I sprung a good leak in the hydro boost recently and going to do rebuild next week. Figured to redo the the brake and clutch pedal while I am at it since the clutch pedal is starting to squeak some. Anyone know where I can buy them?

Hey guys have any of you guys used the iquad app with the new iOS 14? Mine doesn’t work. It connects the WiFi. But no gauges work or can’t load tunes.

Can the quadzilla tuning on a v2 fall out of the ECM if the truck sits for a long time, battery cables got disconnected possibly, and the tablet that the tunes are on hasn't been fired up? My trucks been at a shop and I'm trying to see if the tunes may have fallen out of the ECM.

i've decided i need to wake the truck up again but would like to do it on a budget. i'd add affordable 100 or 125 hp sticks pry from dap, cpp, or fbd (i've heard mixed reviews from sdx). then keep the box turned down and take it easy til i do an aftermarket exhaust manifold and turbo upgrade. my ? is would it be worth it to take my stock turbo and turn it into an hx40/35 hybrid or should i save my $ and go with a 62/65 or something similar later down the road. i was also curious what egts i may see with the hybrid and how i would know if i'm getting into drive pressure trouble or not? truck is mostly a dd and i'm sure a clutch upgrade will be in the not too distant fu…

Has anyone ever ran into the oil pressure gage reading 40 psi all the time when the key is on? The engine not running and still reading 40 psi on the gage in the dash. Drops to 0 when the key is off, already replaced the pressure sensor and no change with issue.

My apologies for not understanding this, but when I read the following quotes, I understand them differently. If I set my pump low boost scale psi at 18 (for example) but I set my boost scaling at 20, will my fueling be maxed at 20 psi or at 38? Boost Scaling: 20-40 psi Allows you to set the point at which fueling is maximized based upon boost levels. Setting this to 20 will give you fuel fueling at 20psi, assuming tps min / and maxes are met. Boost scaling is calculated along with TPS scaling so in order to have %100 of fueling both need to be met. This setting defines the Y axis of the wiretap map, 20 psi means your map range is 0-20 psi 40 psi means …

If I wanted to build a tune around OEM timing, what would I set the maxes at??? I've been driving with my quad on lvl 0 all week and I like it but it needs a few small tweeks to be perfect, so figured I'd build a tune but then....... I realized I have no idea what the oem timing maxes are lol 😅

Felt obligated to report on the road trip up to Newark, de this past weekend I noticed engine load on the quad readout was down to 9-12% with wiretap turned on at 5% tps, versus 12-15% with wiretap off (set to come on at 45% tps). I was crusing on flat roads at sea level at 60mph much of the trip when I noticed this. It's the only variable I changed, and I did it on the fly whilst driving. Torque on tap is way up, I notice less smoke while accelerating up to speed from lights (unless I over-pedal), but it is a little more jolty if I let out of the gas too quickly. These findings could be related to my setup perhaps.

So today was a sucessfull day My cousin bought a new to him ford Diesel and took off the new set of 5' stack kit with 6' miter cut's off. In place of his black single stack kit he had. Then i found out later He also had the diamond plate cover to hide the pipes he meant to give me which i will get tomorrow. Got the whole kit which cost $707 for the kit $279 for the cover for only $250 and got it hooked up and in looks good sound's amazing way better then the old 4' Sinlge out the back or my 4' dual stack kit. Then i bought a pair of "Handy" brand Airgates from a dodge junk yard Valued at $359 a piece for $225 for the pair one was a little bent on one bar and needed some f…

  11. I got a fleetgaurd replacement valve for my stock engine mounted fuel filter. Are the two little O rings par to the installation or additional replacement rings for the sealing plunger? Figured someone here already has done this. Only like $13 from Geno's. I've been waiting for changing the filter to replace the drain valve which leaked last time I did a filter change. Had to flip it open and closed a few times before it sealed. Maybe just dirty. Plus after new lift pump install I increased pressure from about 8psi to 20. Might have brought on deferred maintenance of the drain valve. Sounds like I better clean the input screen to my Raptor too. Dreading another seemi…

Hello everyone. I have a question hopefully someone has an answer. I recently purchased a quadzilla for my 2001 24 valve. I purchased a tune from this page and I can’t get it to import onto the quadzilla app. I’m on an iPhone through WiFi. Any suggestions?

So I bought a high idle switch a few years ago for my 99 ram. Worked great until last week. Now when I turn it on for my mpg fooler my check engine light comes on. It throws codes for the coolant temp sensor and the intake temp sensor circuit high. Not the first time I've seen this issue with this high idle switch. I'm a diesel tech here in South Dakota and one of my customers had the same switch and it did the same thing. I'm pretty sure the switch has gone bad. Just curious if any one has seen this issue as well. I'm sure I'm gonna have to replace the switch. I just don't feel like I should have to pay 150 bucks every three years for it. Thanks.

Well it been down right cold here today... Started my morning heading through New Meadows, ID at -2*F and travelled down to Ontario, OR for a few odds and ends supplies for back home. The average temp for the day was about +25*F roughly but then returning home and crossing New Meadows, ID again just before sunset at +12*F didn't reall get all that warm. (Brrr)...Now I will admit I high idled (6 Cylinder) to warm up the truck this morning and then kicked high idle back on anywhere we stopped keeping the truck cab warm. (Short stops). By the time we got to Ontario, OR wasn't too bad for weather so never used high idle again. IAT fooler is set at 143*F still... As for the Ed…

  17. Hey guy last night while on the way home I was fooling around with a duramax and suddenly my trucks engine died and I had to pull over off the highway. Still had power to all lights all my gauges and everything. My fuel PSI went to 0 at that time my pressure sensor is about 6 inches from going into the VP and my fass 150 is less than a year old. Idk how it would fail but I’m not sure what the issue is or what could have caused it. Anybody have an idea? I’ve loosedned injector lines 1-3-5 and have fuel squirting out when trying to fire. Any help would be great especially with the work week starting tomorrow!

  18. Is there a proper way to drain the water seperator on a fass 150? Whenever I open the valve on the bottom of the canister it seems like fuel just keeps coming out.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I need your guys help with this, I’m trying to perfect my daily tune to maximize power and fuel economy. I was finally able to swap out the DDP 100hp injectors with some DAP 100hp injectors (so much better) Also, the truck does have 35x12.5 with 3.55 gears, I know it’s not optimal but I don’t have time or money to re-gear the truck at this time. Below is what I’m currently running, and any input would be much appreciated. Power levels: 7 RPM limit: 3400 Max valet mode power: 50 Pump stretch: 1400 TPS pump max: 100 TPS pump min: 20 Min pump tap fueling: 0 Pump low boost scale PSI: 1…

First off I'd like to give a huge shout out to Holiday gas station for their awesome "winter blend" diesel fuel, which actually is more like a gell. While I was getting ready for work this morning, the truck was running in 3cy. mode and started to spudder, by the time I could get out to it, it was to late. So while I'm sitting here waiting for the sun to come up, I decided to poke around the FASS webisite and found a filter cross reference chart for both fuel filter and water separator, and I thought I'd share the info with you all in case you ever find yourself in a bind like I'm in this morning. http://www.fassride.com/shop/replacement-parts/replacement-filters.php#hd_…
