  1. Doesn't lag, works great but from what i have heard everyone has to poke at the menu a bunch, me included. Did it on my phone also. Had to Google how to put play store on it but it was pretty easy.
  2. Got 1 wheel blasted, primed with self etching primer and painted. Decided to go cheap with spray cans. They will all have spots you can see where the chrome was flaky and this is a low buck effort. The steel wheels on the truck now got hit with brake cleaner and a rag then sprayed with the same paint about a year ago and its held up pretty good. Sure these will have dust and dog hair in them just like the steels but its a truck not a show car.
  3. @Steve31 Kendle fire 5th gen here in a homemade mount. Works great just had to load play store on it.
  4. With the Durango alt and the mopar1973man high idle switch I'd think you'd be good to go. Set the idle up and go. Thats what i did about a week ago with all 3 compressors running when i changed a front wheel bearing on my bosses Durango on the street in front of his house. Worked great.
  5. Don't know i never tested it. Can tell you it's not enough to charge when the grid heater kicks on and the Durango alt will. It made a huge difference on my truck.
  6. @AH64ID just looked at the Coopers. Nice tire but they dont make it in 265/70-17.
  7. @Bullet used red loctite. I had started getting a small belt chirp over the last few weeks. Its gone with the pulley swap but i know i need a belt. Old one is is oil soaked from all the old oil leaks
  8. With all the stuff going on at work i was never able to load test the alt at 2000 rpm with the stock pulley. Went ahead and swapped ford pulley on today. I don't think i would use the Dodge nut on this even with loctite. Black pulley is Dodge, gold ford. Top alt 136A stock pulley, bottom 160A ford pulley. When or if things get better at work I'll load test with the new pulley but it probably won't be anytime soon.
  9. I have a buddy that can get about any tire for great prices. I got 4 265/75-16 bfg's for $440. Only reason for new tires is 17" wheels. Figure it can't hurt to get some opinions on what to go with. Anyone running these? https://www.falkentire.com/tires/light-truck-suv-cuv-tires/wildpeaka/t3w-tire
  10. @dave110 which Yoko's do you have?
  11. I'm running BF Goodrich All Terrain TA K02's right now and they seem to do pretty good other than having to rotate them every 2500 miles. I've heard there are better tires for these heavy Dodges like the Toyo or Yokohama but i haven't run anything else. I'll be buying 265/70-17 load range E. What are you guys using? What to stay away from? Would like to stay with a similar tread pattern.
  12. Added a switched outlet for my lights and shop vac. Light is a 24" or so 12 volt led light bar from Amazon ($15) i never used and a flood light socket from lowes($3). Found a 3 amp 12 volt converter in the shop that runs it fine. Just set it on the glass and held it in place with coat hangers. Light bar is much brighter and easier than socket. Made a cover for the vacuum port and duct taped the holes in the door that collected media. Its not pretty but it now works great. If you want a blast cabinet and dont mind doing a few modifications you really cant beat this thing. Just caulk it up when putting it together.
  13. Wasn't able to get a data log. Couldn't send it from my tablet and forgot what i did to connect my phone. 343 miles, mostly interstate with 1 20 minute trip up a mountain road and back plus 1 trip to work and halfway home. Got 17.718 mpg running 70-75. Guess its not doing as bad as i thought it was. Running around Pigeon Forge i got better mpg than here at home. Didn't expect that.
  14. @Mopar1973Man 5000 ish. Ill get a data log on the run home. Its the best ive gotten yet.
  15. 180xxx rv275. Everything is in my sig
  16. Took the mighty Dodge on its first road trip today. Over 249 miles, in rain with lots of 65-45 braking for the first 90 miles i got 16.57 mpg. After the rain cleared we got free of traffic and had cruise set at 70-75 most times. Tried to data log but couldn't, I'll have that fixed for the return trip. I will get some data and hope some people here can help me with a tune.
  17. @Doubletrouble I can help you start.
  18. The Quad and the others are ok for gauges but its hard to beat a quality gauge set. They tend to be more accurate than something that reads a factory sensor. I like them for back up gauges and recently my Quad alerted me to a dying MAP sensor. I prefer Autometer and have the Cobalts in this truck. Easiest gauge i found to read day or night if that makes sense. If you want an Isspro EV2 fuel pressure gauge i have one used i need to sell.
  19. Got the pedal working and remade the dust collector. Ignore the nastiness in the buckets, i was trying a wet trap and didnt clean it up yet. Can't find the light fixtures i had so might have to buy more later.
  20. 12:00 am. Couldn't sleep so back out to the garage. Got the sump feed made. Tried it out and it feeds much smoother than with a siphon tube. This thing will move some media now.
  21. No where near painting. Im getting ready to make some changes to the cabinet. Foot switch from Amazon($17), lighting(free), homemade dust collector(parts from lowes about $20 and a free shop vac), media pickup(free w/stuff in garage), and caulk this thing up. Still raining here and have to wait on my painter so might as well work on the cabinet. It works good on rusty cast parts but needs some work for the chrome on the wheels. The peeling areas are hanging on better than expected. This is why i did not want chrome wheels but for the price i guess they were worth it. Maybe. When I'm done the cabinet should work really well for less than $200, excluding media. Already have a guy at work wanting to pay to get some steel wheels blasted. Few jobs like that and its paid for. Pics to follow as i can.
  22. @Threadzy got it thanks. Actually had those saved in my cart already. Let me know what you think of them after a month or so please.
  23. @Threadzy do you have a link for those?
  24. @IBMobile not really sure the size compressor. Its homemade, used it for 20 years now. Belt drive compressor, maybe a 3 hp motor and 2 old upright tanks i found. Only thing I've had to replace since i built it is the motor. Was 110v now 220v. I do have a good filter/plumbing thing going, i never get water in my lines.
