I just resealed my power steering and vacuum pumps chasing the same leak. It’s very simple.

I run 15W40 in the summer and 10W40 in the winter. I use full synthetic. Have been using Rotella T but I’m switching over to Schaefer when my next oil change is due. I also change my oil every 4K miles.

I came from that nasty plac as well. Thankfully my parents pulled me out when I was just 4 years old. Now I’m living the dream under a big Montana sky!

I would assume that if the code hasn’t came back than the Vp44 is problably ok but I could be wrong.

I thought i saw mention to hat Qaudzilla was building a monitor. That would be awesome!

I'm tempted to do the same with my OEM sticks. The 75s are very smoky and laggy and yes I know I just need to get a Qaudzilla but the likelihood of that is slim as I'm trying to build tool inventory and do cosmetic work on the truck. My truck ran just fine with the stock injectors with 125k on them. I had big plans for more power but decided to keep it moderate.

I’m working on figuring out a way to use an Android device and have it come on and off with the key switch. I have no clue how to go about this. Any suggestions? I think I have found a way to make it autostart a certain app namely IQuad of course so that part I can work with.... hopefully within a month I can afford a Qaud!

Iv got close to 350$ saved towards a tuner! All proceeds are from side jobs that I have. Like today I laid a rock path for someone for a couple hrs and put some more cash towards that Qaudzilla. I would like to be doing mechanic side work but it’s not happening I have no way to bring customers in besides family and friends and that’s not enough to keep me going.

Thanks for that! Iv got a ton of stuff that needs to be done including tires and steering gear before I spend the money on AC equipment that I won’t need till next spring.

I’m thinking I will wait till spring to repair the AC. I haven’t been using it much lately and fall/winter is coming quickly.

So just buy the canned Freon from Napa? What do you recommend to pressure test as far as tool brand?

Good evening folks! So for a good while now my air conditioner has not been blowing cold at all. Almost lukewarm. Most folks say it needs a Freon recharge which is available at my local parts house. My concern is that if it needs recharged to blow cold again does that not mean that it is leaking out somewhere? I would like a step by step guide to recharging and testing for leaks if y’all would be so kind. Thanks!
