I’m fortunate to have a used tire shop locally that found me a set of Goodyear all terrains for 300$. They have 75% tread left. I’ll get a pic tomorrow if I can remember.

5 yr warranty 3 yr free replacement plus 2 yrs pro rated whatever that means. If my research is correct Napa and Everstart are both made by Exide company.

What’s the CCA rating on yours? My old ones are 810 and Napa battery for my truck is 740. Not sure why the newer battery’s are less? I just found another Napa battery in theyre website with 800 CCA rating.

My valves are perfect just did them 3 weeks ago. I really wanna find out WTF causes it.

I need a new set of battery’s before winter and I’m curious what you guys recommend and have had good luck with? Currently have Napa battery’s.

I didn’t know they made a 6 speed in the G8s was it a GT with the V8 LS motor? If not then they're is a world of difference. The GT is extremely powerful. I have not done much work work on the 6.7L Powerstroke. Mainly 6.0 and 7.3. They’re pieces of trash. All of them but the new 6.7 and they have a lot of problems as well.

@Tractorman What would happen if a guy just threw a piece of that drain pipe inside and replaced the intake hose? Might need some sort of way to hold it in as the turbo might get some idea to suck it into the compressor.

Yours definitely sounds wierd. I’m having a loping issue now. It does it sporadically and not for long but all it is is a simple light lope. Just like a truck tuned for a pipe but softer. That’s the only issue I’m trying to track down as of now.

We get a lot of 7.3L trucks with bad cam sensors. Iv done several sets of injectors as well. After working on these trucks I think any Cummins is as easy as an oil change to work on.

I agree I can handle the 7.3L trucks. Good engines they were.

Unfortunately yes. But I still love my job! I get to work on a Cummins occasionally but mostly Powerstrokes.
