One of my best Buds from central Illinois has come across 2 floaters (dead bodies) while setting up trot lines for catfish!!! He gets into a lot of backwater areas on the Sangamon River and such. IIRC, both were "dumped" bodies............drugs and or other illegal stuff involved.The cops commandeered his boat on the first one after he reported it!! He said, they didn't even "bag" it when they put in on the bow of his boat!!!! The second time, he said no way, and kept his distance from the dock so they couldn't get into his boat.....................they then got their own boat, and he showed them where the body was!!!Always, always, always protect yourself.

Don't the APPS auto-magically calibrate themselves every time the truck is started on 3rd gens???I replaced mine on my '04.5 a couple years ago, and did nothing to it...........but the APPS on mine is under the drivers side battery tray...............yours is in the bell shaped housing in front of the intake horn.

And this is the case usually............especially with an '03-04. My Bud puts a "not normal" amount of miles on his truck and found this out earlier than most. He's got 340,000+ on his '03 now. I believe the injectors are improved/different in the '04.5+ models. I've got 181,000+ on the OEM injectors now on my '04.5.

Haven't there been some threads here recently about Raptors pumps failing............especially after the company was bought out??? Not arguing, just asking.

Burned tires???? "Splain please!!!

Working at one of my accounts today, one of the Amigos told me the farm manager OKed me to cut and haul firewood off the farm!!!! Lalo, the amigo, showed me the first tree they'd like removed..............it's a monster white oak, with about a 36-40 inch truck that fell last year during the drought/heat wave. That tree alone is probably 3-4 cords of wood at least!! It also took out a few 10-12" maples in the process. Looks like I'm gonna be set with wood for a while. Gonna start cutting and hauling on Sunday!!! Should probably get a new chain or 3 also!!

It's been so cold around here the last 2 days, I've actually seen Liberals with their hands in their own pockets.

No "woman wood" for you, hey??!!! The first wood I procured last year about this time, I split into "woman wood" splits...........so I knew it'd be dry. Later wood procurements I split into larger pieces.

Woke up to -6*F at the house this AM. Needless to say, it's too cold to shoe horses today!!! Anyhow Michael, almost all the diesel I buy around here is bio-blended. One pump sticker I see says 5-11%bio...............and another says it may contain up to 20% bio. So it's variable diesel around here. The various companies are probably formulating it based on the price of both the dino diesel and the bio-diesel to maximize profit. Oops.....I said a bad word according to the guy in the White House. Minnesota mandates 2% bio in all diesel sold up there. Gets pretty cold there, and I've not ever heard of a rash of gelling there. I've never had a gelling problem around here since the bio-diesel started coming out. Now my truck is garage kept over night usually, but I've driven hundreds of miles straight in below 0*F weather without issues with bio.............and my truck has sat outside for as long as 10 hours in -15*F.............the only additive being my 16oz of 2 stroke. They must be adding something or changing the chemical make up of the bio to keep it from gelling.

Do you have an adjustable track-bar????? And seeing it's a 6 inch lift, a "drop down" bracket/mount for it????Is it a true lift, like Kore, and not something like a leveling kit???? The leveling kits/blocks shift the axle out toward the drivers side so that the front and rear tires don't track in line. I often call leveling kits, "Death Wobble Starter Kits"!!Fill out your signature so that we know what's on your truck.

What brand of tires?? BF Goodrich AT's seem to be on many DW trucks. What kind of shocks, and how old??Do you still have OEM ball joints, tie rods ends???? Not a good combo with your setup.Do you have adjustable control arms?? If so, max out the camber I believe.

MMO is not one of Mikes recommended additives. It actually performs quite poorly as a lubricant. It's essentially "Stoddard solvent" IIRC. Not good for CP3's, injectors or LP's.
