Ugh, this is frustrating. I was never a woodworker by trade and have pretty basic skills when it comes to that sort of thing. I was hoping to see if anyone here knows what my problems could be... I'm getting my butt into gear and trying to get my beehives built before mid-april when I'm supposed to receive my bees. I'm buying 2x8 lumber and ripping them on end to make 1x8 out of it. I'm trying to make sure I get clean cuts as possible but there are a couple issues I'm running into. I've been borrowing the in-laws table saw, its a cheap 10" portable skil table saw. When I mean cheap, I mean cheap. I'm disappointed in SKIL! I've been able to manage to make it work a…

Well as for myself. I started out with a simple pen camera a long time ago which was nothing more than 0.3 Megapixel. Dumb thing only cost me like $30 bucks this was like years ago. Then back when I started the web site I purchased a bit better camera which I've used for over 10 years now to bring all my photos to the web site. It's a Fuji FinePix A205 which I've got a massive 256 MB xD Picture Card. So here in the next few day is my birthday... Yea... I'm going to be 44 years old as of October 26. I finally decided to upgrade cameras now. I've now got Fuji FinePix HS30 EXR. So I'm wonder what you all are shooting pictures with... So here is what I had... To now wh…

My youngest Son drives a used Ford F150 V6, 5 speed, SWB... cute little truck, and it runs really good. So I join the F 150 forum just to keep up with PM issues, and general information about these trucks. I ask a simple question as to what type of coolant Ford used in these trucks, and that I was intending to flush the system. The moderator replies, " Exactly why are you wanting to do this? If the system has been neglected for 13 years you are likely to do more harm than good. LMAO!!!

Alright, they say the best teacher is experience. Well, I certainly don't want this one to be my teacher in this case! I'd much rather receive advice instead! Life is doing better, things are looking brighter in my world. Work seems to have a great future and so does me and the wife's employment there. Yes, believe it or not we both work at the same place and have the same shift. But different departments. Its a very nice way to make our income. The company seems to appreciate the fact of having family work together as we are not the only ones like this that work there. Alright, so with that being said, I have a few more considerations to take into account, but I …

Nice 'end of summer' type reprieve on our fuel prices!! Gasoline is right at 3 bucks, E85 is about 2.35, and sigh, diesel is still 3.55. Oh well, it's better than it was! The 'new' oil coming from N Dakota, and Texas is reportedly pumping hard again... seem we have a glut! Of course, Russia, and other eastern oil producing nations are pissed!... too bad! My question is... Is this a natural swing in the cycle of oil prices... or is it because next week is election Tuesday?

2015 Dodge Charger SRT... Hellcat!!! 4 doors and 707HP! Not to mention a top speed of 204MPH and it starts at the low low price of $63,995 Although I think the 2010 charger body/grille looked better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKE8dyuMasg

  15. I bought a small enclosed trailer... 1993 vintage or so... from a friend who is getting out of re-enacting. Anyrate, she had sticky tranfer logos on the side for her group & I've been happily removing them with a heat gun... my cheapo Harbor Freight heat gun. I've done a few heat shrink tubing on electrical connectors... and more time with the extensive decal removal. Very little actual use. The switch has broken. Mid-use, I shut it off & put it on the (trailer) fender to peel the softened decal. Picked it back up & switch no workee. Piece of Shut. After the decals are removed, a quick wash with Acetone removes the glue & there's bare…

Well just a bit of secret I've got going and I'll let you guys in on it. Since I started working with Lindy doing automotive work for him, I found out about our landlord and his pile of classic cars. So I was introduced to him his name happens to be named Mike too. Well now that I've been working with Lindy since July and Mike has warmed up to me. Mike's got me helping out with working on his classic cars. So, I get to work on some real classic cars and a few custom hotrods too...

http://madselectronics.com/SmartyTouch.html I have had this in my truck for a couple months now and it's a very nice display and gauge. I have been running the EGT probe post-turbo and removed my Ultra Gauge. The unit itself is very user friendly, and easy to read. Some of the things I really like are how bright the colors/display is during the day but dim's perfectly at night, and the max value feature. There are many PID's for my 05 that were not available with the UG or SGII, and the 06+ trucks have even more than the 05. For UDC users the Touch will hold multiple tunes for changing between tunes, this is not on the fly but a PC is not required for…

I cannot remember if this has been posted up before. The other day I thought I stumbled onto a great idea.. Haha, well, I must say, I'm a day late and a dollar short! Does anyone have LED headlights? I was trying to see if they were any good. Brightness, etc. I'm talking about the bulb itself. Instead of the usual filament bulb, its the same style, but has multiple LED's on it. Something like this:

So, after fighting and fixing the jeep, and fixing the jeep, and fixing the jeep, and...well, you get the idea. All the work and never any return. I finally gave up on it and traded it in. Picked this gem up. My plan is to leave it unmolested, using it as my daily driver, and moving the 96 to the work/play truck.
