I actually put a 2x4 in the lower part of the door and tweeted the top of the door for a better seal of the door

I may be wrong but I went with atf 4 and steering has worked better and that was many years ago. remove fluid from reservoir and add ATF 4 run an repeat several times. for me I have seen an improvement.

I believe the power probe 4 will do A/C and a lot of other things I just got a used one and sold the III power probe.

I had a smarty for a while and it would lock up the computer when I tried to program it. I did all the recommendation ast to having full voltage when using it and good connections and my only option was to disconnect the battery and wait and then I return the truck to stock program. any issues with the Quad in this area.

when possible a power bleeder is my favorite way to go, but I also use a vacuum pump and a ball jar with fittings to use on each bleeder. I have not tried a pressure bleeder to the bleeder and pushing the brake fluid up to the master yet.

Kinda what I thought but not sure I had a computer that was on the way out. You folks know your stuff and would be curious if I would be better off switching the computer from my crashed 1999 Dodge ram 2500 if there was some upgrade from the 98.5 to the 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 truck. the reason I ask is that when I wanted to run a smarty tuner the whole truck would just not accept any tune I tried, I had to disconnect the battery and wait and I could then restore the truck to normal.

I have a no start a lot of times if I jump in a turn the key on. If I wait for all the dings on the dash it starts every time. Is this normal? I has been like this for a long time.

I got this P1757 GOV PRESS ABOVE 3 PSI IN GEAR WITH 0 MPH also got P0622 and P1693 the last two for some reason come on at times when I activate my exhaust brake. I have a DTT built transmission and it has some sort of electronic device that substitutes for the transmission shift control under the drivers seat. I am on vacation and just have a bag of tools so lets not scare me I still have to hall the 5th wheel home. I cleared it and all seems good and this happen both time while I was not pulling the trailer just at a stop sign or light. thanks ps I only have internet a couple of time a day at the campsite.

What do us 98.5 guys do with the push pull type light switch???

Did the same thing and have had no issues

I had been using a vacuum pump, but now have better results with a pressure bleeder, put 20 psi and run around to all the bleeder, no issue with sucking air through the threads.

Could it be an auto reset circuit breaker

A portion of the oil circulates through the system

If the condesor is not hot with that pressure seem like air/moisture is still in the system, and not evacuated enough

I go for about an 1/8 in toed in

I fitted may super heavy duty rivet gun with tip with brass end, makes fast work of it. And makes all the ball joints slip off when hitting the side of the fitting

These are the ones I use for my trailer https://www.technorv.com/tst-flow-thru-system-with-4-to-12-sensors/ that seems like a lot of money but On my my new to me used trailer I had a blow out on the first trip and nearly tore out the whole side of the trailer, with the sensors I came to find out that one of the rims had a pin hole leak from new. was able to braze it from the inside and never an issue again. Caught a puncture and got an alert on a trip through Louisiana and was able to pull over while still having air in the tire. I do like the separate monitor it has but NOW they have less expensive ones that use your phone to monitor the tires.
