  1. Will do. Ohm test between the ground and brake terminal at the 7 terminal connector. If it doesn't show a short or open circuit, then put 12 volts to the system, go to each wheel and listen for a hum. The hum is the electromagnet working. I use a booster battery with jumper wires for this. Be careful doing this. One of the guys we camp with did this to his fiver. It is up so high that he has a wood box as an extra step to get to the first step of the fiver's stairs.
  2. Did you check the members' map? You can stop off at Yellowstone NP on the way out. Do these trips while you can because when you get older health issues will put an end to them. I was planning a trip to New England but the cost of the toll roads, I-80 I-90 I-95, for a truck pulling a 2 axle trailer was a deal breaker. I'm trying to talk my wife into another road trip to Iowa then may be on to Wisconsin and Michigan when fuel prices drop.
  3. Some people are just insecure and prefer the anonymity a good face diaper gives. If they are wearing designer face diapers, then it's a fashion statement.
  4. From The Epoch Times December 15-20, 2021: "Unlike conventional vacccines that provide immunity, COVID vaccines merely reduces symptom severity." From The Epoch Times December 15-20, 2021: "A study published in the Nov. 8, 2021, edition of the journal Circulation noted "dramatic changes" in the heart and blood vessels following a COVID-19 vaccine."
  5. Those signs were put up after Sonny Bono skied there.
  6. You can just disconnect it at the left battery.
  7. I heard that there are some challenging ski runs in Iowa.
  8. A "backer plate" for a radiator is found in the same area of the parts bin with the engine "throssell rods" and "muffler bearings". They are also sold on Ebay.
  9. With any glue you want to have temps in the 60's or higher for best set.
  10. Like @Threadzysaid: clean, dry, glue, dune. When mine came loose I used what we call in the industry "gorilla snot" AKA 3M™ Yellow Super Weatherstrip and Gasket Adhesive #08001.
  11. Is it the same codes? How does it run with the Quadzilla disconnected? Can you get any live data via the OBD port?
  12. You may have a bad grid heater relay that's stuck closed. There are two of them, one for each grid heater, located on the left inner fender below the battery. Test by disconnecting the grid heater relays' ground wire, black with yellow tracers, this will the relays from turning on. Next, with thew bypass switched on, turn the ignition switch to on. Test for voltage at the grid heaters; there should be no none. If there is voltage to a grid heater, then that relay is bad.
  13. It sounds like the on/off wire from the switch got attached to one of the grid heater relays. This is the way it should be installed with the power on/off wire from the switch only going to the relay terminal marked with an S. https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/electrical/grid-heater-bypass-simplified-r662/
  14. I wrote two ways to control the grid heaters; Grid Heater Bypass and Grid Heater Bypass Simplified. Which one did you use?
  15. Get £60 more if you paint them?
  16. Are you looking for the bracket with the rubber bushing in side it like this? Found at Rockauto.
  17. Be careful. In the parts look up the diesel shows only one radiator, part #52030191AB. The gas engine section shows one without cooling line fittings and three with the fittings; all with different part numbers than the diesel radiator.
  18. Kelly Blue Book is just a guide and not the Bible of what a vehicle is worth. Like now, when the cost of fuel goes up no one wants a gas guzzler. I remember with the last OPEC oil embargo, 1979-1980, you couldn't give a new Cadilac away but the Blue Book said they were thousands Everyone wanted one of those little Japanese cars; Datsuns and Toyotas. I saw it twice, new Caddys on the side of the road burning most likely for the insurance money. Then there are vehicles on the show room floor that sell for more than the monroney label. So, a vehicle is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
  19. It's not winter yet. Eleven more days to go. Sunny and warm...stay away, don't come here. It doesn't snow at my house.
  20. Why not, people here in the states, collect and drive the British Hilman vans. There not cool like a V12 XKE or a Jenson-Healey but as we say in the car biz "there's an a$$ for every seat". My work vehicle is a 1990 Astro van EXT van, 4.3L, auto and has over 350K miles on it. Since the van is all most 32 years old, I'm driving a classic.
  21. You need @JAG1there to help. A carpenter that also does reroofs on RV's.
