Mike, sence I'm no longer running the power puck, Do you think if I install the RV/275's with the stock motor it'll get me close to the power/performance I had or will it need other help? The reason i'm asking, I'm not looking to hot rod in any way. Just kick it up a little, like the puck did with out the other problems. The puck only had appx 5000miles on it, wont trust one again. It did make pulling the trailer alot better. Thanks Ed.

  4. Propane Injection. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Propane is a three-carbon alkane, normally a gas, but compressible to a transportable liquid. It is derived from other petroleum products during oil or natural gas processing. It is commonly used as a fuel for engines, oxy-gas torches, barbecues, portable stoves and residential central heating. A mixture of propane and butane, used mainly as vehicle fuel, is commonly known as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG or LP gas). It may also contain small amounts of propylene and/or butylene. An odorant such as ethanethiol or thiophene is added so that people can easily smell the gas in case of a leak. Energy cont…

  5. So I got my first fuel fill of the Alaska winter fuel blend last week and immediately the stalling when put in drive is back just like my thread of last spring on this problem. http://forum.mopar1973man.com/showthread.php/1584-Problems-Stalling-when-shifting-to-drive-and-hard-starting-when-hot.-Ideas?highlight= I got to thinking after I read JohnFak's thread on the same issue with his truck where new batteries fixed it. http://forum.mopar1973man.com/showthread.php/2401-New-One-truck-stalls-when-moving-into-gear?highlight= Entry #20 I checked my batteries and found they were 5 years old. Well, they are Costco's kirkland brand with a 100 month warranty. I looked at the…

Just got off the phone with Casey at edge asking questions about the edge comp.... Im still working out the low boost smoke issue and he told me that levels 1-3 do not utilize the pump tap!! I asked how level 3 makes 80 hp on the comp and the ez only makes 65 hp... He said the comp does it but doesnt use the tap untill level 4 and if i unhook the tap it will function as an ez.. but instead of 20,30,and 65hp it would be 40,60 and 80 hp... This goes against everything ive read about the edge comp.. Im hoping you guys can shed some light on this for me as my conversation with tech support left me more confused lol

My front end makes a really loud knock through every single bump and vibration it encounters. I remembered my bolt on the shock looking like this when I changed them but had to get it back together and just ignored it. Only the passenger side looked like this, the drivers side was fine. The shock bushing had so much play it could bang each side of the bolt, and it was incredibly loud. So I got some 10.9 hardened bolts that don't have the thread so far up to wear out that should last forever. Went ahead and did both sides. Got some locknuts so I can do away with that big tab thing. I don't know why they did that tab thing when you can get to it with a wrench easily. …

Finally got that damn thing from sucking down my main batteries. I had a good deep cycle laying around so I threw it in (yeah so I have 5 batteries now ) and took the grid heater positive wire and wired it directly to the deep cycle. I put a relay in and hooked it up so that when it is normally closed (not energized) it closes the path of the positive from the main batteries to a wire for the deep cycle positive, that way it will charge any time the grid heater is not on. When the grid heater turns on, it also energizes the relay and opens the charging path so that the battery is connected to the grids and nothing else. After the grids turn off, the relay turns off an…

Has anyone ever seen/used one of these? I'm thinking of getting it. Might have enough pocket change laying around. My autometer one is a piece of crap and I don't think it even reads under 200F. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DIGITAL-EGT-THERMOMETER-PYROMETER-W-PROBE-NPT-/200479992542?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ead89eade http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=19&zenid=8e1935c848838db60b048b3aad855430

Topped it off today and I thought it would only be 10mpg based on how I was driving. There were several long steep hills lasting maybe 1/2-3/4 of a mile and I would hold it at 65-70. I went that fast the entire way there and back. The A/C was also on full blast for the duration of the trip. That should have yielded me about 21-22mpg unloaded. This tank was with the trailer on it the whole time, did a lot of miles around jefferson city to go shopping (sisters bday). Ended up being right at 500.6 miles at the gas station and 29.013 gallons means 17.25 mpg. Sooo I'm very amazed. The trailer only weighs about 4000 but the billboard effect really loads it down. …

need a new one I think, mine no longer squirts... Thinking about just gutting the one that is on there and adding some other type of pump maybe? Just wondering about the type of pump to get? Any pump that will pump water will work great I think, as long as it has threaded fittings I could adapt to 1/4" male barbed for the washer fluid line. Any ideas?? What is the max amount of amperage pump I could use before I would overload the fuse for the washer pump?

J-Hook '01-'02 Automatics (for HY Turbos) Dodge Cummins (182555) Here is a quick way to increase your boost . Available for the '01-'02 24 Valve Cummins engine equipped with the 47RE automatic transmission. The J-Hook regulates the waste gate, facilitating greater boost numbers which rise even higher as performance modifications are added. The higher volume of air will also help keep exhaust temperatures down. Has any used or know about these? Just asking before I bought one.

I just got my truck home from getting the tranny rebuilt and am thinking it might be time to add some horses soon. How much can I add? The guy that built the tranny was saying I could add 50 horse but not more. Talked about the possibility of breaking shafts. I was hoping I could hop it up more than that. He changed up the valve body and put in a twin disc converter which he said was rated for 900 ft/lbs torque. How much power would you guys say I could add?
