the truck was VERY badly damaged with hail when it was sitting at the train depot in Denver.  The dealer is not sure they even want to sell it..   

The world is telling you to stick with a 2nd gen....

Holy Crap, this has been a process and to have it come to this point.  Your patience and loyalty ought to be rewarded by something.  You have some leverage to get a nice key chain or at least a t shirt. 

Wow..... tis why I would only buy a new vehicle off the lot. I'm sorry to hear this. Hopefully it wont take another 140 days to get a new truck. 

That sucks!!!

 

Maybe they'll fix it and sell it at a used price.

I'm willing to be it's too late to get a 2018 ordered, and he'll have to find one on the lot or wait for a 2019.... probably at 2019 prices too. 

Maybe you can get a big discount. Maybe the dimples will help the areo, kind of like driving a golf ball. That really sucks.

Well I just researched the dates for Ram and it looks like there are 10 days left to order a 2018. The normal cutoff is in July but this year it looks like it's running until 10-AUG. 

 

But then I also found an article that mentions the order cut-off was back in March????

Have em rhino line the whole thing and call it a day.  The small dents make rhino Liner look better! 

well I put in a order for a new truck.  

 

The truck is still at the train depot.  FCA won't release it.  The report is it has 50 some odd quarter sized all over the truck.
