  1. "ITS NEVER THE WRONG TIME TO DO THE RIGHT THING." This young man is articulate and has a flare for colorful language. Scorpions, Chiggers & Sand Fleas, oh my! From a Recon Marine in Afghanistan: From the Sand Pit It's freezing here. I'm sitting on hard cold dirt between rocks and shrubs at the base of the Hindu Kush Mountains, along the Dar'yoi Pamir River, watching a hole that leads to a tunnel that leads to a cave. Stake out, my friend, and no pizza delivery for thousands of miles. I also glance at the area around my *** every ten to fifteen seconds to avoid another scorpion sting. I've actually given up battling the chiggers and sand fleas, but the scorpions give a jolt like a cattle prod. Hurts like a bastard. The antidote tastes like transmission fluid, but God bless the Marine Corps for the five vials of it in my pack. The one truth the Taliban cannot escape is that, believe it or not, they are human beings, which means they have to eat food and drink water. That requires couriers and that's where an old bounty hunter like me comes in handy. I track the couriers, locate the tunnel entrances and storage facilities, type the info into the hand held, and shoot the coordinates up to the satellite link that tells the air commanders where to drop the hardware. We bash some heads for a while, and then I track and record the new movement. It's all about intelligence. We haven't even brought in the snipers yet. These scurrying rats have no idea what they're in for. We are but days away from cutting off supply lines and allowing the eradication to begin. But you know me; I'm a romantic. I've said it before and I'll say it again: This country blows, man. It's not even a country. There are no roads, there's no infrastructure, there's no government. This is an inhospitable, rock-pit ****-hole ruled by eleventh century warring tribes. There are no jobs here like we know jobs. Afghanistan offers only two ways for a man to support his family, join the opium trade or join the army. That's it. Those are your options. Oh, I forgot, you can also live in a refugee camp and eat plum-sweetened, crushed beetle paste and squirt mud like a goose with stomach flu, if that's your idea of a party. But the smell alone of those 'tent cities of the walking dead' is enough to hurl you into the poppy fields to cheerfully scrape bulbs for eighteen hours a day. I've been living with these Tajiks and Uzbeks, and Turkmen and even a couple of Pashtu's, for over a month-and-a-half now, and this much I can say for sure: These guys, are Huns, actual, living Huns. They LIVE to fight. It's what they do. It's ALL they do. They have no respect for anything; not for themselves, their families, or for each other. They claw at one another as a way of life. They play polo with dead calves and force their five-year-old sons into human cockfights to defend the family honor. Just Huns, roaming packs of savage, heartless beasts who feed on each other's barbarism. Cavemen with AK-47's. Then again, maybe I'm just a cranky young bastard. I'm freezing my *** off on this stupid hill because my lap warmer is running out of juice, and I can't recharge it until the sun comes up in a few hours. Oh yeah! You like to write letters, right? Do me a favor, Bizarre. Write a letter to CNN and tell Wolf and Anderson and that awful, sneering, pompous Aaron Brown to stop calling the Taliban "smart". They are not smart. I suggest CNN invest in a dictionary because the word they are looking for is "cunning". The Taliban are cunning, like jackals, hyenas, and wolverines. They are sneaky and ruthless, and when confronted, they are cowardly. They are hateful, malevolent parasites who create nothing and destroy everything else. Smart? Bullshit! Yeah, they're real smart, Most can’t read, but they've spent their entire lives listening to Imams telling them about only one book (and not a very good one, as books go). They consider hygiene and indoor plumbing to be products of the devil. They're still trying to figuring out how to work a Bic lighter. Talking to a Taliban warrior about improving his quality of life is like trying to teach an ape how to hold a pen. Eventually he gets frustrated and sticks you in the eye with it. OK, enough. Snuffle will be up soon, so I have to get back to my hole. Covering my tracks in the snow takes a lot of practice, but I'm good at it. Please, I tell you and my fellow Americans to turn off the TV sets and move on with your lives. The story line you are getting from CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and other liberal news agencies is utter bullshit and designed not to deliver truth but rather to keep you glued to the screen so you will watch the next commercial. We've got this one under control. The worst thing you guys can do right now is sit around analyzing what we're doing over here. You have no idea what we're doing, and you really don't want to know. We are your military, and we are only doing what you sent us here to do. From a Jack Recon Marine in Afghanistan, Semper Fi. "Freedom is not free, but the U.S. Marine Corps is paying most of your share". Send this to YOUR FRIENDS so that people there will really know what is going on over here. God Bless America. PS Why would any civilized country want to bring these barbarians into their cities or states. To do so is total suicidal insanity! We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. WHATEVER YOU DO ALWAYS GIVE 100%... UNLESS YOU ARE DONATING BLOOD.
