  1. I rode a 70 Honda cb350, a 1971 Kawasaki 350 Enduro, and my last bike was a 1974 Triumph Bonneville. In 1976 I almost got hit three times in two weeks. My wife "suggested" that I sell the bike. I haven't ridden since.
  2. I've been a mechanic for over 50 years and owned my repair shop for 28 years and when a customer declines repair work there is a reason. They might not have the funds for the repair, or they found someone to do it "cheaper", or they are getting rid of the car and don't want to put anymore into it. Either way I don't care, not my car not my problem, and my car runs fine. Do something you enjoy and make a living from it. If it's a government job, local state fed, all the better because of the benefit package. A friend of mine just left the Volvo dealership for a mechanic job, with a great benefit package, in the city of Carlsbad, CA. They hired him because of his training and experience in electric vehicles.
  3. Power flow: battery positive to solenoid to grid heater relays to grid heater. The switch you installed controls the solenoid for battery power to flow to the grid heater relays. The grid heater relays have to be energized by the ECM for power to flow to the grid heaters. If power is flowing all the time to the grid heaters with the switch on and the engine off, then a grid heater relay is stuck on. Or did the grid heaters get connected to the solenoid by passing the grid heater relays?
  4. Here are a few. Blue Angel seems to be a common name. https://www.dnb.com/business-directory/company-profiles.blue_angel_transport_llc.8804abd9c7915efcfedb36586cdb42c9.html https://www.quicktransportsolutions.com/truckingcompany/california/blue-angel-transport-inc-usdot-2858618.php https://www.truckdrivingjobs.com/companies/56d03e5678b25140c2d84f00 https://www.uship.com/service-provider/334152770-blue-angel-transportation-llc
  5. This video might help and save you some money too.
  6. I had extra cable and lugs from an amp installation, so I joined the two negative posts together. It took less than 15 minutes. No harm, no foul and maybe a benefit later on.
  7. Yes, some are bad out of the box. https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/articles.html/24-valve-2nd-generation_50/51_engine/electrical/denso-alternator-diodes-and-brush-pack-replacement-r537/?tab=comments#comment-39
  8. P0230 is the ECM not seeing the lift pump power draw at terminals 15 and 35, not a problem. P0254, P0370, and P1690 are all codes for a VP44 injection pump failing.
  9. Did you mean 64 KB and not MB. I edit mine down, on a laptop, to around 150 KB before posting.
  10. This should help you. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=2000+dodge+ram+overhead+console+removal The release tabs on mine broke so I used two small Sheetmetal screws to secure it. The switch and plugs for the video screen of the rear view out of my 5th wheel is located in the overhead.
  11. Yes, the wiper parking switch is in the motor. With the hood up and under the black plastic cowl.
  12. Put a jump in that course and now it's in the X-Games. Olympics...NOT ONE MIUTE!
  13. It would go down into the oil pan. It might get sucked up to the oil screen on the oil pump pickup.
  14. Had the same thing happen to me when replacing Turbos on Volvos. Sometimes the hole would be round and other times rectangle. So long as the bolt holes line up, and the center hole is large enough for good oil flow use what you bought.
  15. NOT ONE MINUTE
  16. It's 65°F right now (9 AM) sunny and still no snow.
  17. Idaho street sign
  18. Here are a few videos about HX35 rebuild. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=hx35+rebuild
  19. With all that "coke" deposit at the waste gate opening, don't know how good of a seal it had.
  20. When the factory lift pump died, I took it apart to see what was in it. Pump head with filter screen
  21. What do you have to lose? Clean the area with brake clean and a toothbrush before applying. I have used JB weld on an intake manifold that was leaking coolant. It fixed the problem.
  22. Clear, 72°F, with 4.1magnitude earthquake 20 miles from the house.
  23. Just having my breakfast in shorts and short sleeve shirt with the patio door open, sunny and 71°F. Still no snow.
