Alright, so ever since I volunteered at my local FD, I always have wanted the type of washing machine they had there. As years go on, I finally 'am presented with such an opportunity! My work has switched from doing in-house laundry to contractor. They no longer have a use for the washer and dryer. The two are being sold as a pair for $500! They are both speedqueen brands. The dryer is a large unit. One like you would see at the local laundromat. The washing machine is called an extractor and its a front loader. I mainly want the washer, but given the offer for both, I will be purchasing both. I never thought I could get so giddy about a washer and dryer! …

Anyone know how to get the pressure washer to pick up soap to go thru it? Mine has the attachment for dropping the soap pick up tube in a bucket of soap and water but won't suck the solution in. I found the check ball and spring backwards and fixed it but still no soap going thru. Is there some sort of different attachment besides just dropping the feed tube in a bucket of soap? Seems like it needs a pump or maybe cut the check ball spring so it's not closed off so tight. Just want the best set up as I have a log house and need it to pick up bleach, soap and wood cleaners. I also have a box elder bug problem real bad this year and the soap kills them. Pressure washe…

Ok, since I put the new 60hp injectors in the idle seemed to be set too low... I would have to turn the AC off whenever I came to a stop otherwise the truck would run rough and even stalled a couple of times... I would have taken a video however it was just a bit too tight to stick the camera in place and get a decent shot of what I was doing so, I did the next best thing and took some photos (I adjusted the screw with the truck running)

well did some custom hauling for a customer this weekend. hauled a haybuster from back home to where I work about 182 miles. ran it 50 to 55 mph on smooth roads and about 45 to 50 mph on bumpy roads that would make the trailer sway to much and go back and forth. Exhaust temps were at 600 to 650 and boost about 5 psi and fuel pressure was about 12 to 14. thought I would share this to show something other then all the break downs we get haha

All this negative talk about how much we are borrowing, about how the dollar is not backed by gold, Fort Knox being empty..... We have something better than all the gold in the world, think about this.....if we keep up with advancements in technology for our military forces and it's equipment. Protecting the rest of the world from evil factions, that we are already somewhat the worlds police force. Just think how the American dollar can remain strong on that basis. Anything valid here? If the rest of the world looked upon us as their great protector and having the greatest advancements in weaponry, why would a strong country such as ours ever fall into a position of…

I just figure I'd give you all a feel for where I work at... Anything and everything come in our doors down there. Cars, trucks, vans, buses, ATV's, and even big trucks... Jobs were piling up today waiting on parts, trying to get other finished and sent home, etc. Just when you though your caught up it piles right back up...

Hey Gang... I was talking to the state highway guys this morning when they pulled in. I've been informed that this year in Idaho they are suppose to increase the salt and mag-chloride usage this winter. So he was giving us a heads up to keep our trucks wash and rinse off frequently. I figure I'd pass this along to the Idaho members.

  11. I've been smelling a paint type smell downstairs (unfinished, workshop & storage) for a day or so and I've been looking for some paint or thinner can with a loose cap. My wife has been mostly gone at an event for a town group she's President of, so we've not conversed much. I thought she might have painted a sign & she thought I might have... But the odor persisted... I kept looking... I was down stairs & began feeling nauseous... I could not leave the sliding door down there open because the ramp blocks the screen. I climbed over some things to get one window open. I came upstairs & opened the upstairs slider & windows & started fans to get some …

I think I'm going to regret buying this Liberty! Pulled into the filling station this morning, and drove right past the gas pumps, and parked next to the green handled one arm bandit... ding ding ding... started filling my first tank in this jeep. ( ok, fuel pumps don't go 'ding' anymore) I noticed you can't run full tilt on the nozzle, Foam was affecting the way the vent system allowed the fuel to run into the tank... No big deal.. This is about when the real fun began! Lady from the store came bombing out screaming "MISTER, MISTER.... YOU CAN'T PUT DIESEL IN THAT CAR"... ................. ..................…

Hey guys, I've been sniffing around, looking for a 2005-2006 liberty for a couple weeks now, and settled on one I found in Texas. Flew my son down there yesterday to drive it home.. He's really happy how much power this thing has. I can't wait to get my hands on it... He says it sounds just like a 12v cummins at idle, but soon as you roll into the throttle, it smoothes out. It's a vm 2.8 CRD, uses bosch injectors, and the CP3 injection pump. I could relate his experience yesterday, but It would not be possible to put it into words.... Just think of a rural country boy, being dumped into the lions' p…

I have a turbo with serial # neo128 A to4b51 It's a airesearch for a Perkins 354.4 The t04b is (I am hoping, the model???) The tag also has the Massey part number, and the perkins number. ( oem) There are a load of kits for t-3 t4, and t04b and t04e... all listed the same kit for all of those models. So is it safe to assume they share the same shaft bushings, thrust bushing, oil rings, and seals?

My son has been out of the Marine Corps. now for 4 years... He was infantry.. His main job was manning the 50 cal. mounted on top of the Humvee on patrol. Did 2 tours in Iraq, and 1 in Afghanistan. His passion for weapons, systems, and other warfare is strong. He found an outfit a little ways from here that sells body armor, in Iowa. The plates he bought are shaped identical to the ceramic plates issued to him in the Corps... but are made out of steel instead. The ceramic plates were a full inch thick, and very heavy. These steel plates are 0.27 (with paint) He is thinking the…

I'm contemplating larger propane tanks for this year's winter. My 2 30 pound tanks just didn't cut it last year. Had to refill one of them every 3 or 4 days. I've been eyeing 100 pound tanks instead. The problem is i have to be able to get them filled. I can't have a company come and fill them, and no one around here will allow a hook up from their tanks to an rv. Imagine that one.. so I have come to a crossroads. Either I get a truck crane our I make an a frame style hoist. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. What do you guys think. If you side with the crane idea, do you have any suggestions?

Wife and I were out pontooning on the Missouri river north of Bismarck this weekend and spotted this youngster be-bopping along the eastern shoreline wandering through folks backyards not worried about a thing. Just for reference the very spot he is standing with the moon over his head was about 3-4 feet under water during the floods of 2011 and there were several houses that used to be in that void which a couple of washed into the river that summer, the rest were sold off and moved.
