Last year I had a blow out on my right rear tire while pulling my g/n hay trailer empty. The blow out tire tore my fender mud flap almost off. The mud flap was not damaged but the rubber piece that fits between the flap and fender was torn up. Dodge no longer has this part available so I was wondering if some one has the piece that I need. I will be happy to pay you for it. I am not able to go wrecking yard hunting. Thank you, Kerley.

Ok, yesterday I had a couple of issues, didn't want to keep running during cold start. After getting the engine warmed up and batteries totally charged, and warming up the suction screen ahead of the FASS drp, it fired right up and ran fine... I then proceeded to drive it back to my house from our shop. 1 mile. Got home and noticed a weird buzzing noise coming from under the hood, and immediately shut it down and popped the hood... the electric motor on the abs system was racing away. Even with the key off. It was starting to get warm, so I just unhooked the plug going into the motor. …

I cannot get the old rubber hose that covers the evaporater's metal lines off. The new one did not come with them. Does anybody know where I can buy some replacements or what I can use instead? Thanks.

As winter wound down last year l noticed my blend was moving real slow from ac to heat. It finally stopped moving in the spring in ac mode. I was fine with that formthe time and now winter is here again and l want some heat. Figured the actuator had failed so l broke down today and pulled it out. Opened it up and found this. Not sure it shows in the pictures but the motor contacts are not touching the electrical contacts in the box. I pulled the motor out and put a 9v battery to it and sure enough it spins. I put the motor bacK in and touched the battery to the connectors an pushed them to the motor contacts and it works just fine. Not sure why they did not do …

I was wondering if anyone has had the {death wobble} i have recently had a very bad vibration when you hit a pot hole at 45+ mph, the vibration is bad enough you can not focus on anything in front of you, it goes away when you slow down and clean your shorts!

Guys, backed out of the drive today and realized that my dash lights were not on. I just hooked up my a pillar gauges over the weekend and all of the lights were fine, now they and all other dash lights are off. I have a backup camera in my truck and was messing with the wire taps in the fuse box in the cab, but I don't know if anything is related. Since I cant go out to the truck I figured I'd ask if anyone knows where the fuse may be, so I can run out a t lunch. BTW The radio , overhead display and I believe all other lights , pwr mirrors and mirrors were working on the way in. Thanks

  10. Went to work this morning and all was fine. Started it up to come home and the ABS and Brake warning lights in the dash came on while it was just sitting there idling. Tried restarting it and they self check and go out but come back on after a few seconds of idling and this is without even moving. No related codes present other than P1687 No MIC BUS Message No CCD/J1850 messages received from the MechanicalInstrument Cluster (MIC) module. But all my gauges work I think this one came about when I installed my fuel pres gauge a few weeks ago when I pulled the dash cluster back. Any ideas? This is on my 02.

Ya I posted on the other forum too, I need a answer asap, I bought a brand new set of tires and wheels off of a 2013 dually (alcoa wheels) I want to put them on a 2001 dually. I only paid $1000 for the whole set. I want to know if anyone has done this. The alcoa wheels are thicker. The dealer said they will work with my lugnuts. My lug nut is flush with the end of the stud and the stud does not have threads on the last 1/4 inch. Is this ok? I dont want to have to change all the studs. anyone else?

I have a 2001 Dodge Cummins Quad Cab short box that I purchased new. It has 83,000 miles and for the most part, this truck has been bullet-proof. Wisconsin winters can be rough on vehicles. I try to wash my vehicle after using it in the winter. I have a car for my everyday driving. Well, being 10 yrs old, it is time to put some money into it. Couple of modifications I want to do: 1. I need a new exhaust. Want to go from the turbo back with a 4". Who makes the best one with a muffler?2. I want a bank of 3 guages on my rail, turbo pressure, trans. temp and exhaust temp, who makes best and how easy are they to hook up?3. I noticed rust under my truck when pull…

Morning folks - I have been reading for few hours on all the folks who share my issue lol. I've seen a few pics and some helpful hints but I was hoping to find a step by step DIY type thread. I need to address a water leak and replace the top of dash that is all cracked. I don't normally do my own work so was hoping somewhere there was a write-up.Does anyone know if there is one? I can't seem to find one in my searches. Thanks in advance!

Sometime this year I need to get a carpet set (mine was factory vinyl floor) and my dash is in about six pieces... Anybody buy carpet from Rock Auto? I am thinking of getting it from there.Anybody swap their dash out before? I am dreading taking that thing apart. What other stuff should I change while I have the dash out? The heater core is original, and I am planning on Dyno-Matting the crap out of the firewall, doors and floor for sound proofing.

  16. I have a Mityvac 6840 brake bleed kit that I am trying to bleed the brake system on my 2002 Ram. None of the brake bleed adapter reservoir lid adapters in the kit work. Has anyone used the Mityvac 6480 to bleed their brake system and if so, which brake bleed adapter did you use for this kit. The Dodge Ram 2nd Generation is only one of the most popular pickup trucks in American automotive history........you would think they would include the brake bleed adapter for this vehicle!!! Thanks in advance for any replies and help!

This week I installed a new heater core and with that I flushed the radiator, installed a new thermostat and radiator cap. I pulled the radiator while I had it empty to inspect it for blockages and it looks great. Before I took it apart it was starting to run a little warmer then usual especially when under a heavy load, but it never overheated.. I had suspected that the thermostat was going bad. I put 50 miles on it after flushing it and changing those parts and the temp held steady and nothing was out of the norm. Until I drove home last night. On the freeway the temp sat at around 160*. That is after it warmed up to just above 190*, then it dropped down and sat …

Is there any reason why these would not bolt up to my 1995 2500 12v 4x4? I mean the set of A/T tires alone costs $1000 these days, the newer wheels would be sharp in my opinion. https://gainesville.craigslist.org/wto/6086617428.html

One of my rear speakers quit working. Before I condemn it I would like to make sure it is not something else. I put my meter across the 2 wires and got about .5V. Part of me thinks it should be 12V and part thinks speaker voltage is variable and increases with volume. Which part of me is right? Or am I all wrong?

Got a question anOut my AC. Put some gauges on and the pressure seems ok. The problem is the clutch engages but turns slowly. Squirted it out with electric cleaner but didnt help. Do these go bad? It doesn't "snap" into engage, it just slowly starts turning. Could something else be stopping It?
