BHAF installation pics
Looks very nice, I strapped mine as well. I also used the Outer Wear cover. It's been on 1.5 yr only thing I do is wash the cover every other oil change the filter looks the same as when I took it out of the box. You/ll love the better air flow of the bigger filter.

Track bar repair question
I put the lukes link on 1 year ago. just had to adjust. i would have liked to buy new track bar, but didn't have the money. i have been happy with lukes link and will use them till i can afford the 3rd gen track bar. also i used lukes for the tie rod ends as well.

Heated mirrors
I found the heated electric tow mirros on E-bay. they fit my 01 but had to buy the brackets so they would fit. would not trade them for love or money, flip up adjust with switch.

CLuster Issue Help!!
About a month ago pulled cluster to reroute egt wiring, while cluster was out turned key on to test a light. Put everything back together and got same code. Cleared code with ScangaugeII light went away. Try clearing code then see what happens.

Iagree cleaner is better. I installed a BHAF 2 mo ago. I have not notice any difference, but I know that the engine is breathing better.

Map light fix?
I had same problem. I kept nlooking at picknpull finialy found same overhead counsel bought it for 10.00 took out map light and put it in mine. has worked every since. dealer wanted bir bucks for new one. --- Update to the previous post... glad you got it fixed. when mine broke i found overhead at picknpull took one out and put in mine. now that i've seen the write up that looks a lot better.

Front Axle vacuum diagram/operation
look at Geno'sgarage.com they have a 4wd drive 2wd switch 110.00 I have one and I love the thing.

:hyper:Thanks Mike for the link. Just got one installed with cover for prescreen. Awsome deal. Looks great in ther truck. Glad to finally get the K n N out of truck so buddies will quit ribbing me about it. Question do you know/think Ca. smog will have a problem with it.

Got my new MAP installed. Since I don't have boost gauge:banghead: I just have to go by the scangauge which shows 13.8 at idle 23.6 at WOT. Maybe it's just me but truck feels like it is running better. Boost gauge is my next wish list item. Thanks for all the help on this site.

Well that's a bummer.:banghead: Yesterday the scangauge was showing 14.3 at idle and 23.6 at WOT. Here I was thinking MAP was working. Looks like I will have to buy a boost gauge after all:duh:

I would like to update everyone on map problem, BUT UPS screwedup and didn't delevery my new one yet:banghead: so will update when ups lets me have my order. Truck runs fine just Scangauge reads only 8.5# of boost. It stopped throwing the code so thats a good thing.

EGT probe location
I put mine on top of steering column. Although I like yours better, at times during day can't read gauge due to bright sunlight. When I get a little spare time:lol: I will move to the same as yours. Glad I could pass some help back to this great forum and repay some for the help I have recieved.

ISX here's how I changed mine. Push set button, use > button to move blinking number to far right, use up button to change 0 to 1. gauge should read 0001. Push set button, gauge should read AH1 push set button gauge should read 900. Use > and up button to change to temp you want. I also changed lower limit to 1000. This is change under AH2. I can send copy of instructions if needed.

ISX The paperwork that came with my gauge says that you can hook up a buzzer to that relay that will sound off at the preset temp along with the lite. The wiring diagram shows to hook up + to terminal #1 and- to terminal #5 if you want a buzzer. On mine changed alarm set point to 1100 since I reach 900 just getting to stop sign 1/2 mile from house. Of course comes right back to 400 quickly. I really like knowing when truck gets to 300 or under to shut off.

:hyper:Thanks to all replies. Drilled and tapped last nite. Wasn't to hard, had a little trouble tapping until I realized drilled hole was to small. Drilled 1 size larger tapped out just fine. I got the didigal gauge like ISX it is a great gauge. Thanks again for all the help.:)

Ok got an egt now need to know 1 best location for probe. 2 if best location is exhaust manifold is it hard to drill and tap? From looking at the post here it seems pre trubo is best.

Hey that would be great. Here in N. Cal 88.00. Mine is the flat oblong 3 wire. If you know anyone wants a boost fooler from BD I have one can't use it is round 3 wire.

Thanks Mike checked codes per your site. Found 5.0 volts on orange wire. Scangauge goes only ti 8.5 psi on boost. Then trows the 0237 code. Looks like I will be buying new MAP.

After reading some post on this site it seems I have low boost sensor voltage. Is replacing MAP the only cure. I tried cleaning, didn't find much on sensor. Sorry forgot to add truck seems to be running find. the only reason I looked for code was got new ScanGague today and it found the code.

ScangaugeII an OBDII
Having read a lot of your post where you use the Scangauge II, I am ready to buy one. Now I see the post for Ultr-gauge. Do you like [recommend one over the other]? I ask since ther is a big difference in price. After reading up on both there seems to be little difference. Unless I missed something.
