  2. I've good luck with rubber gasket. I start all bolts on bench just through rubber gasket. Then raise pan to tranny then just start all bolts then snug all bolts in a cross pattern then snug again after all are snug.
  3. I live and work in ada county though I'm registered in Elmore county. I think I smke more than you but havent been pulled over. Getting 15k moving is when I put on a smoke show. Empty I'm just a good haze unless I stand on then roll some black wich isnt very often

  7. My mind says these trucks running stock turbos a quad and 150s are all running hot towing. Regardless of tune. Stock turbo and factory tune will also run hot but is easily peddled off. I'd get 150s turbo then tuner in that order. Drive by temp gauge religiously until turbo is upgraded.
  8. That's weird. Does converter still lock in 2nd gear.?I don't know how dynamic blocks the port. That's where my mind goes to a fluid passage not mechanical lever. To me if it was the rooster or detent ball youd either have it or not. Whatever is going on you need to split the valve body if only so I can see how the ports blocked. Haha However I doubt its moved since the plate holds it or possibly does Curious what your idle egt temps are. My gauge doesn't start till 400, idling in gear or neutral gauge isnt registering. Iv also not noticed much difference between sw7 and 9 in smoke or temp. But changing tm from 3-4 is pretty drastic in smoke but temps stay the same or so close I can't really see a difference. Could be my temp gauge isnt reading as fine as yours. I can change between sw7 and nine. Same 3 3 2 settings and have to really look for the change. Actually think smoke may be slightly less on 9 but transmission shifts virtually the same. Bump tm to 4 and trans shifts 100-200 rpm sooner with more smoke. I've never stalled truck with smarty my injectors have probly close to 80k on them. Only stalled when they were new with factory tune. To me your stalling would be from the 320 injectors and transmission not always going where selected is just side weirdness. You've completely lost reverse and neutral?
  9. Just smarty. Been running sw7 t4 timing 3 duration2 I usually cruise at 1800 that's about 75. Sometimes I cruise at 80. I not really driving for mpg I'm burning a couple tanks week and towing. I gave up trying to get better than 17 just not gonna happen at 10k with towing and stop and go mixed in with interstate. Towing significantly knocks me away from 17. I cruise at 80 while towing slurping the fuel

  12. Quad and injectors will also cause truck to drive down the rd more easily requiring less throttle pedal. Of wich is unrelated to the stalling
  13. Mines stalled few times when injectors were new. I'm running 7x009 sw7 4 3 2

  15. My pressure at 1800ish rpm. Though must have a tail wind its normally 5ish and I'm hazing just enough to see it in the mirror

  20. What's your pressure gauge reading at 70mph. Hopefully 5-8psi Maybe bump speed to 75 . Youl find a sweet spot with those tires. Dont be afraid to see it hazing cruising at freeway speeds.
  21. I agree with mike . A set of tools on hand isnt worth anything without parts. However I run around a couple lbs shy of 10k lots of tools welder and torch on board with 34s and seem to get decent numbers. My situation requires tools as there is no shop to drag things to.
