  1. How are things on Hoth? We need a picture.
  2. Hey, if it makes you feel better im working for the next three weekends and this is my first time hunting in 4 years! [Forrest gump]Duck gumbo, fried duck, grilled duck, duck creole, popcorn duck, ... (much later) coconut duck, peking duck... and i think thats about it. [Forrest gump]
  3. Still praying for you guys. Im happy to hear your Vol FD training helps.
  4. Day 2. 29 min into the day, limited out.
  5. Opening day. Hunted an hour and worked with the dog after. One wigeon, one redhead, and a shoveler.
  6. Nice, thats cool. I attached a graph of the smarty s03 and edge tuners graphs. Just kidding. Theres no graph.
  7. Add more timing till tylers head pops. Thrn back it off a little.
  8. The trigger for this is that my converter is hunting. I dont think its my alternator, as its a new mechman and i dont see any significant ac coming from it. I wired the alternator field to a switch, to try to deactivate the alternator while driving. Not unexpected, the hunting doesnt change when the alternator is not charging. What is really odd, is that my trans shifts, locks up, and hunts with the alternator field (green wire) disconnected. I am going to keep investigating. @Dynamic , or anyone else, is there a brief description of what the trans relay does? I cant find it in my chrysler manuals or online.
  9. Is it too late to ask for our money back from that beer college?
  10. Kind of an obscure question, as I was looking at the wiring diagram for my truck. (see link) @Dynamic If you have any input here... I would appreciate it. I am trying to figure out why the trans relay is in line with the alternator field. If you look at the PCM on the left side, about mid way down you will see a GEN FIELD DRV, in dark green. This field runs 100hz AC to the alternator from the PCM causing it to charge. Lower you will see a GEN FIELD OUT, returning from the alternator to the transmission relay. Why would they do this? Why not run the signal for the trans relay directly to the relay? Why allow the non steady state voltage regulator to control the relay? This seems like it should be simple and I am missing something.
  11. 12 valve static timing as a jump off point?
  12. Per smarty a new license is 150 bucks.
  13. Seems low. These trucks csn be cranky with low voltage coming from the batteries.
  14. The newest ones are near 10 years old. Finding one that's clean with low miles with good options is real tough around me
  15. Do yoo know it's an injector leaking or an o ring? I like ny current setup of getting the majority of fuel from injectors rather than a wire tap. However, it isnt adjustable.
  16. If it were me... id shop for a unicorn 3rd gen or jump to 2012.
  17. Leaking within limits is a thing. Haha. Ours arent bad, but it happens.
  18. Fortunate. Your seals must have been put in right. I recently saw two separate aircraft propellers start leaking pretty good from being out of service for a few months. They were fine when flown regularly, but not after a 4 month period of sitting static.
  19. Having been a former rocky mountain oilfield worker, i have seen stock pickups, suvs, and 18 wheelers get into some amazing places. Jeeps are cool. My truck isnt a jeep and will never be.
  20. I cant find a gauge... as for the filter, found this? http://www.lonestaraviation.com/100-Amp-Filter.html
