It flat just works I could do without the smarty and be happy Cool egts and getting decent fuel mileage Now I need moose mirrors like mike.
  10. Your definitely putting her to work. My first thought was ya maybe but then I got to thinking gravel rds tear stuff up. Our big truck has broken ujoints suspension bushings metal fatigues and tears. I've ripped wheels off on the bolt pattern Then I got to thinking a ton probably has greaseable light duty u joints. It does have cheesey sway bar links The trcks taking a beating for sure. The trailer should also show signs of taking the same abuse, cracked welds bushings beat through or wearing flat if solid or heavy walled We see this kind of wear running pavement at 32k gross with our pickups and goosekneck I don't honestly know that a bigger truck will survive any better it had more weight more tourge to beat itself apart even more. We did a job almost 100 miles deep in the Nevada desert. 4 truck and pups hauling material. It was a nightmare washboard knocking them out daily. Nothing worse than 1 truck making it the first day. Dirt it's a harsh world to travel heavy
  11. Anything to look out for, pumps injectors. Truck is bone stock looking at buying it
  12. Snows usually burned off by July. I couldn't imagine driving with my left hand and left foot. Shifting is done with throttle I haven't really learned to use the clutch yet.
  13. Mine might squat alittle less with 1ton springs. I think the nose 5" lower looks horrid.
  14. I thought dynamic used a goerend flex plate. Either way I would not invest in transmission and put the stock flexplate back in. I did the goerend billett myswell bolt billett to billett
  15. Today. This weekend. 3rd attempt to go over the mtn. Ugh headed out gave up again I'll try pictures later it's not working right now.
  16. Dynamic/geometry will be off but is livable
  17. I don't know what the car is. I'd love to swing a hammer instead of dirt work.
  18. I have no idea. A factory style but adjustable. Dodge offroad I think makes one. Carly stuff cost to much. At 2" you can get by with a stock length to. https://store.dodgeoffroad.com/2nd-Gen-Trucks-1994-2002_c_47.html The dodge offroad bracket might retain the factory track bar angle. I'm just looking at photos of it with nothing to confirm that. It also moves the bar forward wich means it can locate the bar beside the factor track bar tie rod mount beside it instead of under it. Wich could retain the angle. Still no confirmation on this.
  19. I'd suggest not doing a 3ed gen set up. Youl tune bumpsteer into the steering. I run 2" coil spacer in my front with no complaints. My truck works to. I'm a recent believer in fox shocks. Do your research on the truck bar set up.i could be wrong. Track bar and drag link must be at the same angle. The bracket to convert framecside to bushing will lower it putting it at less angle than the drag link creating bump steer. Research.
  20. That's amazing man I think 3-400 is fun t drive 540 would be unre. What's RCSB?
  21. Heres inside a 51" Then after I beat on it with a bar. Wish I had a air cutter so I could reach in and cut it out. I couldn't get the ears to bend all the way out. Figured I'd share this here. The 51" 5" muffler in the application it was designed for. The exhaust 90 was rusted out. I did a quick bandaid with the new muffler it hopefully lasts a few years. I also did brakes on the drives and painted the bed. This truck takes priority over my pickup I drive it more anyways. It's a 365 big cam I've done no power mods on. Truck has 1.3mill on it. 365 was in framed at 837k replaced a couple injectors and clutch in about 15 years of owning it. Its scarey to drive at night. I may try some led headlights one of these days.
  22. No leaks on intake or anywhere I can find with soapy water. I did raise timing to 4 wich helped slightly. Truck is also getting a more persistent hard . Sometimes starts normal when I cycle lift pump a few times. Sometimes not. Pump still idling at 20psi and pulls down to 15-18 with moderate pedal. DAP is trying to talk me into injectors but I dunno why theyd cause hardxstarting could the be letting to much fuel on start up? I'll need to get this fixed before winter itl likely not start ounce temps drop.
  23. It can survive alot of play. My dana 80 is slowly eating itself has been for few years. Get that nut as tight as you can by whatever means you can. I pierced the seal getting mine out. Just finesse with happier punches and screwdriver removed it.Turns out my bearings are so sloppy it just took the new seal out. But it doesn't leak much. Good luck I hope it doesn't start leaking right away
