  1. Yea there's no better forum for these trucks. None whatsoever!
  2. Hi all, I have finally come up for air and ready to install my Quadzilla. If anyone can direct me any "new user" articles in here on to how to set it up, not the physical part, I have that covered, but the software aspect of it. I'm using it with an iPhone. I would greatly appreciate it!
  3. Ok well next time. Had finals this week so had to stay put. Have a safe trip home!
  4. How long are you guys going to be up there. I'm heading up to Lone Pine on Monday.
  5. This is perfect! Thank you so much for the write up. Here's my math. Stock size = 235/86 R16 New size = 245/70 R19.5 Stock ratio = 3.55 Effective ratio 3.43:1 New Ratio Needed 3.67:1 The make a 3.73 for the dana 60 and 80 in my truck. That should work. I've also got my friend with a tire shop educated so we can make the world a better place one truck at a time ;-)
  6. It all sounds like a grand adventure!!
  7. I good friend of mine went to work as a radio engineer in LV for CBS Broadcasting on their AM radio stations. He was working for them in LA. It was a good setup with wack manager. So he took the gig in LV. He found a good manager with a wack setup. He told me they just gave you a leatherman and that was all the tools they provided. He was not feeling that at all.
  8. Yep you never know exactly what you are signing up for until you get under the hood of it. You are very smart and you have options so you don't have to be stuck in an unfavourable situation.
  9. I'm sooooo happy for you. I hope it's everything you've ever dreamed of. The potential is there. I'm looking forward to hearing all about it!!!!
  10. Wow that's awesome!
  11. I can't stand Pelosi, but yea Trump won't win anything in CA. Better get a new game plan.
  12. You can get any part for that at Becks Pacific in CA.
  13. Hi have a guy looking into it. I’ll let y’all know what I learn.
  14. I actually replaced the latch and the first one I installed worked for awhile and then failed, it is under warranty so they send me another one and same issue. There’s something else wrong but I’m not sure what yet.
  15. Hi all, So my the buckle on my driver's side seatbelt was flickering the light. If I pushed it in it would go off, for awhile, then it the light would eventually come back on. It got tot he point where the light would only go off if I pushed the seatbelt into the buckle, full-time. I purchased a new Mopar part from ebay, they are not cheap. Replaced it and it worked as expected. Them my truck sat for about 6 weeks. On the first trip out the overpriced new buckle started doing the same thing the old one was doing. The good news the part has a 2 year warrantee, and they sent me a replacement. The bad news, the replacement is doing exactly the same thing. The seatbelt indicator light is on, The indicator light only goes off when I push and hold seatbelt into the buckle. It is possible that I just got 2 bad parts? Or is there's something else I should be looking at? Any thoughts or suggestions on possible other causes would be most appreciated.

To me it’s all about anthropology.

All of the “news” is owned by about 6 corporations. All of the news is scripted “journalist” are actors. My 2 cents. I 100% agree that all of social media is censored and moderated.
  19. Cool I’m heading out for a few days. I will be interested in learning about that. I’m going go for best mpg so every bit helps.
  20. Got the beasty out on the highway today for a few hour run. All good. It runs better than it has since I purchased it. Better than it has since I've owned it. The cracked manifold must have been contributing to the black smoke, becuase there's basically no smoke any more. The turbo appears to be acting like it should. I used to get over boost errors if I kept my foot in it too long with the boost up, but that's no happening any more. Next thing is the Quad.
  21. To me it’s all part of the fun of learning. I’m also not trying to break stuff lol
  22. So for it seems like my theory is sound. Truck is working better than ever and virtually no smoke, of any flavor, coming out while driving. Seems all is well. So now for more fun, now to set up the Quadzilla. And then at some point I'll get the upgrade turbo when I get that one back from DAP and be able to do a scientific caparison, all things being equal and measurable, except the turbo. Let the good times roll!!!
