You need to scan with a better scanner. Sounds like a cam sensor. Just did my crank sensor and had similar symptoms.

You bet. It fakes a lot to keep on top of things though. I’m hoping to install a new dashboard before long. I ruined mine while installing a heater core.

It’s my goal to have a work truck that looks almost entirely stock in perfect shape. I will continue to slowly go through my truck and restore all imperfections to like new.

My boss has a set of RV275s laying on the shelf that I might see if he will sell. I’ll prob send them to DAP and have ham repopped and tested. I think they’re used.

Max AC and Off is where it does it the most. I can still hear it faintly in other modes. I checked vac lines and all seems well. What door is the one right behind the glovebox? Is that one supposed to open and shut when switching modes?

IMO that isnt much miles and those should last longer but being DAP prices are so good i dont mind changing every 100K.

Ok guys still got the wind noise. Where is he inside outside doo r and what to do next it does it on all settings just not very loud except for off and ac settings it is loud?

Thanks for that pic very helpful. So clearly it will not work. I’m sorely tempted to go tali this a sport upgrade. They have to be a good but better than non sport especially with a good set of bulbs.

It it possible to wire in a 9007 pigtail to the oem wiring to obtain brighter light? i believe theyre is somewhere in the range of an added 700 lumens when swapping from 9004 to 9007. Seems it could be a worthwhile upgrade for those of us that cant afford a projector retrofit or fancy leds.

Do you think it is the blend door letting the noise in?

Got my new heater core in good heat and much nicer but now I have a wind noise that I hear loudly when the fan is off. It increases and decreases with speed. Feels like maybe cool air is entering then as well. Blend door broken?

What didnhose genuine Cummins battery’s run you for price? I assume you installed those in a second gen?

Mike I think we’re off track. @pepsi71ocean mentioned that he raised his pop pressures to 322 and had a smoother idle and less smoke. I was just wondering if they’re was any reason I couldn’t do the same thing and set mine at 320 or so being mine are 75s and his were 100s. I would love decreased smoke and smoother idle.

I realize I have to send them in to dap to get repopped I’m just wondering if they’re is any reason I couldn’t do it being I have different mods than Pepsi?

How did the heater core go? I’m putting my interior back together this morning. I didn’t mess with the evaporator like I should have but oh well. It’s honestly only as much a pain as you make it.

Definatly sounds like air in fuel. When i had to remove that 90 on my truck when i put it back on i cracked it because i overtightened it. drove fine for a couple days till it broke off truck ran as described and i lost a qaurter tank of fuel in 3/8 of a mile. i would inspect evrything you mssed with for whatever reason and go from theyre. If need be get a clear fuel line and splice it in somewhere an d you will see bubbles if theyre is air in the sytem.

Any reason I couldn’t bump my pressures up to get this smooth idle and reduced smoke?
