My wifes oven door inner glass broke so now I have it apart and ready to order a new piece of 1/8th inch glass. Does anyone know if it's better to order the glass tempered? The old piece was not tempered, but, is there any special glass or something for ovens? T.I.A.

My Brittany, who owns the back seat of my truck is chomping at the bit. I think Chuckar season opened in Idaho last week. Hells cyn was my kind of place 40 years ago. Nevada opens Oct 9 and i hope to find some flatter country where my quad will be doing most of the work locating them. Any hunters out there , i wish you good hunting and good camping.

Part of my last years' demise of mental health, was sorting out the problems I was blessed with when I purchased an ag tractor with a 903 vt Cummins engine. Some of you may remember my posts about it scuffing cylinders.. and the ensuing in-frame rebuilds. I was getting about 200-300 hours max service on a rebuild. Not good. I've hunted down mechanics from coast to coast, to pick their brains. At least the ones that were still alive! I COULD NOT FIND ONE that ever heard of a constant problem of scuffed pistons Shoot, it was a task to just get them to understand it was NOT a…

I'm sure some of you fellas will get a kick out of this. 1986 BMW E28.....odometer stopped a while ago at 185,250. This automobile refuses to quit. Runs just fine but now you need earmuffs to drive it so the exhaust drone doesn't scramble your brains. One single rubber exhaust hanger was all that it was clinging to life on. Nothing like a little exhaust carnage

This is just a good news story about a small family owned Company from the great state of Idaho. Hoffman Boot Company from Kelogg, Idaho manufactures quality work boots for practically every trade. They are well known for their quality and comfort, especially in the logging and Lineman professions. When My youngest son began Lineman school At OSUIT last fall. I spent the extra dime $350.00, and got him a pair of Hoffman climbing boots. After about 12 months one of the boots developed a stitching problem in the sole. I contacted Hoffman to see what the cost would be to repair the boot, expecting to get a pro rated price since they were outside the stated warran…

Hey Gang... Things have been busy around here last few weeks. I had @Taz come up from Walla Walla, WA and help me get my winter firewood in and also do a few minor repairs on his truck for him. He was here for 7 days. So even did a bit of carpentry work for MoparMom re-hanging a door on the old kitchen closet. In between all this, I found a wonderful a girlfriend. Her name is Sherri Andrews. Here in the near future I'll get her on the site and you can met her as well. So some of my time is now shifted to talking to her when I can. Then my other job I've Cummins Engine to shoe horn back in a 2005 Dodge truck this next week. I'm just wa…

People often say they want to save the bees. They think by doing so they need to be a beekeeper. While they are well intended, becoming a beekeeper to just save bees is the wrong virtue. You want to save the bees, don't be a beekeeper to do just that. Instead, stop killing their food! Stop spraying all those things that you call a weed! Everyone is so caught up with manicured lots. That the dandelion or any other pesky plant that peppers their lawn is a curse. Yet they complain about bees dying while they spray roundup. This picture i provided is from a hive i inspected today. This will be a frame for my consumption. This coincides with knapweed b…

Don't know quite how to type this delicately; so I'm just gonna type it.......... After a lot of soul searching and "hemming and hawing", I traded MightyWhitey and wound up buying a 2016 Chevy Silverado gasser. Really didn't want to, but I felt it was best both functionally and financially for me. Let me explain........ For the last year; I've been experiencing the P2121 etc. APPS codes on MightyWhitey. Got so bad that I took it to the dealer after setting the Smarty back to stock. New ECM solved it for a while...................but the variety of APPS codes have started popping up at random occasions and at the worst possible times. I canno…

Heading home from work tonight, got real close to home and doing speed limit at 45. Crested a hill and deer on side of road. It looked to turn around and go back. I speed up instead of braking and it decided to run out in front instead! Nailed a doe in the rearward area. Hit her with drivers side bumper area. Took out valence, black trim on bumper and marker light. Driver side tire locked up and I skid to a stop. Put a flat spot on tire too. Ugh... Got out to assess the damage. Deer, dead. But she's PREGNANT. baby kicking in the womb. Wife freaking out. So I do the unthinkable. Drug the deer to the shoulder, cut her open and pulled the fawn out. Umbilical cord…

http://imgur.com/gallery/KabxJ Never seen before photo of the fukushima exclusion zone. When i enter the red zone, i can feel a burning sensation in my eyes and thick chemical smell in the air. before i went there the authority told me that i need a special permit to visit this town and it take 3-4 weeks to get the approval from the local council,, well too much bureaucracy bullshit for me..so i just sneak in the forest to avoid cops on the road ...AND IT WAS AMAZING !!!!!, I still remember what is like to only have a GPS and google map walking in the wood at 2am in the morning to get into the town of okuma, futaba and namie. Have you ever wonder what is li…
