  1. Meh that's ok. the longer I wait the more I have saved.
  2. Well still waiting at BG status. Who wants to do a group buy on a truck with low volumen midnight blue color? only need "at least 9 more orders"
  3. Both of those images have TPS at %20. Is it bucking in the images? It sounds like too much timing, try adding 1* of timing to fuel load timing also drop your 1500 rpm timing setting to 16* and the 2k down to 18.5* and reduce you light throttle timing down to 1 or 1.5 *. You are ending up with a ton of timing at light throttle in the 1500, 2k area I dont think your truck likes timing as much as most do. Was there something "special" about your setup? pistons or somehting?
  4. please post the tune you are running. also please give us details as to when the popping is happening? WOT or light throttle? what is timing at when this happens? how about fueling?
  5. So when it was working the quadzilla would revert back to lvl 0 on every start?
  6. sold the 2nd gen waiting on the 4th gen
  7. 155 is low low stall isn't it? What that choice?
  8. Man it's a vicious cycle. did you splash holy water on the parts after pulling them from the green thing?
  9. throttle reponse issues normally mean you are starting your tune to low. I dont know your mods so I am guessing but say you had 7 x .009 injectors, and your starting point for the tune was %80, thats way to low and you can increase that starting ppoint up to %95 or higher at 0 psi. That will throw a bunch more fuel at the truck. as for MPG, that all comes from timing. Again we dont know your mods, but typically you want 17-19* of timing in the 55-65 mph area while at cruise.
  10. At what condition does it happen? light load only? if so under what load %. what rpm does this happen at?
  11. It is computer related. The ecm thinks it needs xxx fuel to idle, but since you have big injectors you only need yyy fuel. The ecm over fuels then under fuels
  12. What are you looking to do with the tunes?
  13. The tuning settings are defined by what profile you are running. The Profile selected in the app needs to match the flash on the box under the hood. So if you have the V2 profile selected in the app you need to have the V2 flash under the hood. Easy way to know is the build date sensor on the V2 profile. If it has a date then you have V2 on the box. sounds like you have the V1 profile selected.
  14. less timing in those situtations. Please post your tune and narrow down the datalog so we know where the bucking is happening.
  15. I know you say the vp44 removal is non negotiable, but why are you worried about the reliablity of a vp44? For the price of getting all of this together and swapped you could buy a spare vp44 and keep it in the cab just in case. so onto your questions. -the vgt is good to about 450 hp in a towing application -issues, you are going to have CELS related to the pump being removed. I dont know if you have emissions but most of the time that is an automatic fail of the emissions test What you need -89-93 dodge ve pump preferably non intercooled -89-93 dodge ve pump gear -89-93 dodge timing cover -89-93 dodge overflow valve -custom injector lines or custom dv holders from 12mm to 14mm -injector pop, I would think stock bar is fine, but you are going to lose duration. Whats peak pressure on the VE 700ish bar? compared the the 1200ish bar of the vp? You prob want to drop pop down to ve specs.
  16. @Dynamic as always you are a wealth of information.
  17. all sensor data that comes from the j1939 bus under the hood is 1 way.
  18. at that point the fueling tuning will really shine, on stock injectors you can pretty much set fueling as high as you like.
  19. Some timing changes, thats about it. I did not set the default tune in the v2 tuning to be much more than stock. if you do get bigger injectors down the road then the fueling tuning helps a ton.
  20. It works with excel. you can also just input the values for your tune into the app. Once you get your fueling figured out you really wont touch the tune much... I haven't in months. Heck I dont even have a tow vs daily vs race tune.
  21. use the tune you exported and the tune builder to create tunes. here are 2 more tunes for you. anti theft and a tow tune antitheft.json tow.json
  22. I've seen this before and never could explain it. The json verify process doesn't show any difference, but it is as if the device does not allow it unless it came from itself.
  23. @Quadzilla Power The app will load the tune from the site, but it does not show up on the profile. He does have the right profile selected. If he exports me a tune I build the json and he imports it back in it shows up just fine. something about the origin of the json results in the tune showing up or not.
  24. might talk to @Chris O. I think his CCD tool will tell you current gear according to the pcm. It also reads road speed, and oss speed / tps etc etc etc. he could build on heck of a lockup controller.
