What is a auto ecm? Is that where you cycle the key and a code number shows on the dash instrument cluster? I have a '99 so dont know how that works

I have a Isspro mechanical with a islator. 10-12 years been working perfect, never a leak , Mechanical is the way to go. I dont trust way over complicated electronics and computer

I was thinking main lead fuse box too. There is a ground wire too ,probably go neg. battery for now Your relay, I looked at that location on my truck. Looks like a exposed metal area. Did you drill a hole and sheet metal screw it ? .

Notlimah, Did you hook your two wires to the battery or elsewhere. to avoid corrosion ? I hope I have enough fuel line, fass shorted me one foot. Supposed to be 17' I got 16'

Yes , I like the shift kit. Shift kits are a upgrade, and do more than beef up shift quality and higher line pressure, it also addresses many of the problems that lead to early transmission failure .

I've found a good place to mount my Fass titanium relay on my '99 and rout the harness in the engine bay. Mocking things up. Was curious where others mounted your fass relay switch and ran your harness on your 2nd gen

Its a stock TC, Original truck owner had it rebuilt at the dealer under warranty and then sold the truck to me years ago. So tranny was fresh when I got it and put a "shift kit" in it

Fun at the Tranny Shop... I Stopped by my friend's tranny shop , I used to work for his dad when it was his shop, retired He just happened to be finishing up a 2000 dodge ram 2500 4x4 tranny on the bench and finishing the valve body shift kit and installing the valve body. He showed me the Torque converter going in it. All Ill tell ya is its a billet single disc converter, from a local performance TC building shop. He says He has been doing quiet a few Dodge cummins trannys lately My next upgrade is my tranny, Though I put a shift kit in it and it runs great, My weak point is my TC that needs upgrading

The computer (ECM) has a delay before it boots up. The WTS light goes on when the power boots up I had the same issue for a few years. It got worse and worse. I finally got a new Reman ECM.... Fixed it I also rebuilt and tested my alternator before I got a new ECM. May alternator had bad diodes. Dont mess with you key and ignition on off etc. The ignition switch is not the problem... Just turn it on, leave it alone, and wait for the WTS light to boot on, then crank and it'll fire right up.

I called Fass to see if they would send me the correct fitting and the guy that was answering their calls that day denied that it was wrong and was a jerk. Maybe a new guy working their I should call again and ask for one of the owners? Is Matt one of the owners? . .

Yes, Fass puts a Wrong fitting in their kit. I hear that they know Its wrong. Its for when they used 3/8" fuel line before they started using 1/2". Why dont they correct that ? :D . .

Pro Fab looks good too. The owner is a welder fabricator. Some of the other companies looks like they are just parts sellers and farm out the fabrication to who knows what chinese or mexico company

what year truck? My '99 dont have no stinking front speed sensors or front ABS junk . .

I didnt want to post a response, cause I dont see any crack or break either Who makes sells the BEST track bar bracket or set up for non lifted '99 these days.? I was just looking at the DOR(dodge offroad) bracket I guess someday I will have to upgrade mine
