Sac or vco

Thinking about dropping to a 7x10 style injector instead of changing turbo should I go sac vco or dap sells a 7x10 sac for a decent price

Well a guy offered me a set of 7x10 vcos for my 200 ddps I'm assuming they would spool my 63 and be a better daily driving injector

Sooooo a builder and I were talking yesterday. He has gone back to vco nozzles. Vcos actually flow more fuel. Wet flow with the needle installed.

Talking to DAP i remember them saying the opposite. I was told the SAC flow more and that basically a 150hp flowed like a 190hp injector.

I have flow sheets from the builder I use that says otherwise.

Same here the SAC +75 HP (7x0.0085) flowed like +90 HP because of the pintle mods that have been done. Of course, DAP (Jacob) told me this as well.

Haven't heard of them, where are they out of?

 

I've been thinking of seeing if Haley Speed Innovations makes some more mild injectors compared to what they typically put out. Never heard anything bad about them and they're somewhat local.

Oh ok, definitely heard of them then. Do they do 'normal' injectors? Like 7x.010's? Their website starts at 6x.011's I think and just goes crazy from there haha

6 or 5 hole are what he does. A 6x.011" would be similar to a 7x.010"

@jlbayes gotcha! So how does the 6 vs 7 hole compare to each other in the 'cleaner burning' category?

I know my old 8 hole injectors from po when I got the truck were somewhere in 75 to 90 hp range and they were pretty clean comparing to my 60hp from dap. But started to miss fire and now running 60s but had other ones gone through and thinking about putting them in some day, just hate to mess with a good thing right now. Truck seems to run good and no leaks on lines, had Hurd time stopping them from leaking last time, so I think I'll keep them in for a while longer.
