I should ask.... What is supposed to happen when you have a good ECM when you turn the key to 'ON'.... Its been so long I dont even know any more Key to 'ON'.... what dash lights should go on immediately and what else should happen immediately? Lift pump immediately? Is there a sequence of events, dash lights that go on first, then others, or in a sequence? .

O rileys gets crappy Cordone rebuilt ECMs, . and they are not programed to your Vin# And I was told they dont have them for Cummins dodges anyway.. And I would not buy Cardone anyway

What crappy brand did you buy,? so I know not to buy those Someone must sell a good housing that has a good 'beam' .

Those are real nice head lights and PIAAs I need to do something with mine. Im not sure what the best housing to get, either single bulbs or sport housings that throw a good beam.

Yes, I will let everyone know "if it works"........... where I bought it, etc etc.... Yes, it is the ECM on the side of the engine.... I've heard so many horror stories about this. I did alot of research. I will tell you, its not from florida Ive been having the, ignition on, delayed boot up, for 4 or five years, and it was getting longer delays. . . .

I have the Isspro mechanical fuel gauge with the isolator Its been working great for many years .

I watched a couple youtube vids on "high idle 3cyl" One guy drilled 4 holes in his dashboard and put 4 toggle switches in to mess with it

Excuse my ignorance,,,, But what is the purpose of "high idle" I've read about "high idle" before many times.... One of those things I havent a clue why you want or need a high idle or a switch or where the idea came from, or its purpose ?

I ment HIDs I called retro shop and they answered most of my rookie light questions Im not sure where the LEDs as headlights fit in.

I'm trying to follow these light threads, but alittle confused what is what.. Is this a Aftermarket HID headlight housing, or a stock housing home made modified for HID? If its aftermarket , what brand? Link?

The Alt/Starter motor shop guy that tested my alt.,months ago,actually tested the diodes pack its self. It had one bad diode I just tested my rebuilt alt with new diode pack and brushes with my Fluke meter,,, Cold motor in the AM just fired up ,,, It is .029 - .03 ish Good to go for my "new" ECM when it gets here .
