  1. Speaking of, New York state is the first state to receive a restriction of an AWB from recent events. I suppose the American people will get to see what the first fire fight will be like when someone does not give up their guns to the Feds.
  2. Seen it before. Good video as always. Those poor Aussie's. At the end they talk about the govt. taking their rights away. Like hell, that will go over like a pregnant pole vaulter.FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS!
  3. The only water it would hold with an argument about geenhouse gasses and global warming, Oh, I'm sorry, "climate change", is the offset in carbon emissions. The above statement is true, but I think the only ground they have to stand on is that we are offseting the balance of amount of carbon in the air than compared to the amount that would be in the air if we did not have things that converted the compound molecules to their own atomic structure. They argue about this when they talk about carbon neutrality. They say they only want things used for power that use things currently, like biodiesel. Becaue the biodiesel is not taken from the ground where its been banked from "millions" of years ago. The other argument about wildfires is just like I said about the carbon neutrality. Its not derived from a million year old source but from the current carbon in the environment. Here is a GREAT argument against people who say we are losing our ozone... Deriving from a source so I can prove my statement: http://askville.amazon.com/lightning-strike-Earth/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=3738117 So with the given data above, 44 flashes a second, we then also come to this conclusion: http://www.envronozone.com/science/ozone_science.htm So when you say you trust in God and what hes doing, you could not be any more SPOT on! My fathers friend is a consultant for oil companies and used to work for BP. I think he said BP was looking at getting the truckers to use LPG for fuel as they said they have found a HUGE reserve of it. Idea may not even happen though. Will be a good thing to have though as I would love to supplement my truck.
  4. No sir. But if a person can't stop reading a book and they are from being a bookworm like me, then it has to be something of value.Although, as contrary as it may be, I at first had high respect for Lincoln. Then when I learned a little more, which may not be factual at all, I have become a little more washy on him. Just some things I have been told by some old timers...
  5. I guess I'm not so crazy after all... I thought I must have been losing my mind on how I think.
  6. ...been cut a few times by glass. Nothing major, but have heard of some horror stories! Heres more! approx. 5'x10' and about 375lbs. Heres my boss using the powercup to lift the unit and setting it into place. Could not start doing video until I helped him get it in the air.
  7. Eh, I've never heard about this Govt. relig, section. - - - Updated - - - Okay, got it figured out. Cool deal! I like the sections!
  8. The law is unconstitutional, therefore it is null and void!
  9. ISX, I know you value wisdom as much as I do. Take some time and give this a watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A75KERKwEQM http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=A75KERKwEQM As for my , I say get your butt out of college, get a paying job, get your debt under control and learn somthing while your getting paid. Our generation is in such a bad spot that college is not the answer.
  10. Who dun whut to my thread? I cannot even view it? What'd I do?
  11. If your nt a New Yorkan and/or have not found out already as an firearms owner, NY has passed their own restrictive gun legislation. BUT, behold! There may be a partial answer to our problem in the horizon! answer
  12. A guy I worked with at the last glass company I worked with earned the name Booger. When he used to do the high rises in Denver, he did not have any wax to run his screw. So he blew his nose on it for lubricant! Thanks, we've got more work lined up too. Hoping it will be just as interesting, just not as stressful, lol. Yep, all exterior glass is an insulated unit. I have not done any bullet resistant glass, yet. I know its HEAVY though, lol. Here is some food for thought: - An insulated unit that has two pieces of glass 1/4" thick without any coatings weighs on average 7.5lbs per sq/ft! Bullet resistant glass? HMMPPPH! Neo-ceramic is pretty heavy stuff too for how thick it is. I've got some video and pics for more eye candy, too, but I do'nt have my card reader with me at the moment.
  13. NO kidding! I would do the first one, but NOT the second! Sheesh, almost hit a dog doing all that!
  14. Gamble, I can agree with where you are coming from. BUT, Alex knew that Piers Morgan was not going to give him a chance to do anything. If Alex stopped talking, Piers would have made sure to dominate it and turn it against him. The appearance was moot from the get go. So I'm sure Alex just said what he felt he had to say, as he probably knew its going to be the only time he will ever be on a show again.

  16. I have not. Although, I have bumped into the frames we have been installing, or the brick or iron. I usually get alot more careful when it comes to being with the glass. We even use this: http://www.powrgrip.com/cgi-bin/powrgrip/MRT49DC.html?page_class=glass to set the glass from the boom lift. Its a little sketchy using it fully extended as the controls get touchy. Yea, we have an 85' on this jobsite and fully extended those controls can make your butthole pucker real quick. The worst thing is doing this all in wind gusts of 30-40mph. ...a mans gotta work, I guess. Maybe I can pull some video for you next time we use the power unit to set some glass. OR maybe when we use the lift to set the 600lb. mullions again.
  17. So this is what a Glazier does! http://spokane.wsu.edu/services/Facilities/buildings/biomedicalAndHealthSciences.html http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2012/oct/17/positive-diagnosis/ http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2012/oct/17/positive-diagnosis/?photos ^I'm the fat one in the front. Boss' dodge dually 12v pulling a 35ft gooseneck. Hauling 14 mullions each weighing approx. 600lbs. This is the parking lake... My truck...
  18. No, because those are too small. I didn't think about grainger. I ended up picking up a small 4" metal wire desktop fan. It was like $9 and the only place that even had a single stinking fan small enough in this town! I pretty much have it finished. Got 2 more trays to build and it will be done! I'll post up some pics when I can.
  19. Yep. This morning I had ice on the inside of my windshield. After work, and running around after as well. I think its got to do with any humidity in the cab from anything you may have in there and the perspiration from a person.
  20. You should also be able to take a DMM and put it on the continuity setting and test at the prongs for an open circuit.
  21. Crank pulley is inside the timing cover. No need to pull. Although, harmonic balancer does need to be pulled. 4 bolts. Hardest thing is to get the bolts to break loose. Impact gun, or barring tool on the flywheel. 2 methods I have done are: 1. Use a 1/2" drive ratchet and position it so when you turn the ratchet it does not cause the crankshaft to spin as you turn. 2. If you have a helper, remove the inspection cover on the transmission and use a prybar to hold the flywheel from spinning. Then you can brake the bolts loose. BTW, the balancer is not keyed. Check the alignment marks on the balancer though and make sure they line up. If they are offset from each other, you need to replace the balancer.
  22. I have '99 and I DO have the KDP. It was among one of the first fixes I did to the truck. I think mine was sticking out a bit cause when I did my tab, it had to bend when I tightened up the bolt.I did my own tab and ground it out from a fender washer at the hardware store...Also, I have 53 block, too.. So far so good!
  23. The guy at radioshack recommended this route.. Conferring with my pops, I might just return the fan and then take the money and buy a small fan from wal-mart. Like an 8" fan or something and then rheostat it to fine tune the speed. Then I could use a small 3-way to plug them both in and from there go to one plug. Or maybe instead of a 3-way, use a powerbar.
  24. Making a food dehydrator and I decided on using a hot plate and a pc fan for heating and air movement. My problem is that I cannot just wire in the PC fan to the hot plate and plug it all in. Any ideas to get the pc fan to work with the hot plate with one plug? Was at radioshack and the guy suggested an adapter. But then I use two plugs instead of one, and the plug woud be another $20-30.
