  2. Where are you located, I have a 99 with 80k still in wrecked truck BUT I am in So. California also has the DTT built transmission and transfer case
  3. I bought the plug for the bed and it came with some cord and a TEE I had to purchase the other two plugs to attache it. I want the plug in the bed for the 5th wheel and the plug at the pull trailer receiver in the back. You could always splice the wires together. either way it turned out to be more work than I thought it would be...be sure to keep the plug in the bed low enough to have the plug to fit through, I did not and had to make a spacer for the bed side to have the plug cleared but looks like it was designed that way when I was done.

  5. I have a HX35W with 275 RV injectors and it tows my 5th wheel well. reasonable egts. but I do keep an eye on theme. not sure this is useful for you.

  7. You must be young, I have done things like that years ago, now I would not chance that on the road.
  8. that is what happen to my boys truck we did a boost leak test and then finally discovered the edge ez was not working, not sure how he talked edge into replacing it but he did. That small amount of extra hp is definitely noticeable.

  10. Do you by pass the transfer case vacuum switch and do it all manually? and to go into 4x4 lock do you engage the transfer case then activate the vacuum switch in that order?
  11. I have some of those air switches in 1/4 in. one in and either port out. did you have a diagram of the install by any chance that would be an easy mod.
  12. my boys edge EZ went out and we check for boost leak none, we were use to the extra power with the EZ. turned out the EZ went bad. all else was ok.
  13. I have had good luck with a contact cleaner spray like Deoxit D5 not cheap but I refer to it as magic electrical spray
  14. I just noticed some water at the thermostat housing and will be by Napa Tuesday and will get a thermostat. what is the part number of the one that is recommended. thanks
  15. I have hummer tires and wheel that I believe are the same size. No rubbing and have a 2 in. Simple lift on the front
  16. What I have herd is the best solution is to CERAMIC COAT the lenses. I have not personally tried it though, Coating is in the $50 a bottle neighborhood.
  17. another thing I would add is to use double wall adhesived shrink tube to keep out the elements
  18. this is so powerful if you use it with it not against the object it Flys out past the spring
  19. My newest tool for this procedure is the super rivet gun I have with a bit that is about 1 in. diameter with a bronze piece on the end. a couple of blast with the rivet gun and the stuff just falls apart.
  20. I have one of those units that you pull a vacuum on the system and then use that vacuum to suck in the coolant , seemed to work great for my old Jeep straight six that would have problems for days to burp ot the system. Just a thought
  21. I am using a digital oil (Speedway) Gauge for my fuel pr. And have a mechanical gauge by the lift pump so no fuel inside the truck
  22. I have never done it this way, always used vice or press, BUT I like the idea BUT I might make a piece for the press that presses both sides of the cross at the same time

  24. I would like to make some improvement on my stock setup 1998.5. But I can not spend a fortune. for the back roads I have an led light bar.
  25. Just a thought, if the heating element is bad I purchased and ebay heater for my buggy with back and bottom for $12 for both and they heat the seat well
