Gremlin overload!
I found the issue with the no start no lights deal. The positive driver battery terminal was vibrating loose and losing power to PDC. It also had a hole in the battery terminal caused by corrosion and arcing. I’m getting new battery’s this weekend and maybe ordering new cables not sure yet.

Extended crank to start
Currently nothing is happening out of the ordinary we will see what happens in the near future. I did repair a frayed fuel pump power wire that could have been causing it.

Gremlin overload!
I took a closer lookat my PDC power lead and it appears that theyre could be more corrosion inside the cable. Where can i get a new one or must i custom make a wire?

Extended crank to start
I found a possible contrbution to the issue that i fixed last night. The main power lead for the Fass fuel pump was frayed and coming apart at the end where it connects with the battery. i replaced the connector and heat shrinked it to prevent corrosion. This could very easily be the issue i imagine.

Extended crank to start
We will see if it continues. Which of the above would happen intermittently?

Extended crank to start
I pulled my battery cables last night and took a coarse wire brush to them and got real rough. I pulled the positive lead lugs apart and thoroughly brushed them and reclamped them tight. So far it still hasn’t done it again but time will tell. I did notice that rot and arcing has burned a pinhole into the terminal. Gotta grab new batteries soon. Getting ready to go start her up and it’s 10F out.

Extended crank to start
Absolutely. But it does it after I have driven it and coolant temp has risen. It also did a little loping at one point.

It was 10 degrees here this morning but it cranks just as fast as before just takes longer to fire?

Extended crank to start
Developed a new issue. Usually my truck will start with half a revolution. It has started taking 4 sometimes more to start. What’s going on? No codes truck runs good. Good fuel pressure.

Towing without gauges
I do plan to lower tire size once I have the axles swapped.
-
Towing without gauges
I don’t tow very often which is why I’m swapping in a set of 3:54s. I’m MPG and lower RPM hungry lol. I think the lower gear ratio with the 6 speed will be top notch.

Yes it did. EGTs stayed under 1200F . ‘Twas a bit laggy but that is due to my setup.

Throttle acting up
Might be your Crankshaft Position Sensor or Cam Sensor depending on your year. Mine was doing the RPM jump under load and threw a P0336. Heres the article for noise testing. Super easy to do.

Gremlin overload!
Well all checked out and I cleaned the cables thoroughly and the issue still hasn’t returned. I drove 600 miles this past weekend and truck ran well!
