I had high speed (50 mph or >) power loss when accelerating.....it surged or cut out. I replaced the pressure sensor. I now have a whine at turbo spool up.It doesn't seem to surge as much. I rigged a pressure tester and checked for intercooler leaks. Can't find any major leaks just a few small bubbles around one clamp. What could cause turbo whine with high speed power loss. The turbo blades are clean and feel tight...no wobble. Fuel clean, fuel pressure good. Ideas, or suggestions appreciated!

So I'm thinking I am going to go with the AirDogII 165. My question is doI need any kind of draw straw in the tank? And I'm also looking for a A-piller gauge mount with a hole for the speaker, and all the suff I need for an electric fuel pressure gauge and the gauge. I think I'm just going to order the pump right from Pure Flow but if anyone knows a place to order the gauge and pod please let me know.

Evening all, I've been searching and trying things for awhile now, and still no luck. Long story.. I have a 99 24v 5.9l that I have swapped to a brand new rebuilt ppump from Scheid diesel, new Crazy Carls kit, with 0.093 lines and DFI SAC 7x0.010 injectors. air dog 4g 165, new sump. Initially I bought the ppump from a guy that needed to be rebuilt, but i installed the pump and was able to get the truck running. but then the Rack was sticking so i sent it out. Since i got it back I haven't been able to get the truck to run, 3 of the new fuel lines weren't seating properly so they were replaced. I bought a used Airdog 100, but replaced it wit…

well its been awhile since i have had to come on her fro help. but here i am. i noticed about a month ago my truck was idling a little high every now and then when i would have it in park. yesterday it got worse. i came to a stop on the off ramp and it liked loped. it went from 700 down to like 300 rpm a couple times at stop. i looked at my fuel pressure gauge and it was steady so it was getting fuel . i put it in N and it was idling at 900 to 1000. i drove to my bank and tried resetting my throttle by turning it the engine off and turning the key back on and pushing the gas peddle down slow and letting it back up slow. it didn't lope anymore but it was still idling at 10…

Hi there, I am fairly new to the diesel world and was looking for some help. I have a 1999 3500 dually 4x4, manual, 5" exhaust, bhaf, Edge Juice with Attitude CTS, Southbend Clutch, and a airdog. I tow a 10,000 pound fifth wheel with the truck, and it performs ok but It will never break 22 pounds of boost. It has all new turbo hoses and clamps and a boost elbow and has been boost leak checked. It runs right up to 22 pounds and stops. I have great fuel pressure, but it feels like the truck is stopping the boost from going any higher. I have also set all of the settings on the edge so that it would max out boost at 37 pounds. What am i missing? I had plans to upgrad…

The vacuum pump is so hard to RxR I feel a need to inform all of a glitch I found in the Cummins Forum pictorial and instructions. The seal directions and picture of the seal coming out are WRONG! They show and explain that the dust seal side of the seal faces the vac pump. The cummins instructions say that the spring side of the seal should face the vac pump. The spring side of the seal always faces the area to be sealed.

I was looking on your site to find the fix for the fuel leak on the back of a 24v head, which I did find and it was very well written and I found the info I needed and I appreciate the excellent write up. One thing I do not understand is the fuel line going to the back of the head. Please excuse my ignorance but what exactly is the purpose for that line? I'm sure you cant block it off but I was curious about what its purpose is.

A little while ago my exhaust brake (BD remote mount) started to work intermittently. It seems that when I first turn my truck on, if I flip the switch at idle it works normally, but after driving around for half hour or so, at an idle the exhaust brake will only engage sometimes. It also seems like if I'm driving and coming to a stop the exhaust brake will engage, then as the RPMs get close to an idle, it will cut out. If I down shift and the RPS go up again, it will engage again, then cut out as I get close to an idle. It didn't do this before. I can hear the switch under the dash click as it tells the brake to go off or on, so I know its not the physical workings …

First I will share I have a new lift pump and TPPS and crank sensor. this truck has the modifyed relay installed a few years ago. Today I had time so I put a test light to the Red and Green wire key on power source for the FP relay and also powers the VP 44 pump as far as I understand. When the engine is cycling off the power to the red/green wire goes away. there are no codes present at this time Adding short video. I'll add its a 1999 2500 with auto Thanks for any help.

Does anyone know of a set of airbags that will work on a 99 2500 4wd that mount over the axle not the leaf springs (so I can keep my over loads) and they need to work with a goose neck or fifth wheel mount.

Ok some I am replacing my quadzilla adrenaline programer with an Edge CTS and seems to be pretty easy till I got to the transmission oil temperature sensor its telling me on the instructions that to tap one of the sides of the transmission do I really need to do this or just leave it off . The other thing that I remember is that my quadzilla had the same sensor and the instructions said to place it on top of the oil filter does any body have any thoughts on this matter ??

I'll be working alone with full tank on this new to me truck I just bought. It has an in tank pump that I need change to frame mounted Raptor 150, also changing to 1/2'' draw and fuel lines. I want to tilt the bed to get at everything. Is it best to raise the driver side or raise the front like a dump bed? If I raise the front it looks like it might hit the cab before it goes high enough so should I tilt bed sideways instead? Thanks in advance.

I may or may not have asked about this before. I searched but didn't find anything so here we go. My truck is a 2001 3500. Is this KDP I've read about an issue or was it resolved before my truck was built? I have a mechanic at work (trucking comoany) that says I need to tear into the front of the engine and put a tab washer on the bolt closest to this pin to stop it from backing out. I have read about it quite a bit and got no definitive answer as to whether or not they fixed the issue by '01 model year. Any input? Thanks all! Also, sorry if this has been discussed before, maybe I don't know how to use the search correctly.
