These showed up yesterday, I’ll drop em in sometime over the next few days and see how they do. Haven’t seen or talked to anyone who’s tried them yet.

Truck is an 02 but i put an 01 motor in. Runs great in stock form but the problem is i hooked my Adrenaline back up and when the data link portion is plugged in and you rev the truck up it spits sputters and blows blue smoke, unplugged it runs normal kinda lost dont know if the box is messed up or what but it worked perfect before the last motor gave out and it reads voltage egts and fuel pressure fine but it also dosent read boost anymore which i think could be a hint as to what isnt making a connection??? i cant fo…

Not sure where this post is supposed to go, but I can't seem to get a transmission temp reading from my quad. It only says 100°. I have attached a photo of how I have it installed. Wafer, ring terminal, washer, lock washer, and nut right? I don't think u can really mess it up but what am I missing? I need a new wafer now because I broke mine... Any help is appreciated.

So it came in the other day and im going to get around to installing it soon. I have all manual gauges, so Im missing out on a lot of cool gadgets I guess. I read the quadzilla instructions and pretty much got that, what is the Iquad going to do besides download other tunes? In other words what is it going to do for the quadzilla? I read the instructions but I will have to re read them Im sure several more times. Just asking questions to basically put it together in my head. Excuse me but im old school, dual point distributors were high tech in my day.

So I've been getting familiar with it a little, its still greek to me. I havent tapped the vp yet, just trying to see what to monitor. Went to youtube and saw a setting that had 9 different things in a square box with a lot of info on it. Im running an Iphone and maybe its on on it because of that I dont know. But cant seem to there from here. Anyone know what Im trying to explain that can tell me what to do to get it on my phone?

Drove the truck it's fine, get in it the next day and the settings won't sync to my phone nor will it load a tune that I've used before. Only had it like 3 weeks and already giving me problems 🤬

I was installing a edge comp today and according to the edge website you must disconnect the neg batteries.. I forgot that part so it tripes a few codes no big deal.. But did it do anything else that i need to fix.. I cleared the codes and the code number was p 0743, p 1765, and p 1693.. Would it of caused any harm to the chip? or the truck? Thanks

Will the apps off a auto work on a standard? And are the injectors out of a auto the same as in a standard? Both are 01 SO motors.

I am assuming you can't pull the vp and the vaccum out at the same time?

So I have a cracked #53 block in my truck. I have found a number of sites that claim the crack can be repaired by stiching it. Sounds like a bad idea to me. What do you guys think about this? Maybe if the truck would never be modded. But I plan on making 500-600hp. Are 12 valve and 24 valve blocks compatible in any way? Would a motor out of a 02 work in my 99? Im just trying to save a few bucks. I have a complete 99 engine lined up for $1100. But it will need a rebuild costing me another $4000. I also found a complete engine out of a 02 with only 94,000 miles on it for $3200. I was told some engines have cam and crank sensors. While others only have a crank sensor. Can I…

  14. This is the 1st time I have used the Donaldson oil filter (ELF 7349). I am using it with Rotella 15w/40 synthetic. I plan to run it 10,000 miles before changing. Is that too long? I use my truck for normal driving but sometimes tow a 35ft 5th wheel, mostly flat country on the Ms. gulf coast. Tx in advance.

Hello, So I went to run an errand with my 01 earlier after washing it and it fell on its face while driving down my street. Had a random speed sensor code that I cleared, but it wouldn't shut off even with the key pulled. I'm assuming it's the VP but I'm trying to find different opinions on the matter. I let it sit for 30 minutes and started it back up no problem. Everything came back to life. Turned it off again and re started it 20 minutes later and everything is fine. The pump is barely 2 years old and I'm reading 15 psi on my FASS. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, I'm doing the w-t ground mod and I'm a little stumped on the alternator charge wire. Maybe it was explained somewhere but I'm just not seeing or overlooking? So, we unhook the original charge cable from alternator and pdc and then just have a short cable from alternator to passenger side battery with a fuse/breaker inline? Question; so no cable gets connected back to the pdc? Why go to the trouble of disconnecting it at pdc and completely removing it? Just cut it and leave it? Am I missing a step? Thanks for any help on clearing this up!

So I know Quad and other tuners stretch the injection solenoid pulse width by some microseconds like 1500 or 1700. At what RPM? Or is that the max at any speed. This is how they get around the Vp can bus internal max fuel delivery limit. Why not in degrees instead of microseconds? Example 1500 microseconds at 1000 rpm is 1000/60 = 16.7 RPS 16.7 x 360 = 6000 degrees per second 6000/ 1000000 = .006 degrees per microsecond .006 x 1500 uS = 9 degrees @ 1000 rpm At 3000 RPM the same 1500 uS = 27 degrees. Is it explained somewhere ?

  19. So now that I got my RV275s in and tapped the pump I have been running on level 3X3 to save my auto. The other day I started watching the EGTs and empty going up a bit of a grade I stomped it and my EGTs came up to 1200, thats the highest I have ever seen the gauge go but never had pump tapped and only ran on level 1 before. My boost was around 30ish and I was going about 75-80mph in a hurry. I have noticed since the RV275s that the EGTs seem to climb higher before the boost starts to come on. It will hit 800-900 and barely have any boost building. Does that seem normal? What level do you guys tow on? My trailer is a 30 footer and 9800lbs. I don't think I have a boost…

How did you make the template for cutting your air blocker in your grill? I plan on trying to use some leftover laminate I have, but want to cut a template for it first so I don't waste too much of it. Also, how did you secure the metal road sign pieces to the grill. It looks like the pieces are on the front of the grill. Is this correct? Thanks.
