  1. The one place that chaps my Hide with how they choose to fly the flags is the "Texas Road house" restaurant in Bismarck, The fly a US flag a Canadian flag and a Texas state flag but not a flag for North Dakota. To me that disrespects us as a host state.
  2. Depends on how bad the injector is, if it failed and cracked a tip then it will smoke white warm or cold, if it is just hanging up or internal issues but still firing somewhat it will clear up once warm. Either way I would not drive it too much taking a chance of washing down a cylinder wall and causing cylinder scoring or burning a hole in a piston.
  3. Look behind the OBDII port and make sure all the wires are snapped into the connector, it is fairly common for the recepticle ends to unsnap and push out the back of the connector, just grab each individual wire and see if you can push it back in, if that doesn't work a light film of Die electric grease will help keep connections better too.
  4. I know on my 02 the FASS HPFP150 went for about 100K and 8 years trouble free except during cold starts in subzero temps it took a while to build pressure on occasion and was still running strong when I sold the rig a couple years ago. If I had to change pumps every year or every other year I would get my money back in a heart beat and look for another product.
  5. You can buy a 3rd gen track bar for that money and the frame adapter kit and do it once and be done forever.
  6. What do you have for a rig, fill out your sig to help us better serve you. My vote is to look for a Dana 80 disc and scrap the D70 Idea. If set on the D70 definitely go with the disc. They are not bad to clean out the housing with a few cans of brake cleaner, do not modify any housings when you have a good one already. Now is the time to install a good Limited slip unit while it is apart as well.
  7. My vote from descriptions is an injector issue, just dumb luck it coincided with the EZ install, nothing I know of an EZ can do to cause this issue.
  8. I am opposite, I perfer, electric for fluid pressures "I don't much care for runing live pressurized fluid tubing into my cab", and mechanical for air pressure, temp gauges I go either way, if it is a short straight easy run for the capilary tubing then mechanical if it is a long or gauge is in a hard spot to get to run then electrical.
  9. Without the tap it is nothing but an Edge EZ, timing only.
  10. Kinda like this video? There is a stab, a slight loss of power, a terrible grunting, their timing IS WAY OFF, and then the power comes on instantly......... Sorry I just couldn't help myself................or pass this up. I had to beat Dorkweed to the punch here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqjtz3rEPG0 I need to find a job with the main stream media seeing how I can take one story and twist it into something it isn't. Hey I hear there is an opening being vacated by piers Morgan.
  11. It's not just Over the road truckers that have to follow the rules, all of our vender service Technicians who work out of a service truck in the field have to keep log books now too and can't run too much over 12 hour days travel included and IIRC 60 hour weeks and then need like 36 consecutive hours off before returning to work, not sure on the exact numbers.
  12. Yeah, but my gym is actually in my unfinished basement. Started working out on the elipticle on January 7 and missed 3 days in the first week as we were on the go and not home, have not missed a day since and today marked the loss of 20#, about 25-30 more to go.
  13. Well thanks to ISX I now have a pink I-pod. I downloaded an owners manual to figure it out enough to get going, I started my own apple acct and have about 75 songs loaded up on it and tried it out and got it working. Only thing I have not figured out is how to use the scroll ring, I can't seem to get it to respond to my dried out gorilla fingers very good, not sure what I am doing wrong. :banghead: I barely touch it one time and it scrolls through everything so fast I can't stop it then I can't get it to respond at all, I feel like a cat trying to cover up its stool pile only with one finger.
  14. This is funny as hell!!!!! But it could be happening anywhere across the USA the way this winter has been. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zQVYORdeZs
  15. Pretty good, seems he like to sing a lot, he has quite a collection of videos on the tube. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgVNf8AKCwQj_wf8Oi1dh0w?feature=watch The creepy thing is my nephew, my sisters little boy is only 10 years old and I can picture him looking exactly like this in 30 more years, they look eerily a lot alike.
  16. It reminded me of a local story from a couple years ago. Marty Beard "Who is a very unique individual all around" and is a regular on Trent Loose radio show for being an honest outspoken rancher/business owner, had a daughter who shot one just south of Bismarck as well. The back of his septic truck had the phrase "Hauling Obamas stimulus package". and could be seen all over our area. http://bismarcktribune.com/news/local/year-old-bismarck-girl-shoots-mountain-lion/article_74c68284-11f7-11e0-af21-001cc4c03286.html
  17. Saw this news story this morning and had to share it. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/02/28/11-Year-Old-Girl-Wasn-t-Scared-a-Bit-When-She-Shot-Cougar-To-Save-Brother

  19. I do not discount the quality of any BD product, I ran a ton of BD performane parts on my 02 and was never let down with any of them over about an 8 year period. Needless to say I am a big fan of BD products. They do offer a nice warranty on the pump too.
  20. Been looking around and I like the flowmax fuel pump BD diesel has for a fuel pump and is a nice modular system. Anyone have any input on this one? http://www.dieselperformance.com/index.php/product/index/175P
  21. Welcome Tyler, clean rig for sure.!
  22. That is the beauty of the ranch hand, It sticks out far enough that I can climb up on mine put my feet in between the radiator and the bumper and sit on the cross bar and work from there much easier than kneeling on the factory bumper. Plus the design of the ranch hand gives a nice tool and parts tray as well with the big platform it has behind the cross bar uprights. If one wanted to run an aluminum bumper that holds up extremely well the Ute bumpers are built very strong but are really pricey as well, that tis what they run in Australia. http://www.uteltd.com/pages/bullbar.htm
  23. Your so light because you forgot the Dabba.
