A couple bores are eg shaped one had broken bushing and allowed the bore to be beaton just over sized enough to hold the new bushing. That's the one I welded. I could change the welded bushing again but will likely never have to since the machine wont last another 10k. Weve got just under 11k on it. Should have a shop do this but wed be a few grand in labor. A welding machine can be the tool that makes most things work. I've got 3 bushings to go. They're fighting me. Mostly the egshaped bores. Hoping to go back together Monday when theres two of us. I dont think I want to put the swing tower and boom on alone.

I now have cell service at home. I found a refurbished Verizon Network Extender for a whole $70 bucks on Amazon. I figure it would be a good experiment. After getting the box yesterday and then no manual. You have to call Verizon to register the unit. Once done then the unit will take close to 1 hour to setup after plugging in. It need to be near a window for the GPS location for E911 calls. My unit happens to be a Samsung that is 3G signal. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075TF8B32 Very surprised after the hour I've got cell coverage at home now with 3G signal. I'll report back more when I've used it more.

Neighbors trees and my age, thinking about getting a riding lawn mower. Prices all over the place. Some older on craigslist $300 and new, some over $2000. My thinking is used but... Parts situation... all mowers pretty equal? Any hints on what to watch out for?

This is a hot topic and definitely an issue with its gray areas. Speaking for myself as a land owner, I cannot begin to express how fed up and upset I am about free loaders, trespassers, poachers and just flat out pigs who dump their trash, destroy fences and gates, illegally cut trees, set fires, set up camp sites, go digging for artifacts, dump tires, washing machines, refrigerators, televisions, help themselves to hunting & even setting up hunt stands, spotlight at night poaching deer, go atv joy riding of which some groups have exceeded 50 riders, theft of tree stands, game cameras, feeders, gate chains & locks, tools & other equipment, etc. I think you …

Sad to say this hard to put into text on the forum. Christmas Day I was working around the house and thought I picked up a UTI of some sort. It got worse through the evening. The next morning its started to clear then turned into I can't urinate. I drove to the hospital and found out I've got a tumor in my bladder partially blocking the right ureter. Never the less I was outfitted with a catheter and sent home with an appointment for a specialist in Meridian, ID. The ran the camera in me and sure enough, there is a fair size growth. The plan is by next Wednesday to have it removed. I'm going be out of action for a while. Anyone local to me I would like to ask…

Well I had to do it. My wife and I are spending five days in the Asheville, North Carolina area, and a mire 70 miles away is the Chicken Man in Hickory. Curiosity got the best of me, I had to know, after years of light hearted ribbing, does the Chicken Man have feathers? Late this afternoon my wife and I had dinner with @dripley, his brother, their spouses, and his sweet mother-in-law. Good food, good conversation, and a great time. I'm happy to report not one feather was seen. Dripley and IBMobile

I'm learning how to run a Whites MTX e tracker. It's an old one they still make because it such a good unit. Very popular. The reason I bought it is it's still new from 2011 and I got it for $450 with the carry bag, pin pointer and earphones. Anyone familiar with these?

With the growth projections in my apiary operation, the need to transport my hives efficiently are becoming greater. With this in mind, the need for a dually takes precedence. I have considered a gooseneck trailer and its still not off the table. The popular method for beekeepers of commercial sizes use flatbed dually trucks and then pull their loader on a trailer. The only consideration i would make for a dually is a 12v or 24v. But i need the towing capacities and hauling. Usually 96 hives fit in a flatbed over the axle and then trailer/loader. I'm looking for a 5 or 6 speed transmission and ex cab, 4x4. Hard find at a decent price!

It's early May, 2019 and it seems the only time I come by here is to ask for help or do research on a possible project. There are a bunch of good (and smart) folks on here so I figured id just say Hi and thanks. Hope everyone has an awesome summer. I'm more of a spring/fall kind of person.... But it seems most folks are about the summer... Take care Bob

I’m looking for recommendations for a couple different sets of LED lights. I’m installing a front receiver between my tow hooks and wanting to put a LED light bar on either side of the receiver. Hoping I can find a quality one that’s approx 1.5”x8” in a flood pattern. Then for the rear I’m looking for flush mount 2”x2” square LED lights. Any recommendations?
