  1. Any codes? how about your fuel pressure, do you have a way to monitor this in the cab? Are there any mods done to your truck?
  2. It wouldn't take you long to pull the cover off your truck, it is only a few bolts and would take just a few minutes. That way you get the measurements that you want and know that you need.
  3. Yes, I run 1 oz per gallon with every fill up. Today's diesel needs an additive to up the lubricity like Jag said, the 2 cycle oil is a very efficient way of doing that. HEre are some articles to consider.
  4. My cover only has a small tear and it doesn't need replacing. Though, I would like to get some seat covers.
  5. I reused my seat cover, but geno's sells new covers. https://www.genosgarage.com/product/dodge-ram-cummins-seat-cover-shg001pc-charcoal/covercraft-front
  6. https://www.genosgarage.com/product/dodge-ram-replacement-driver-seat-cushion-gg-sc9801/seat-cushions This what I bought and used.
  7. I wished I would have done it earlier. My old cushion was so smashed and sitting in it I leaned to the left. After a long drive my back would hurt. After putting in the replacement I had to reset all my mirrors. For $125 it is a bit pricey but a huge improvement and nothing about the new cushion seems or feels cheep.
  8. My original seat cushion was SHOT! I've been wanting to replace this for some time, but I hesitated dropping the money on a cushion. This was very simple to do and it only took 45 minutes from start to finish. The bottom is easily removed with a 10mm socket, there are 4 bolts that are easily accessed from underneath the seat. With the seat removed, the cover was removed by pulling the clips attached to the fabric that was secured to the metal frame. The fabric cover is held onto the cushion with 2 Velcro strips and 3 hog rings. The replacement cushion came with replacement hog rings. The 4th picture is of the rings, sorry, I didn't realize it was so out of focus. The hardest part was getting the clips back onto the metal frame. The new cushion is stiffer and it takes a little more to compress it. After that, it was just installing it in the truck with the 4 bolts. It is different sitting in the drivers seat now, defiantly a recommended upgrade.
  9. Everyone has their own opinion. I run Rotella, I don't add any additives.
  10. I'm not sure if condolences or congratulations are in order. I'm glad I have never dealt with that issue.
  11. The stock LP never did put out adequate pressure. If you continue to drive with those fuel pressure it will further damage if not kill your VP44. Upgrade your lift pump to something that will maintain a pressure higher than 14psi. There are lots of options and ideas here. Also, check to see if you LP in in the tank or on the block.
  12. Did they do any repairs to the ECM or simply just reflash it?
  13. Where did you get the IP that is in the truck now? Have you suspected the camshaft position sensor in the past? Is that why you have a replacement or are there other problems that motivated you to purchase that? Just some thoughts, when you replaced your injectors, did you replace the o rings on the crossover tubes and make sure that the copper washers were installed? Is your fuel filter good?
  14. It was missing before and then you replaced the injectors, correct? After installing the new injectors how long was it running fine before the miss came back? Your signature says that you have replaced the IP twice? Was it changed trying to resolve this miss? How long ago were the changed?
  15. My pressure doesn't increase with acceleration. There is a pressure regulator that keeps the pressure constant. I have read that others said there pressure increases, but I have never seen that.
  16. There is no way you are paid enough.
  17. I have the fuel boss, it's been on for 35k. No issues. My FP doesn't fluctuate, it is steady at 17psi, whether at idle or WOT.
  18. If you paid with a credit card you may be able to get the warranty through your credit card company. I've gone that route before, not quick, but it did work.
  19. It's your truck do with it what you want...but, I can't imagine spending that much money on anything and treating something like that. Maybe it's a case of more money than brains? Or maybe he borrowed the truck from a "buddy"?
  20. P2016 or P0216? Removing the restrictive banjo bolts in between the stock filter and IP will not hurt, but it probably will not fix your current problem. It would serve better for you in the long run. Are you adding 2 cycle to your fuel? Doing that my buy you time on your IP if that is in fact failing.
  21. You can drill and tap it for your EGT gauge before ever installing it.
  22. Interesting...I unhooked mine and the WTS no longer comes on. If I reconnect them, the like works as normal.
  23. If you disconnect the grids at the batteries, does the WTS light still come on?
