  1. GDP has a lot of filter setups. Looking at getting one for my friends '06. Heard only good things about them. http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/dept.aspx?dept_id=08-001
  2. Forgot on the auto's with a HY-35 a J-hook is used.http://tstproducts.com/j-hookassembly.aspx
  3. It installs in the front of compressor housing. You remove the clamp on the hose that comes from the waste gate and turn out the current elbow and thread in the new one. Connect the hose and I think Edge gives you a hose clamp to use. Do you have a manual or auto outta curiosity. 01' autos had a HY and manuals a HX-35.
  4. 15w40 Rotella. Been using it since I first bought a diesel.
  5. I want to get a hold of him to resolve something between him and I. It's not a pressing issue, just would like to get it done. I do thank you for the offer though.
  6. I thought it is cool because you don't you see them a lot and it would definitely turn a few heads. It would be another way to annoy the neighbors.
  7. I would think you could eliminate one battery with this too. Should last longer than a electric starter.
  8. Found this on youtube, I have never seen anyone put one on B series. Pretty neat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A0CU0I_zJw
  9. Been trying to get a hold of Prowelder for over month with no success. PM'd him and sent him a letter in the snail mail. I hope you see this or else if someone can give him a message.
  10. Nice clean install.
  11. That is awesome. I have seen spliters for skid loaders but nothing like that. If you have uniform size wood that is the ticket. We use to have a grapple bucket for the skid loader but not anymore. It sure was nice for moving the big pieces.
  12. I was looking in the fall '13 Geno's catalog and is has the 4921511 that you have listed. You can call them and pick there brains about if it will fit. I found something on DTR about this. Not sure if it helps you or adds to the problem. Still worth a look.http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/dev/oil-pressure-sensor-4921511-not-right-part-t258872.html If all else fails I would go to Cummins with the engine serial and get one. That's what I did anyways.
  13. About 5 years ago mine took a dump. They are pricey. I looked in the Geno's catalog and it lists for $87 and it says for 98.5-02. That is cheaper than I paid.
  14. I don't actually have it all apart right now. I was working under the dash and saw a shine from the light. I was looking in from the passenger side and could see this in the vent and pulled it out with little effort from a needle nose pliers. I was looking in the factory service manual, but it hard to tell exactly where it goes by the picture. I will have to take another look at what you mentioned and see what exactly this one does in regards to operation.
  15. I was working on the truck today and seen this in the vent by your feet. I am thinking it is the door for the defroster? I think this has been off since last spring because I remember hearing something rattle. I could never figure out what it was. I did not notice anything unusual, but I have it set to blow air out at my feet 95% of the time or I have the windows down.
  16. I think he was making a reference to Pulp Fiction. Propane is being rationed around here for over a week already. You can only get a 100 gallons at time. All the area store shelves are empty of electric heaters and it looks like it isn't going to warm much on the 10 day forecast. I have been burning more wood than normal. I am happy all the seasoned wood is oak and maple this year. Makes nice coals that last all night.
  17. Forgot about aluminum. I seen a really cool ARB aluminum bumper like the one the guy in TDR put on his truck. A guy in town has one on a 3rd gen.
  18. I am running a 62/65/13 and it spools decent and cleans up the smoke to a slight haze at WOT. Although my cam helps too. I would lean toward a something like a Super B single in size. Probably want to upgrade tranny sooner than later. I think the single is 57/65/14 if remember.
  19. That is good one, a lot people call it a deer slayer. Funny thing is now I don't see many deer after it was installed. Its like they know. If I do see one I let off the throttle and that's it. I looked at aftermarket full bumper replacements and man they are expensive. I like craigslist, that is where I found this. Paid $125 for it and spent another 65 on some steel, recovery loops and paint. The lights I had on the previous brush guard and just cut some holes and mounted them in the bumper. It don't look as nice as a road armour, but it only cost a fraction of one. I have not seen anybody with an bumper replacement and a snow plow. That would be heavy.
  20. Glad everyone is fine. I had a run in with a deer in the '00. It did a little damage so after a couple years of a cheap beer can thick brush guard I found a push bumper off a tow truck, been on for 2 years now. I like it a lot, extra insurance.
  21. Is this what you are looking for? http://www.vulcanperformance.com/Modified-liberty-fuel-module-p/fmds.htm
  22. People drill and tap the intake horn or use a boost bolt that replaces a bolt on the intake cover. I have read a few stories where people snap the bolt by tightening a little too much. I would remove the horn and drill it personally. I looked on here and couldn't find the article but I did find a few on CF. http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/98-5-02-powertrain/623182-diy-boost-leak-tester-how.html
  23. Yankneck696 that was Diesel4life. I was thinking the same thing with it being stuck. Also no wastegate on my current turbo.
  24. His sig says it an HO should be a HX unless the HO stands for something else.
  25. I seen the one in the picture Moparman had laying out for display. Not that I am complaining about the cubby, just want to see how it looks in the cab. I'm just curious after reading about the overhead install.
