@Mopar1973Man @Me78569 @Quadzilla Marco @Quadzilla Power Replaced both fenders this weekend so i had a lot of crap pulled loose. Quad set on default tune level 3. This morning on interstate truck wont go over 2000 rpm, wont build over 8 psi boost, feels like a complete dog. Power level bar was green then turned red after warm-up. Noticed power level bar go yellow a couple times while driving. Switched to power level 0 and truck drove normal. Checked all settings, changed tunes, switched back to default and still is a pig. Can't data log with my tablet. Couldn't get quad to connect to my phone to data log. Any ideas on what i screwed up?

Hey folks, I'll be going thru some of the various wiring problems im having with my '00 2500 cummins here this weekend, and I want to get a head start on diagnosis / get my mind right on it. First problem, I've got the p0113 code and replaced my iat sensor which unfortunately did not solve the problem. on my scan tool, the temperature reads -40 degrees. I have NO KNOWN symtoms, even though I do have the code. This points to it being a problem in the wiring and not with the actual temps. There's an aftermarket (afe) air intake on the truck that the previous owner installed Second problem, my engine coolant temp sensor is not reading, pi…

I ordered a BHAF from DAP and it came on Thursday. Been busy running back and forth all week. I've always been basing the filter change on the filter minder that I typically always just drilled a hole and stuffed the grommet in and the filter minder. I'm going to walk away from that method and start moving over to yearly changes of the air filter. I can't say right now if there any impact in MPG numbers or not but you sure can hear the turbo whine now compared to with the old filter. I'll keep you all posted.

I found an oil leak a week ago or so. The bolts around the oil filter adapter/cooler were a touch loose. Today I removed the oil filter to gain access and checked them all. A few of them I got a 1/4 turn on till tight. I know they should be torqued but I don't own an inch/lb wrench.......yet. I took pics before and after.....

Try to keep this short but its in depth. Little over a year ago vp was going out so got one from DAP, fixed for 3-4 months. Then slight surging started, best way to describe is like a trailer with half load of water. It only did it when cold, warm eng and never noticed it. Time goes by and its getting worse so send it back to DAP and they put a new board on top. Fixed, 3-4 months go by same thing again. Sent it in they test it say everything checks good, install and its getting worse. All this time it wont throw a code, its now completely dying for a split second when cold and still wont throw a code. I can set cruise control and Im pretty certain its not doing it or its…

  9. I did my pedal bushings which made a great improvement side to side but I still have fore and aft play in the clutch of at least an inch. Thoughts?

My profile explains everything. I am a “diesel dummy” but need a little help to finish diagnosing. I want to check the harness from the ECM to the injector pump. I see where it connects to the injection pump then the harness goes into a main loomed harness. I have probably over looked the ECM but where is it so I can check the connector and pins. Any pictures would be a great help. Thanks

  11. Needed new hose for the fass due to the rubber cracking. Right now I have it plumbed into the vp without an issue. For those who’ve added the factory filter into the route, what size fittings did you need to do that, Both in and out of the filter housing. I’ll be using pushloc fittings with this also. I’d like to add it in to get the WIF light, because why not have it.

A quick question... I'm installing the Frantz filter (under the truck on the rear of the front crossmember, upside down) and I'm wondering what is the best way to push the hose onto the barbed connectors. What have you guys done to make the easier?

Will the engine wiring harness from a 01' 3500 2wd manual transmission work on a 01' 3500 2wd automatic transmission. If so is there any modifications that need to be made. Thanks in advance

  14. hello ... for several days it gives me the p0222 code but it did not cause a fault that I felt driving, I did not use the truck for a week and yesterday when I started it it made like 8 injection cuts in a row and very strong and then the engine was turned off I just started it several times but he did the same and the throttle does not respond and the only code he gives is the P0222, I am very worried I don't know what it will be. thanks for your help. Got the high idle switch installed and was wondering about using it in MPG mode with the XZT. I read that in MPG mode the high idle switch alters timing. So does the XZT when its in the 65 hp setting. Any problems using the 2 together?

Pump has failed due to in tank pump. I'm in process of rebuilding a lot on this new to me truck. Back when I replaced all the old stock stuff on my old truck I went with the Bluechip pump and have had no problems at all for a good 10 years now. Just checking the opinions out there on who may have the best pump for the money or what are your thoughts. Thanks

Well I figured on retiring my old grand Cherokee because it burns so much oil and the rear bushings are shot. So that left my truck or my 1971 lincoln to drive, since the car is mint, that leaves the truck. Still don't have the ECM done but I can do all the gauges myself with my CCD bus done. Truck runs good even with stock injectors my transmission is going to hate me. I blew the exhaust apart and muffler is trashed from dragging. I replaced the AC compressor, lines, accumulator, flush vac and fill works great now. I replaced the starter twice now. Sometimes things were screeching and squeaking, thought it was alternator s…

Just browsing YouTube and came across some differential cover development videos from Banks. With the amount of damaged differentials I've rebuilt and replaced over the years that had fancy heatsink differential covers. I've long suspected that the aftermarket covers effected the oil flow within the housing which causes lubrication issues for the pinion bearings and wheel ends. Moral of the story for me is the after market aluminum heatsink differential covers are R.I.C.E. (Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements) and do nothing positive for performance so those who have them are no different than the Honda Civic boy that has the park bench spoiler on the trunk th…

Haven’t checked with Quadzilla on this but anyone else experience some iQuad display issues, specifically with some stray numbers showing up? See pics below of the number 80 in the engine load square and 30 shows up in the same location in the default gauge display. This is a mini Apple iOS tablet. Anyone else have this issue? Not a big deal but thought I’d ask.