  2. "US" by Paul Genova (Mr. Paul Genova has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Wireless Telecom Group Inc. since June 30, 2016. I haven't said too much about this election since the start...but this is how I feel.... I'm noticing that a lot of people aren't graciously accepting the fact that their candidate lost. In fact you seem to be posting even more hateful things about those who voted for Trump. Some are apparently "triggered" because they are posting how "sick" you feel about the results. How did this happen you ask? Well here is how it happened! You created "us" when you attacked our freedom of speech. You created "us" when you attacked our right to bear arms. You created "us" when you attacked our Christian beliefs. You created "us" when you constantly referred to us as racists. You created "us" when you constantly called us xenophobic. You created "us" when you told us to get on board or get out of the way. You created "us" when you attacked our flag You created "us" when you took God out of our schools. You created "us" when you confused women's rights with feminism. You created "us" when you began to emasculate men. You created "us" when you decided to make our children soft. You created "us" when you decided to vote for progressive ideals. You created "us" when you attacked our way of life. You created "us" when you decided to let our government get out of control. You created "us" the silent majority You created "us" when you began murdering innocent law enforcement officers. You created "us" when you lied and said we could keep our insurance plans and our doctors You created "us" when you allowed our jobs to continue to leave our country. You created "us" when you took a knee, or stayed seated or didn't remove your hat during our National Anthem. You created "us" when you forced us to buy health care and then financially penalized us for not participating. And we became fed up and we pushed back and spoke up. And we did it with ballots, not bullets. With ballots, not riots. With ballots, not looting. With ballots, not blocking traffic. With ballots, not fires, except the one you started inside of "us" "YOU" created "US". It really is just that simple.
  3. I would replace the #2 injector line. There has to be mating problem with the high pressure.
  4. Should look up asbestos and see the history and what it's currently used in it might shock you.
  5. As for the Quadzilla there is just theories running right now on how to make proper tunes. I can say without a doubt excessive advancement will degrade MPG and performance. You can actually move the torque where you want. Basically in a nutshell retard timing brings the torque curve to lower RPM's, advancing will move the curve upwards in RPM. Still in all the default setting are not bad to start from but I will warn that advancing timing you have to watch your engine load as you get to high you notice engine load is higher this is a sign of negative torque. In other words the fuel is firing before you made TDC so it pulls power away (torquing the wrong way - negative torque).
  6. Dave is right...
  7. Change this to 40 PSI. Drop this to 15* Increase to 30%
  8. No relay. Wiring diagram is above. Like I said it most likely a bad fuse. Headlight fuses are in the PDC under the hood. The dimmer switch is before the headlight switch and the headlight switch is the last item heading for ground. Red is positive and black is ground. That simple. +12V -> Fuse -> Headlight Bulb <- Dimmer Switch <- Headlight switch <- Ground
  9. Not normal. If the old filter was a K&N it may be normal. But any oil residue must be washed off the compressor wheel. Being its spinning very high RPM's a little goop in the compressor could offset the balance of the compressor wheel. Kind of like having mud in the inside of a wheel it will offset the balance. Possibly a cracked exhaust manifold? Loose valve lash? Educated guessing here...
  10. You have CCD network issues and a dying injection pump. Your definitions are not correct. P1693 is just flag. Nothing more.
  11. @Quadzilla Power, @Me78569 and @Quadzilla_Stephen I'll bring the boys to you.
  12. Subzero temps no. Positive temps yes.
  13. Only thing about LED lights is the snow piles up on the lens quick. No heat to keep them clean.
  14. I've got the same problem but I typically hook up my mechanical gauge for test like these to get around the ZERO out problem. I'm running a ISSPro EV2 gauges.
  15. You might take a peek over at the Quadzilla forum and peek in on the different topics. https://mopar1973man.com/forum/174-quadzilla-power/ I'm also part of the BETA tester for Quadzilla I will admit clearly the Quadzilla beats the Edge Juice easy! Tunning is better control, timing control, less wiring in the cab (just 1 wire for the Quad).
  16. Fuel pressure seem good. Was it low at all during cranking like ZERO then snap up to pressure that would be a sign of air issues.
  17. If it was me I would replace all those rubber joints with fresh vacuum hose. Problem will be solved.
  18. Be better off on the Adrenaline easy to tune than the XZT. You can control your low boost fuel number precisely.
  19. Two questions... 1. Error Codes any present? Use OBDII code reader. 2. Fuel Pressure? What were the numbers like?
  20. Personally I would like to have a full on and off switch so A/C can either turned on in any position or forced OFF and any position. Some times you would like to drive through an area of heavy smoke or dust and want to keep your heat going so you'd flip over to MAX A/C now the outside air is turned off but the A/C compressor is running. Kind of like you like to run DEF or floor DEF without the compressor coming on. Like in the morning before the engine is warmed up so you get super cooled air.
  21. NV4500 are very common fair priced. NV5600 are bit more expensive and bit more rare so the core prices are typically higher. Like from Six States in Boise the core on my NV4500 was nearly 3,000. So be aware rare part typically have high core prices.
  22. Only way to really test a VP44 is to replace it. Cost nearly the same price to send a VP44 to be benched test being it takes about 3 hours on the Bosch 815 test stand to bench one pump out.
