  1. you would have to compare rpm to speed and qualify gearing....as you might notice the quadzilla does this HOWEVER it is not %100 accurate and I have noticed some points where I am in 2nd when it thought I was in 3rd. the resulting locked shift would have been no fun.
  2. His issue isn't related to the typical ac noise, rather the tuning the PCM. auto guys with BIG injectors have this type of issue at cruise under very light load.
  3. Does your remember what Level you were on before you shutdown?
  4. run less timing then. Do 17-19* in that area. You are lugging the motor pretty good at those rpms + gearing + tires + leveling kit. Play with timing up and down and see if you can't get cruise egt's to fall some. Most of your mileage gains are going to come from timing adjustment. the truck needs XX fuel to move down the road so adjusting canbus fueling up and down is going to do squat to your mpg. wiretap can cause mileage loss as it is much harder to control. at cruise you want %0 wiretap for mpg.
  5. DDP injectors are going to be hazy. What rpms are you at going 65 and 75?
  6. make sure that timing is in the 18-20* range at 55-65 mph.
  7. It is a race tune. your dvice does not want ot use any tune that did not come from the export. tell me the tunes you want and I will build them
  8. the tune came from your device. Dunno why but sometimes that works.
  9. Try to import this tune race.json
  10. are you using the v2 1998-2002 profile? If so create a custom tune in the app, then export it and send it to me
  11. try and hotwire the vp44. Google search "hotwire vp44"
  12. kinda my point, it is hard to find a used tradesman, easy to find a laramie at 10 k under new. A 50k laramie with 30,000 miles is a higher price than the Tradesman that we want.
  13. Normally I agree financing is not a great idea, but interest is %3 and I intend to keep it for 300,000 + miles. I would much rather pay that interest and know the history so as to save money down the road. Someone else's mistakes / misuses cost a ton of money....I know I have lived it with the 2nd gen. The diesel market is not really normal. I have spent awhile looking for the "right truck" new or used, but it hasn't come about. Examples $56k 30,000 miles https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/2016-ram-2500-limited-with/6524797748.html $52K 36,000 miles https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/2016-ram-2500-megacab-cummine/6528369353.html 50k 40,000 miles https://denver.craigslist.org/ctd/d/2015-ram-2500-laramie-any/6495490345.html we are not the type to be in debt, We pay our cc of monthly etc. Live well within our means etc.

A smoke free tune is just as fast as a smokey tune. I've run a TON of testing. Anything over a light haze is a complete waste of fuel.
  15. @dripley you can pay the first monthly payment if that will help?? please
  16. I think the thing I am most looking forward to is messing with the data coming through the OBD plug. the 2nd gen trucks have an obd bus that is locked down by a chastity belt with directions in Latin, the 4th gen is much more standard. With a little sniffing we should be able to have a NICE screen gauge setup using nothing other than stock sensors and a $35 obdmx device and some old andriod device
  17. did you try the ios directions on the first page?
  18. It went from BA to BG status today. I think that's a good thing hahahah.
  19. unless you go out there and measure actual circumference then it is kind of a guess as to tire size vs circumference
  20. It's fuzzy math in the quad. Compare to the GPS.
  21. boil some water, dip the end of hte blue hose in it for ~10 seconds.
  22. whats your tire size set to?
