High Idle
$18 ain't bad, for a few shots. I got their cylinder leakdown tester too but, I can't remember how much I paid for the thing.

Yea, that sucks. That's one thing you've gotta watch out for, is those freakin' Honda thieves. Around where I live, when Fast & Furious came out not to long after, Civic's and Integra's were getting stolen left and right. They made an attempt at stealing mine 3 times but, were unfortunate as I had an aftermarket alarm installed, put a lockbar on the steering wheel, and always took the ECU out with me. You can still see where they were able to get a slim jim in and brake my window after the alarm went off. But, they were able to cut my 4-2-1 bolt-on headers off... and not unbolt it... (these are the smart thieves).I was in the process of trying to get a Lojack installed when the engine gave out on me so, she just marinates in my garage now.

Troubleshooting dead end on dead pedal. Apologize for a long thread in advance
All that trouble just for that... I probably would have torched the thing by the time I had figured everything out.So, I started thinking about the initial problem, which was a dead pedal, correct? After having replaced the APPS sensor and going through calibration, you then ran into a brake light and ABS issue after disconnecting the PCM harness and batteries. How was the ABS sensor able to go bad during all this process from the beginning of this thread till now?Just doesn't make sense.

High Idle
LOL Yeah, it was great meeting someone off the site. Always nice putting a face with a name. Awesome guy though... oh, oh, and awesome truck. I liked his very much. He also told me to get a fuel pressure gauge to monitor the lift pump from Harbor Freight, which I'm considering doing in the meantime while I save up for a pillar mount gauge. Finances won't allow me to do so right now . --- Update to the previous post... You didn't learn anything from Ryan?... LOL.

High Idle
I got a chance to meet up with stodg73 and upload the High Idle feature on my truck today after work. Thanks for helping me save $90 that the stealership would have charged, your bada** man! I can't wait to see how it works.Again, I would have bought the breakfast if time wasn't an issue, and I apolagize for the long wait. :)Thanks again, I appreciate it very much!

Looking at the GS-R you posted, brings me back memories of when I was building my B16A from the ground up... cylinder head and VTEC solenoid just sit in the garage and collect dust now.

Finished my Fooler
If I were to enable this feature, is there a waiting period before I start moving?Sorry, I'd just like to inform myself on pros and cons of the feature.

Finished my Fooler
Will you be able to do this? Are there any drawbacks in enabling the high idle feature? As far as when it comes on and off and having no control over that?

Oil Change
Okay, I'm confused...Is the Cummins Fleetguard filter the same as the Stratapore, or are they 2 different filters?Or, is the word "Stratapore" an upgrade?
-
front axle u joints
I see. I won't argue that.

Finished my Fooler
Would I need to go to Dodge or Cummins for them to throw the software on my ECM?

I thought there was never such thing as "over greasing"? --- Update to the previous post... The more grease, the better... is what I've been told.

When you don't have a truck available!
What am I looking at?

3,000 or 7,500
I've got a couple questions then... Is this the toilet paper filter everyone is talking about? If so, do they supply you with the filtering medium? How many miles do you have left till you hit your mark? And... What do you expect to see at 500,000 miles with the Frantz filter?
-
3,000 or 7,500
I can see why you would have added a frantz filter to your system. But I, where I don't drive in any dirt roads and only pavement, don't see a reason to add one, other than the fact that it's another filter in the lube gallery. I'm sure its very nice to have though. How has it worked out for you?
-
3,000 or 7,500
I didn't know the manufacturer stated 7,500 miles until I read it, but I thought that seemed a little long, seeing as how I've done oil changes on cars every 3,000 or shortly after that mark. But, that's all I've ever known. After what I've read, I wouldn't want to do an oil change below the value specified. After all it's the manufacturers recommendation. Everyone has different intervals they do their oil change at. But I think the way the engine is driven, how often, and stuff like that plays a big role in when to change it.

Glad to hear you found out what the cause was. Right on!How did you confirm your ECM was bad?
