    Just curious if these temps are normal on a 80 degree day. Fuel Temp 103 Coolant 194 Eng. Oil 175 Air Intake 122 Thanks

    Since I installed the Airdog 100, which goes straight to the VP44, will I have a problem in the winter with no fuel heater. It gets cold here in Idaho at 4800ft, in the winter....thanks

    Was driving home and lost my power steering and brakes. Fluid spewing out of the reservoir cap. Replaced the P/S Pump, and bled the system of all the old fluid, replaced with new PS Fluid. Bled the system with the front end on jack stands, turning lock to lock over 100+ times, filling the reservoir as needed. Still no power steering and squishy brakes. All my lines are free and clear of blockage. The new P/S pump was making a *woowoowoowoo*noise with the pickup running and cap off, would go away when cap was put back on. I have ZERO leaks anywhere on the system.

    I recently went to replace my APPS due to a fault code. I replaced with a genuine Cummins APPS and I tested voltage it either shows .08 or 4.38 and nothing in between even when the screw is adjusted. I thought I had the screw in the right place and went to leave and I immediately got dead pedal. I reset the battery and backed the screw off and everything was fine except my turn signal stopped working, lighter outlet stopped and AC stopped. All AC components were replaced last year and AC was working when I was working on the truck. I have tested the high pressure and low pressure switch, relay, and fuse. I have cleaned the grounds. The compressor kicks on but no cold come…

    When the temp outside is below 40 deg or so my ABS light will stay off. I drive 50 miles to work daily. If it gets above 50 degrees or so then the ABS and Brake light will come on. Anyone have any ideas as to why this might act this way? I have replaced the rear wheel sensor but not the front wheel sensors. Thanks in advance.

    So awhile back I got a random code while priming my truck. So I went to Autozone and had them scan it because I was just getting a compainion code on the odometer. Sure enough they scanned it but somehow in the process my diagnostic port. I have been meaning to find a replacement but somewhat let it slip out of my mind till today when I bumped the connector and heard it short. Sure enough I had no radio or dome light. After a quick track down I found the IOC fuse blown in the fuse panel on the side of the dash. I decided to pull the connector off the wires the rest of the way and tape up the wires until I can find a replacement.Anyone have a part number or possible …

    what really sucks is when you have iquad and all your tunes are on a single phone the battery ends up giving up the ghost and smoking out of the power connector while you're driving down the road and u loose the tune and everything arrrge annoyed

    00 dodge 2500 24 valve 5.9 4x4 never had to use ac went to use it was inop so I figured I would replace the liquid line and accumulator and charge system so I did and no cod air checked the blend door it is working noticed the line I replaced gets cold and system seems to be operating but no cold air in the cab any help would be appreciated thank you in advance

    Voltmeter dropped off and "Check gauges" light dinged at me on the way to work yesterday. Got out the ol' voltmeter and tested the alternator-- sure enough, not charging. Just curious about which amperage the stock alternator is (napa has several listed) and if the brushes are replaceable in it or not. My Chilton manual says no, but I was suspicious that may just be to cover their hind quarters against people who have no business inside an alternator.As a side note, I was impressed with how little the batteries drained on the drive home!   13. I was leaking oil from my vacuum pump, and I just replaced the seals in my vacuum pump with the kit from Gould Gear and electric. This kit is great made the repair simple. I'm sure most of you already heard of them.

    I have a 1998 5.9l 24vlave extended cab shortened 4x4 and I need some help.... So my ABS light and my brake light both have came on my - my truck will not start I just put a new starter in it it has the edge juice with attitude programmer when I turn the key to start a on the wait to start light and everything comes on like it should then the ABS light and brake lights stay on and then if I leave it on my fuel light turns on and my feel gauge goes to empty I don't know what to check can yall help me out pleasr

    Has anyone built an on board air compressor type of a deal on their trucks? Im looking for ideas... One of the guys @ work has a bagged Toyota & he suggested some of those compressors. It looks like that might be an option..... It seems to me that there might be a belt driven option for the Cummins motor for other uses....... I could not find anything that might be a good solution.     Can someone who owns an 01, or similiar brake system, with hyro boost brakes tell me how I can bleed the ABS system. I have replaced my hydro boost and bled the the lines at the tiresbutg, they are still spongy. Is there some other place I should be bleeding the system from?? Thanks for the help!!!

Hey guys help me out here i need a lot of advise... where to start.... as the post says I inherited grandpa's cabin truck... 1995 cummins two tone beautiful truck full loaded except leather... 92700 km... don't know what that is in mile but she's low... 50k maybe? anyhow you get the point... problems... truck was in one accident front axle replaced... at dealer... the truck has been parked in a heated garage for 5 years without being started... i looked at it last week and the transfer case was leaking fluid and same with the diesel tank???? Not sure why but the housing for the diesel tank had dampness on it but i honestly couldn't tell if it was diesel... …

    Anyone know any places online that sell the little black push in type clips for holding the plastic inner fenders on? Also looking for the plastic clips that hold door panels on. Going to the dealer you get rode for them by paying a few bucks for a couple, i'd like to replace all mine with good ones
