I wouldn’t mind a run down of Ford vs Cummins. Not that I have anything against any other engine but out of curiosity. I work on 7.3s, 6.0s, 6.4s, and 6.7s every day and its rather obvious that they require more $$$ and maintenance than any other Cummins diesel around including common rails.

I was using China in place of a #%¥£€=*%% word lol. I’ll be getting an airdog next go round.

Three years ago we had -43 F and I feel bad for anyone that had to start they’re diesel outside in that.

That when I wish I had a car! I’m the same way. I started my truck when it was -30 and almost wet myself but I couldn’t cuz it was so cold. But she never failed to start this past winter.

There’s no question that aQaudzilla is in the future but it’s not gonna happen soon. Until then what would be the best setup for mpg and longevity without smoke and lag? Rv275s or oem sticks?

Can OEMs not be increased? Would they be more efficient if increased?

Good words they’re chikin man! I’ll always value the opinion of everyone here. I am now running Rotella T6 5W-40 Synthetic as of 1 hr ago and a Fleetguard filter. I plan to stick to this combo for the rest of the trucks life.

I’ll swap you videos of startup and idle? I’m curious what yours sounds like vs mine. I changed my oil an hr ago with Fleetguard filter and Rotella 5W40.

So would it be a good idea to set my 75s to 320 bar being I don’t need hve any tuning? What is the normal pop off pressure for new 75s?

When you add fuel to the truck such as 75 hp injectors in my case without a programmer does the ECM increase timing to compensate for the extra fuel? I’m thinking my engine is running higher timing vs a stock truck hence the difference in sound. The injectors are the only thing I can think of to make my truck sound different although I can’t remember what it sounded like before I put the Dap 75s in.

That’s the T6. I’m using the same. I’m changing oil tonight and switching from Napa to Fleetguard filter and from Rotella 15W-40 to Rotella 5W-40 synthetic. I see no reason not to run 5W-40 year round.

Well the little tan plastic piece separated from the rest of along with the board from the dial. I need to look closer there’s a chance I can glue it back together I’ll see and get a pic when I can.
