Mike if this is against the rules to post about this vehicle please delete. I have started doing all the maintenance on my parents vehicles and the Sienna has a bad pull to the left. What causes this? I have checked fronwheel bearing play but nothing. Stuck calipers? Thanks!

I thought I would share my experience with my driver's seat cushion and cover. I bought both of them from Genos. The cushion is their "high density" cushion and direct replacement cover. Both were super nice quality and replacement was super simple with their directions. 4 Phillips screws for the lever and plastic trim piece, 4 bolts for the seat cushion (10mm socket and combination wrench). Hog ring pliers would have been helpful, but 2 pairs of needle nose pilliers and a pair of slip joint plies, a little bit of muscle, and done!! One thing I found was that 2 of the springs we're disconnected and that allowed the front cross rod to slide …

Hey guys, my AC went out last week and went and had it checked out and I've got a leak at the compressor and another one somewhere else but I can't remember off the top of my head where its at. Shop that looked at it quoted $1100 to fix it. Where is the best place to get an AC compessor and other AC parts for these trucks?

Had my alternator spin tested at an automotive electric specialty shop, he said the alternator tested great under all parameters. The shop stated allot of people come in with specific specs they want confirmed. My question is what exactly are the specs I should be looking for.

I recently bought a 24v and am trying to keep up with maintenance as well as possible. so i drained the water from my fuel filter and obviously lost three prime there was no solution in the manual or th parts and troubleshooting as to how to prime the motor. i tried to turn the key to the on position several times before cranking to see if it would self prime but it only continued to crank. i searched google and forums for the answer but could only find the solution of self priming. this did work for me however it took many many tries and almost an hour for my truck to start i know that the ignition process of diesel motors can cause a significant wear and tear. is ther…

Good afternoon. I’m in the process of hooking up Autometer gauges on pillar pod. I’d like the lighting to illuminate and dim with the factory gauges. What is the best way to accomplish that?

Does anybody else have a problem keeping their main doors closed on their truck while driving? When ever I hit a few bumpy patches of road or hop on the freeway my door doesn’t seem to latch all the way and wiggles creating a very noisy and annoying sound in the cab. Especially when driving long distances when I put my hand o the door I can feel it shaking back and forth I’ve replaced weather stripping on both sides of the truck and they still do it. Anybody else have this issue or an idea how to fix it?

I've just been able to get back to my truck upgrades. It's been a busy year so far. I was checking my power steering fluid level and noticed that one of my ground wires did not get hooked back up. This is the shorter small ground wire on the drivers side battery. The longer one goes to the frame. Does anyone know where this shorter cable is supposed to be bolted down?

Any reason to replace the pitman arm on a 4x4? Threads are nice and there's no play when everything is attached. I'm replacing the gear box, for the 3rd time, finally with a borgeson and figured I should just the replace the pitman arm as well. The other issue is that after upgrading to the 3rd/4th gen "T" steering, the pitman arm to drag link tie rod came out pretty easy without using a puller. I don't know if the pitman arm could wear at that connection.

I live down in South Mississippi where even on the coldest days it may drop to the 20s in the morning but by the time the sun comes up good temps rise into the upper 30s. and this is only for a few days out of the year. My reason for asking is I read on a couple articles that it can reduce egts. My egts at cruise (75mph) are around 900 degrees and of course shoot up pretty quickly if I get on the throttle at all. Will this help that come down?? I want to go with bigger injectors and Turbo in the near future just trying to save up the funds. Truck is a 2001 ecsb 2500 with a built 47re. It does have a 5inch lift and 35s on 20s which i know play a factor in the problem.…

I need to replace the rear center brake hose. When I went to take off the two lines that go from the center hose block to the calipers, the brake line started to twist. the lines and hose from the center hose to calipers are in great shape. I just need to replace the center hose. My Question, is the line from the center hose block to the caliper all one part? If this line twist apart I can just replace the hard line. and is it inverted flare or bubble at the caliper hose? I did all the other lines this past week because the one Behind the fuel tank went Two tie down straps wroked great to lower and raise the tank.

If your seatbelts are stiff or slow to retract, I found this little trick online that really helped mine out. I was constantly having to force feed my seatbelts back into the retractors and it was driving me nuts. I got some clamps, pulled my belts all the way out and used the clamps to hold them out. I filled two medium sized bowls with hot water and dawn dish soap and let the belts soak overnight. The next day I changed the water and used a brush to scrub them a bit and then did my best to dry them with a towel. I left the widows down and let the belts finish air drying for the day. When I removed the clamps the belts were slow to retract from having the springs …

Welcome to my frankentruck problems, and id like to say this is a great site, ive used a couple wiring diagrams during this build so far from here! So I bought this truck a few years ago, the headlights have always sucked, but I can get by that for now until this project is done and a bit more money is in my pockets for an upgrade in the sight division. The big thing that annoys me about these headlights, is the damn high beam indicator stays on at ALL TIMES! Whether in low or high, flash-to-pass, it stays on, only time its off is when the headlights are in DRL Now heres the kicker, its a sport truck originally, with the quad headlights, but somewhere…

I came home from work the other day to my truck in the driveway with the backup lights on.I unplugged my trailer - no short there, they stayed on. I played with my override switch and my shifter, they didn't turn off.I pull the backup light fuse and they stayed on.It seems that the hot side must be shorted to voltage somewhere after the switch on the trans. Anyone have any ideas on common bad splices or pinch points? I've got no guesses on likely areas myself, thought I'd throw it out there and see if this was any sort of "common problem" that I'd just never stumbled across.

I have a new junkyard dash core and I got a new dash top from Geno's. I know they recommend painting the top but is it really necessary? I currently have a black plastic cover and like the way it contrasts with the grey I already have. I need to repaint the core and glove box door due to some fading but was gonna stick with the grey on those parts. Has anyone left there Geno's dash top as-is?
