2nd Generation Dodge Reliability / Performance

Driving in to work this morning I mashed the go pedal and let her run to test the new tune. The yellow warning band showed up, so I backed off. I 'swiped up' so I could see some of the other data, and ran again. But, can't watch the tiny numbers and drive, too! Is there a quick way to figure out which parameter is throwing the warning without using Data Collection? Just swap around what gauges are shown? Shouldn't have been EGT, and "boost" was less than 25 PSI (as reported by MAP sensor - no standalone gauge yet). Quad doesn't see lift pump, and pressure was good anyway.

Felt obligated to report on the road trip up to Newark, de this past weekend I noticed engine load on the quad readout was down to 9-12% with wiretap turned on at 5% tps, versus 12-15% with wiretap off (set to come on at 45% tps). I was crusing on flat roads at sea level at 60mph much of the trip when I noticed this. It's the only variable I changed, and I did it on the fly whilst driving. Torque on tap is way up, I notice less smoke while accelerating up to speed from lights (unless I over-pedal), but it is a little more jolty if I let out of the gas too quickly. These findings could be related to my setup perhaps.

I bought the quadzilla adrenaline v-2 hooked everything up drive the truck once worked awesome! Played with a tune out it on the truck, now truck will go up to about 3,000rpm the fall on its face tried setting it back to default still the same! Checked all my connections everything is good any ideas?

I have a 1999 dodge ram 2500 with 5.9. I had purchased a quadzilla tuner and I want to use the fuel pressure monitoring with the programmer. Does anyone know a part number or where I can get a sending unit that will work with this? Also my low fuel pressure warning kit I installed stopped working. I grounded the wire that goes to the pressure switch and it lights so I know the switch is bad. I just need the switch but can only find new kits. thanks

I tried posting this in the 4K tunes spot but it wouldn’t let me choose that. I went to the track this weekend and used the hang on tune from the website. I’m really confused now cause when the truck shifted into second gear I pressed my lock up switch for the torque converter and the truck dies down and then pulls hard but it takes it a second to pull. Also at the light I was spooling up and I could not get the truck to go over 20psi without it trying to cut power back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just trying to prove that Quadzilla is the way to go.

I just received this 5/21 and I took out my edge juice with attitude that I had zero issues with. Would show boost 30+ and the truck ran great. Quad number is ADR1000 which is correct for my 99. Now my main issue is the 3 prong map sensor connector. The middle prong inside the connector appears to be damaged. I’m not sure if this would cause the issues I’m having. Okay I picked up some 7/12 injectors with large feed body’s and vco nozzles and was wondering what I need to set my can bus fueling to get these to fuel right it’s fueling way to hard

I'm asking this in light of the recent fuel price spikes. I don't mind paying extra for fuel because I didn't buy a 3500 dually for milage but, out of curiosity if a person were looking for mainly mpg gains would the quad investment be worth it? Last I looked they are fetching about $700 new. That would be a large investment for some people (me included at the moment). Thoughts? Thanks!

I just bought a quadzilla adrenaline for my 2001 dodge 24 valve. I got the WiFi for my iPhone. Everything is hooked up and plugged in correctly. I went to go and try to pair it up to my phone through the WiFi like the manual says. And nothing is popping up. Has anyone had an issue like this before? I read that sometimes the module isn’t getting power so I tested that and it’s getting power to it. It just won’t pop up on my side. Any suggestions??

I have been having alot of problems with my Quad that I bought 3 weeks ago. First I got the p0237 code. I replaced the map sensor. Then I got the p0236 code. I was checking all of the voltage to and from the Quad to see what could possibly causing my issues. Everything has proper voltage except the red/black wire going from the Quad down through the boost fooler to the map. Even on the inside, on the board, no voltage which if i remember correctly should be 5v. Would this be causing the p0236 code? If so is it fixable on my end or is it possible that I was sent a Quadzilla with a bad board?

I just bought the Quadzilla tuner with a new fuel sensor from DAP. I noticed that there's a brass valve that came with the fuel sensor, but I haven't looked at it enough to know what it's for yet. I've only ever installed and used the Edge Juice with Attitude on my Cummins pickups, so this is a totally new and foreign tuner to me. I am trying to get my tune right for my new injectors. I got some 7x9s(100hp) that we put in yesterday. I had my quad set to start at about 74% fueling. That was too low. Well long story short I got it at 100% starting and it don't smoke or haze much at all. Call me crazy but shouldn't they be a little smokey at 100%???

First off i just purchased this quadzilla adrenanline v2 from power driven diesel installed it last night and only had some connection. Im using the bluetooth device with my samsung table. When i open the app it does not allow me to make a vehicle selection i just get the demonstration selection and nothing else. The ecm voltage stays at zero. I unplugged the datalink port and it has power unplugged and plugged in to the quad via multimeter. Could the reason be im not getting signal is because i cant make a vehicle selection because there arent any options? I did get some connections like egt temp, engine load,rpm etc. I think i also killed my vp44 after running it with …

Can anyone confirm if my data link wires are spliced correctly? I spliced the wire from truck wiring yellow/blue line with the solid blue wire(B) in the quad data link harness. I then spliced the other wire from truck wiring yellow/green line with the solid green wire(A) in the quad data link harness. There was also a black wire (truck wiring side) but i did not wire that to anything. On the quad harness there was a 3 prong connector labeled A,B,C. A was solid green wire. B was solid blue wire. I've noticed when I tow my fifth wheel, or any trailer with weight to it, when the temp gauge on the quadzilla app goes past 204 it will read -40c. 5he dummy gauge on the dash is still in the normal range, and if I let off of it for just a little the temp will come back to 204° and slowly drop on down. So has anyone had this issue and if so what is the fix? Thanks

Hey guys it's me again. I am having a problem with the iquad app I'm having a hard time loading custom Tunes says variables have failed .I went on the default tune, now I cannot change levels. I have already deleted the app and reinstalled not sure where to go from here. Does anyone know how to contact quadzilla support? Phone#?

I’ve had a quadzilla on my truck since 2014, great results. But last night I went into my truck to start it, nothing no lights or anything both batteries dead, unplugged the adr then let the batteries charge overnight. Started truck, shut it off plugged my adr back in, crank no start unplugged the fuse tap and plugged it back in started but runs like crap. Unplug the ADR and runs perfectly fine. I have the iQuad and it will not come up on my WiFi connections.... when I shut off the key And pull it out my dash dummy lights stay on (Abs, CEL, low fuel, etc) I think this is why my batteries died but when I unplug the adr they all go off. Trying to get a full grasp on the quadzilla before my new injectors get here so I get it set up perfect when I get um in. I can't figure out the Max load offset. Should it lower the timing as I give it fuel based on throttle position? I looked back at my logs and when I get above my set load precent it's does drop 2 degrees below my cruise timing but starts to rise pretty quick. Is this how it's supposed to work? Also if I want it to build boost faster should I set my low psi reduct to 5. It's at 4 right now. Thanks for any help!
