  1. Put a jump in that course and now it's in the X-Games. Olympics...NOT ONE MIUTE!
  2. It would go down into the oil pan. It might get sucked up to the oil screen on the oil pump pickup.
  3. Had the same thing happen to me when replacing Turbos on Volvos. Sometimes the hole would be round and other times rectangle. So long as the bolt holes line up, and the center hole is large enough for good oil flow use what you bought.
  4. NOT ONE MINUTE
  5. It's 65°F right now (9 AM) sunny and still no snow.
  6. Idaho street sign
  7. Here are a few videos about HX35 rebuild. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=hx35+rebuild
  8. With all that "coke" deposit at the waste gate opening, don't know how good of a seal it had.
  9. When the factory lift pump died, I took it apart to see what was in it. Pump head with filter screen
  10. What do you have to lose? Clean the area with brake clean and a toothbrush before applying. I have used JB weld on an intake manifold that was leaking coolant. It fixed the problem.
  11. Clear, 72°F, with 4.1magnitude earthquake 20 miles from the house.
  12. Just having my breakfast in shorts and short sleeve shirt with the patio door open, sunny and 71°F. Still no snow.
  13. Yes. The power flows from fuse #4 to the flasher timer/relay, to the hazard portion of the CS (combined switch). The power then flows around the left/right turn part in the CS to power the 4 turn signal blub wires. When using the left/right switch if no power is flowing to those wires, then the CS is bad.
  14. FNG

WELCOME We were all FNGs once
  15. I've run 4 and 6cyl pushrod engines with the valve cover off and used shop towels over them to keep the oil from spraying everywhere. You can use old rages to do the same thing, lifting one at a time for inspection. Another thing you might want to do is remove the fanbelt, so you're not worried about getting caught in it or the fan and there is no wind being generated to disrupt the rags that are laid down. A short engine run with it off will not hurt anything.
  16. Same problem Volvo diesel cars had in the early '80s', air leak at the fuel filter banjo fitting for the fuel line to the injection pump. We'd replace the copper washers and no more hard start problem.
  17. That sure can do it. Plug the drain hose off first and see what happens. It may be a cheap easy fix.
  18. Is this the Scottish 500? North Coast 500 | VisitScotland https://www.visitscotland.com/see-do/tours/driving-road-trips/north-coast-500/
  19. Try this, remove the hose from the wastegate actuator, block off the hose, and take the truck out and do a few hard launches. You should see 28-30PSI. If still low boost, then waste gate problem, if good boost then problem with boost elbow.
  20. That's great! Looking forward to you and your in-laws joining us; the more the better. We usually go the middle of the second week in May and leave Thursday of the following week. We'll get a firm date sometime at the end February or the first part of March.
  21. I bring an old garden hose for that and do it at night.
  22. Not this time of year if your dry camping. Dry camping is pretty much open that time of year. IF you want hook ups then yes there is a problem. There are only 43 of them and they are all taken the 1st day they're open. All camp sites are dirt and uneven and not well marked. We pull up into a group near a water spigot so we can refill our freshwater tank anytime. We bring 2 boats, a 14' and 16", with us so no problem getting out on the lake. Some time we bring the boats down to the Bridgeport reservoir and try our luck there. There is a free shotting range in Bridgeport that we go to for a day and everyone is welcome to come.
  23. The Mondeo is known as the Fusion in the US. From 1994 to 2013 the models sold in the UK and US were not the same. From 2014 till now they look the same except the driver's position.
