Hey. So today I was stomping on the gas a little just getting a feel for new injectors as well as the TC+VB and other stuff had done recently. Seemed pretty good - good throttle response, no slipping and really grabs in 3/4th but I get home and doing some other work - and I notice the VP44 TAP has come off. (I have a stealth plate and the wire that runs from the tap to the EDGE module has come off - basically only attached to the edge now and no longer completing the circuit to the VP44. Yet power is still really good ?? So - guessing that the edge doesn;t constantly send/receive info the vp44 ? Basically once its set on Level 5 - it stays on level 5 - and now the TAP is…

Just got my 02 back from an extensive build from a local shop. The more I read about stacking, the dumber I seem to feel. The guy that writes the MM3 tunes for my shop recommended flashing the ecm with the mm3 tunes, and then putting in an Edge comp box through the data link to be able to "full field" the injection pump. Set up in this way, do these two work together? If they do, how can I set things up (things meaning wires lol) so that I can adjust both on the fly? Currently the edge is adjustable on the fly but to change levels with the mm3 I was told I would have to disconnect the edge and use the data link, then reconnect the edge when done. Any help would be greatly…

Can someone link me a previous thread or tell me where I can get parts for MoparMan's hybrid turbo or where I can just buy the whole unit? Looking for a good upgrade. Performance upgrades I have are a BHAF, Smarty S03 (again, SORRY ), DAP 7x.009 100hp VCO injectors. Also whats the difference between VCO and SAC? All I was told is to buy VCO for the best mileage between the two and I never really learned or understood the difference. Anything helps as always. Thanks!

I heard a ford the other day that had major whistle. I've taken out the silencer cone and running a BHAF. Without going to another turbo unit, what's the next step in creating more whistle?

I treated myself to a Quadzilla and 7x10 injectors, soon to realize head studs were next to be safe. The shopping list grew again today so i figured it was time to get some help an try to keep my cost managed with less surprises. My list is Boost elbow, Boost fooler, a tablet for quad display, a fully adjustable wastegate for average of $250.00, it's a simple diaphragm that's missing the spring tension adjusting.screw and a supply line fuel pressure sending unit an snubber. I'm not sure if i need another part and i'm starting to lose some trust with the sales dept they kept my DAP t shirt and because i bought a i-quad they took my control pad out of my box, even th…

I keep debating on whether or not I want to potentially screw up a good thing by installing some injectors to help with towing a little and possibly gain a mile or two. I have no intentions of anything over 75 hp sticks and I was even thinking of keeping it simple with some RV275's. But this isn't a "which injector is best" thread. What I'm wondering is how much HP has anyone put on the OEM 5 speed clutch before it started to slip? I dont really want or have money to justify purchasing a new clutch. So for this reason I have done nothing but if I could get away with some RV275's and keep from changing the clutch then that might work for me.

Hi happy to be on this forum I got a 98.5 stock tranny just recently installed a cold air intake 4inch straight exhaust new exhaust manifold edge juice with attitude and a 95gph fass titanium I was wondering what brand and how big the injectors can be I'm in need of some injectors. I do know I need to upgrade tranny but I want to do that later. I use my dodge for daily driving and sometimes to have fun and race.

I'm moving to Eastern Idaho in the very near future and was wanting to upgrade my stock injectors for a little more "I think I can" power, for the Teton mountain range. I talked to a fellow at DAP about some 7x0.0085VCO injectors and he said I would be fine with stock HX35. But if I wanted to upgrade the turbo he suggested a Screaming Eagle 62/68/12 turbo. I've done a few web searches and all hands back his statement that I'd be fine, even running my smarty. For those of you who live in the mountains what are your opinions? I'm open to suggestions, as long as its not BD parts. I don't anticipate towing much over 8000 pounds.

This is my first post, since I found tons of great info and knowledgeable people on here figured I should join the fun. I got a 98.5 24v going to be heading on a 400 mile drive, half of the drive will include steep terrain. I would like some guidance on timing and mpg. I see lots of different mpg tunes here but do not know which is right for me. Just trying to run the most timing with minimal risk of popping the head gasket. I do not have head studs nor have I retorqued the stock bolts. Mods are quad adrenaline, rv275, cold air and 4” straight, 6” lift with 22.5 wheels and 37s (dually). Also has stock hx35, airdog, and a southbend to transfer all that extra power. If req…

This weekend i drove from LA to San Diego. Abot 135 miles one way. Before i left i filled up and reset my OHC mpg reader. When i got to my buddies place i was at 28.2. I avg about 60-65 mph. Before i went home we went to the drag strip in the mountains. About 20 miles of uphills. All together i put on 308 miles round trip. I used 1/4 of a tank. When i got back im at 27.1. Does this seem acurate?

Warmer weather's here... driving the CTD today... watching the mpg rise on the overhead (it's pretty close on my stock truck). Went from 15 to 16 today... same load of fuel. I'm figuring it for decent IAT. Last summer I nursed it up to 17.5~6 (with 4:10 gears).Russ

Well it been down right cold here today... Started my morning heading through New Meadows, ID at -2*F and travelled down to Ontario, OR for a few odds and ends supplies for back home. The average temp for the day was about +25*F roughly but then returning home and crossing New Meadows, ID again just before sunset at +12*F didn't reall get all that warm. (Brrr)...Now I will admit I high idled (6 Cylinder) to warm up the truck this morning and then kicked high idle back on anywhere we stopped keeping the truck cab warm. (Short stops). By the time we got to Ontario, OR wasn't too bad for weather so never used high idle again. IAT fooler is set at 143*F still... As for the Ed…

Hey guys, so finally had a chance to get a full tank, and drive a good amount of 99% highway driving and trying to get as accurate number as I can. Only thing I'm having an issue with is compensating for my bigger tires and my speedo not being calibrated for it. Anyone know how to do that? Here's my numbers: Trip meter = 425.8 (has 285/70/17s when speedo is set for 265/75/16s so this is biggest concern) Used 22.3 gallons of diesel Hand crunching those numbers still comes out to 19mpgs which isn't terrible but pretty sure it's a little different due to tires/speedo being off. Thanks in advance!

Topped it off today and I thought it would only be 10mpg based on how I was driving. There were several long steep hills lasting maybe 1/2-3/4 of a mile and I would hold it at 65-70. I went that fast the entire way there and back. The A/C was also on full blast for the duration of the trip. That should have yielded me about 21-22mpg unloaded. This tank was with the trailer on it the whole time, did a lot of miles around jefferson city to go shopping (sisters bday). Ended up being right at 500.6 miles at the gas station and 29.013 gallons means 17.25 mpg. Sooo I'm very amazed. The trailer only weighs about 4000 but the billboard effect really loads it down. …
