I am thinking about picking up some injectors.  Anyone have experience with DAP Aftermarket injectors? Here's what I'm looking at. Obviously I'm looking for a lower cost Injectors, I have stock now.  I'm running a 150gph pump, turbo upgrade is after the injectors.

Set of 6 Diesel Auto Power 125HP Aftermarket Performance Injectors for Dodge 24 valve Cummins. 7 hole (0.0095 inch holes) SAC style. Compatible for years 1998.5-2002. Installation kit included: (Injector connecting tube removal tool/nut, copper sealing washers, and o-rings for connector tube). new copper washers

For just a bit more you can get some brand new RV275’s spec’d up to 7x.0085’s from Weston at Infinite Performance and IMO that’s about as good as it gets.

SavageTusk, whats your drivetrain?  Stock or modified?  You dont have your sig filled out.

Hey KATOOM,  I think my signature should be updated now.  My drivetrain is stock except for the GM Transmission Governor Pressure solenoid conversion.

You thinking a performance transmission valve body and a deep sump will?  It should hold around 400-450 rwhp..?  Trying not to jump into a performance trans just yet..

Unfortunately you're going to have to...  But just imagine what you'll be able to do after you have one.

Agree, I have this reoccurring thought.  Sitting at 220000 on my diesel.  Runs like a top, no rust, clean inside with sound dampening throughout and nice performance mods.. Downside? 2wd.  Just wondering if I go to the top with a stage 3 tranny OR sell it. And get a 4wd then beef it up.  ?  Idk, tough decision.

I would agree. I do not use my 4wd often, but when you need it, it is good to have.

Could just buy a second!

That would be ideal. I do like this truck.  I'll have to get the Mrs. on board with a tranny upgrade... Cough<repair>cough ??

I did alot of research before buying injectors. I went with Sac 7x.009 from ducky fuel injection.

I'm not entirely sure why anyone would recommend vco injectors guess I didnt do enough research.

Mine have been in for about 6 years 2 years on stock 47re.

The last 4ish  years  they have been on 47re I had a local tranny guy build with all the good stuff. Tranny has no issues with injectors and programmer turned all the way up. And can break into the 20s mpg running empty
