Indoor Quadzilla Monitor
I have my quad sitting on the bench. Had to change my exhaust manifold and getting that part took many weeks. Also the turbo took forever to get with all the right parts on it. That Quad will go in soon. Thanks for sharing this trick. And I may relocate that unit as well. Seems like a good idea somehow. I have a little shelf in my cab at the top of the windshield for my I can probably get it up there for the best range.

What about anti seize? Would this be a good time for that, or just go dry?

Exhaust Manifold Question
After 3 long weeks it looks like my replacement exhaust manifold has finally landed. I found this but just wanted to be sure this is correct for installation torque and bolting sequence.

COVID blues
Will do. No doubt things are a mess right now. I have myself set up here. I go out only for fresh foods items. All other shopping is being delivered and I let the packages sit for a day or 2 before I even open them. I refuse to allow myself to get this thing, if possible. Even if I have to go over the top a bit about it. Better safe than sorry.

It's definitely around and I'm a hermit up on my mountain top to keep myself safe from it.

Sorry to hear things are getting so wild where you are. My Dr's office had to close down for a week. Things are crazy in Los Angeles right now. I know a bunch of people who have had it or have had their work places temporarily close becuase someone had it there. I won't even do any grocery shopping in LA right now. I go out to Ojai for groceries where my dad lives. Doing nearly all my work from home these days.

From Edge EZ to Quadzilla is there anything I need to know?
Thanks yea it's good as it is but a bit fun to get on. No serious kinks so I think this should work just fine. This is going to be my backup turbo, once I get the Borg Warner, so no need to get too crazy with it. Cool part. Didn't see it on Tomtop.com. Perhaps it's unobtainium.

From Edge EZ to Quadzilla is there anything I need to know?
I believe what is installed is the old EZ Boost Fooler this is one being sold on etrailer for the kit which looks like the one I have: According to the specs "The included brass elbow permits turbo boost pressures of greater than 20 psi without the wastegate opening." So @Mopar1973Man makes sense when he said "Your old Edge EZ boost fooler you can keep its good for 35 to 38 PSI of boost with the Quadzilla. More than enough for what you doing." Since my turbo is still on the bench I'll pull that elbow and clean it just to make sure it's not clogged up. ---------------- I believe that @NIsaacs is correct that the stock bend is more like 60 degrees which makes sense because the hose is barely able to fit in my location with a 90 degree bend. This picture shows the factory crimp clamps. There was one of these on the actuator end of the hose the clamp on the elbow end was an adjustable clamp.

Mike said those adjustable elbows are fussy. I think @IBMobile my have found a cool one one made in China that perhaps he'll tell us about. @Mopar1973Man said he eithe was or has used that one. I agree learning the Quad will be a bit easier than learning Unix ;-) I've got to start somewhere.

Thanks I'm not sure if that elbow to the waste-gate is stock or one that had been put in with the Edge (prior owner). Can you tell if it's stock?

From Edge EZ to Quadzilla is there anything I need to know?
When I purchased the truck in 2017 it was named The Dragon becuase I drove it home from Kingman AZ to Los Angeles blowing a massive amount of coal all the way home. Little by little I found mostly all of the causes of the smoke. There were many of them. The truck had a Power Edge EZ which was manufactured in 07-29-2002 I suspected that it could be contributing to the smoke issue and it was. I took it out and cut the smoke down about 30% At that tie I had exactly zero knowledge of tuners. I'm now about to learn about them, particularly the recommended Quadzilla. The description of the Power Edge EZ is as follows: The Power Edge EZ Device consists of an electronic module which enhances fuel flow at medium and high load engine conditions, and a brass elbow which is designed to delay the wastage opening during boost conditions. The electronic module is plugged into the can-bus data port and the MAP sensor's wiring harness, which are both located in the vehicles engine compartment. The power Edge eZ comes with three user adjustments jumpers that vary the settings from slightly modified to very responsive. Upon reading this I just realized that there is a brass elbow by the waste gate. Should I change this part back to stock? Would this be causing an issue? If so what should be there? I'm getting ready to install a Quadzilla and it occurred to me that the old Power Edge EX may have left some data in the ECM?

I'm with you @DoubletroubleI need to take the ground zero M73M class as well where do I sign up? I'm with you. I just got the Quad tuner, now to put it in and figure it out. That's the rub.- My Turbo has reached it's end-of-life. --> What are my options?
Yea I have a couple of different ways to address that. First lime of defence is a costume to hide the box. If the guy I think will overlook that catches it is i know guy ;-). A girl's gota do what a girl's gota do. Thanks for letting us know about that bug @Mopar1973Man- My Turbo has reached it's end-of-life. --> What are my options?
Still waiting on that part. They are built to order. I should get it sometime in November fingers crossed. I want to have a working spare on the shelf just in case so I'm working on rebuilding of the HX35W this weekend. If all goes well with the rebuild, I'll put that in and test it and get the Quad in so I can see what my nearly stock set up yields. I have the Bosh RV275 Injectors. That'll give me a baseline so when I put the new Turbo in I'll know what changed from nearly stock. I got a Quad so I can put the sensor in while the tubo is out. Sounds like more fun than drilling and tapping on a running engine. I'll probably upgrade the Bosh RV275 later to maximize the new turbo but they are only a year old so I'll keep them for a bit. I can probably run a +75hp injector with the new turbo rather than the +40 hp ones I have now.- Tire Inflation Formula
